- Katharina (7/5): Location good but 20 min walk to station, old style Japanese house. - It is a very typical but old city house in Tokyo. The location near Ikebukuro is convenient. It has a lot of rooms, a big kitchen/dining area and two bathrooms. Everything was very clean. Communication with the owner was without problems. It is a 20 min walk to Ikebukuro station. The house is old, so in February it was really cold. Habe Bath downstairs is old. There wasn’t a lot of cutlery and we couldn’t find chopsticks at all…

For foreign tourists with no Japanese skills, it would be good to arrange a meeting place on arrival. We were just very fortunate that a local man helped us out.
