However, the room they assigned us 807 was absolutely horrible as the bathroom stunk from a drain located on the floor of the bathroom. The maintenance staff tried remediating it by spraying some chemical in the drain but that only worked for a day. On our checkout they were supposed to help us with luggage after waiting for a half hour I gave up and we decided it do on our own. Another thing that really bothered me is they only allow long term guests use the microwave. I dont understand the policy. I was expecting better from a swiss hotel. Not sure i will repeat again.

- Islam (6/5): Clean but will not use again - I was supposed to get an upgrade as platinum VIP member. I did not get it, the guy thought he was smart telling me it’s a better room and any other upgrade I will need to pay. The room was very small and he did not upgrade. The wardrobe is extremely small and in very tight place between bed and bathroom wall. Don’t book if you think you’ll get upgrade. Although room and hotel is clean you do see that the furniture needs updating. Bed is not comfortable. Staff at reception not efficient. I needed to add another day as on business trip but hardly used the hotel. It’s also far from restaurants or shopping malls. They do have a bus shuttle though that goes to the beach or mall. I only found out when I asked. I didn’t use as times did not suit me. I travel a lot and will not use again when in Dubai.

The rooms have no hair conditioners. Just shower gel and shampoo. Also no body cream. The hotel is very clean. The reception staff although friendly seem short staffed and not very efficient.

There was also a problem with the water pipes in the hotel that made it very inconvenient for us to get dressed and leave for our activities on time. The curtains didn't close all the way so a lot of light from the neon signage next door to us can into our room. Not sure if we will ever stay at this hotel again. Wasn't the best experience at all.

- N (10/5): Highly recommend - We recently stayed at this hotel for a family vacation. The customer service was top notch. Cleanliness, prompt attention to requests and gourmet breakfast buffet were A+. The pool is small but very clean and well maintained.
- Alexandre (6/5): Noisy stay a Revier hotel - I stayed one week for a business trip at Revier hotel, unfortunately the glass sliding door could not seal properly when shut, and the measured noise was of 50dBa all time with door shut, due to the proximity of the motorway and traffic. I asked several times the hotel to find a solution, but they were not capable to help which was very disappointing. I would not really recommend staying. The hotel otherwise is good but the location is a little strange and you cannot just walk out to a pedestrian street.

The check-in process was a little strange because two people were helping at the same time. One sitting at a desk to the side of me and another was sitting in front of me.

The beautifully maintained pool and lounge area provide a perfect spot for relaxation. Even in the basic room, the stylish decor and comfort exceeded expectations, earning it a solid 5-star quality. The daily room service was impeccable, adding to the overall satisfaction of the stay. The only drawback is the location in Business Bay, which limits walkable options for cafes, restaurants, and beaches. However, the hotel offers a convenient shuttle bus service to some locations. In summary, Hotel Revier offers a truly great stay, showcasing 5-star qualities in services, quality, and comfort, with the only downside being the less walkable location. Nevertheless, the overall experience makes it a highly recommended choice for visitors.

- Jovana (10/5): - This is the second time I stayed here, and as last time-I kept extending my stay and ended up staying for a week. It’s close to down town, clean, affordable, and they even have a shuttle bus to Dubai Mall. I didn’t use it, but it’s nice to know that they have it. For moving around with an Uber in the Business Bay and Downtown area, this is an excellent location. The staff is also extremely nice, particularly the ladies that work at the reception. The hotel smells really nice too, like cloves and cinnamon. Lovely!
- Jovana (10/5): - Super clean property, suite is fairly large, and close to downtown and Dubai Mall. They even have a free shuttle to the mall 3 times per day. Bathrooms are clean but rather small, and only bathtub, no walk-in shower. All in all, great value and nice because it's relatively new.

The hotel is now surrounded by high-rises so there is no difference between "room with city view" and other rooms, IMO, except the slight difference in price. Overall, I would visit this hotel again if opportunity arises.

- Shabib (8/5): Good two nights retreat - The hotel staff were amazing and receptionists were friendly. They upgraded us to keep us in the same floor. Location is very close to Burj Khalifa and access to main street. The only point is that i was hearing the traffic/cars from the road. Maybe investment in sound proofing the rooms would be advisable.

Usually if a stay is negative I just never come back and forget all about, However, I felt so violated and disrespected by hotel management in several ways that I was forced to write this. Management was extremely rude to me and my guest. No sense of hospitality. Mohammed Saeed the manager should be fired. If I owned this hotel, i'd retrain staff. When I tried to get refund for my 4th night, they basically stonewalled me. Sent me back to my room to talk to expedia and then when Expedia called hotel management THEY WERE NOT AVAILABLE TO RESPOND. this was all within 5 minutes. Food is 3/5, hotel room is 2/5 and hot water turns cold occasionally during the shower which really sucked. they're overcharging for what it is and there is alot of highway noise that kept me awake. STAY AWAY.
