- Bernard (9/5): Very Nice -- even if not a hotel - Location, location, location. I wanted something in Old Town Dubrovnik, and looked at ALL available properties. This was the best -- right inside the Pile Gate, convenient for dragging all the luggage from the prior stops on a three week trip, and a 3-5 minute walk from everywhere. The room was large, comfortable, modern, with all the amenities you'd find in a regular hotel room. A nice breakfast was brought to the room each morning at a time we designated -- picked from a limited list (but with some customization available) the night before. Given that it overlooked the Stradun, I was pleasantly surprised that street noise after 10pm wasn't as bad as I anticipated. It is what it is -- and that's OK. It's not a hotel -- no lobby, bar, restaurant, room service (other than the breakfasts), gym, etc. I understood that. Be prepared to walk your luggage up to your room (we got help from the young woman who met us when we checked in). The front door desk (2m X 2m foyer) isn't staffed. They make up for that with very good text communications about things to do and in answering your questions. *I* would go back again (but that doesn't mean my wife would).

Breakfast was delicious and delivered to your bedroom. Mary was very friendly and cleanliness standard was perfect. Very helpful receptionist who you can contact by text to arrange breakfast choice each day. Nothing except note there is no lift.

The room was lovely - everything you needed and OMG the breakfasts… such a lovely touch having that delivered to your room in the morning! The location was perfect just off the main thoroughfare. The staff were exceptional nothing we asked of them was any trouble. We enjoyed a delious breakfast after a great nights sleep. We left some things behind and we were notified within an hour of leaving. This kind of attention is hard to come by. I totally recomnend BotaPalace as the place to stay when visiting Dubrovnick. We loved everything about our stay.

Provided absolutely everything needed, from wellness essentials to straightners and even a nice little cherry liquor, which I rather enjoyed as a little night cap! Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, and it was delivered to our room exactly when requested. Communication was through WhatsApp, and this worked well with no issues. Thank you for a lovely stay. The noise level from outside, I think we were just unlucky as there were construction workers at the same time, and they seemed to start work very early! Obviously, this was no fault of the hotel.

It is a great place to stay; luxurious rooms, clean, helpful & friendly staff, lovely breakfast, and probably the best location in the whole of Dubrovnik Old Town. We loved it. We liked everything. Be aware - because it is on the main street of the Old Time it can be a little noisy if there is a festival - but - this is to be expected, the windows are triple glazed and the music stops before midnight. It is not a problem.

Restaurants, grocery all just across the street, and around it. remember that you need to carry your own luggage from Pile Gate to the hotel (although just 3 minutes walk) since cars not allowed in Old town. All sight seeing, game of throne tour, souvenir, etc at walking distance. Must take game of throne tour ( iator or tripadvisor or any tour operator) to relive the tv series memories. Breakfast is served in room at pre decided morning time. It's good in a way, but some hot food, items gets cold by the time you are served. Hotel manager Karla and her assistant are around till afternoon, but always available on whatsapp and call. They help you organizer taxi, trips, sight seeing, tips etc. karla oragnized Taxi person took us to mostar Bosnia and to aiport drop next day. We were lucky to have met very nice and experienced tour guides on all our local tours. Fantastic and well mannered helping people. a minor issue : Mattress Bed was too high for us, it may be suitable for very tall couple ( 6 feet plus). No other issues.

- Katarzyna (10/5): - Świetne miejsce dla podóżujących we dwójkę, w samym centrum Starego Miasta, dojście do obiektu bez potrzeby wspinania po schodach, studio na poddaszu przestronne mimo skosów, bardzo czysto, w łazience markowe kosmetyki do kąpieli i wszystkie niezbędne akcesoria, łacznie z jednorazownymi szczoteczkami i pastą do zębów. Kuchnia dobrze wyposażona, ale korzystaliśmy w ograniczonym zakresie, bo stołowaliśmy się na mieście. Bardzo wygodne łóżko, w telewizorze dostępny Netflix. Bardzo dobre śniadanie dostarczane codziennie do pokoju na umówioną godzinę. Wejście do obiektu znajduje się w innym miejscu niż pokazuję Google Maps - są to pierwsze drzwi na rogu Stradun i Siroka. Śniadanie pyszne, ale dość skromne: 4 zestawy do wyboru, w każdym po dwa tosty, dżem, miód, w niektórych ser i wędlina i coś dodatkowo (owsianka, omlet, sałatka owocowa albo croissant). Wieczorami dość głośno (w barze naprzeciwko muzyka na żywo do 22), nawet po sezonie turyści kręcą się do późnych godzin nocnych, przy zamkniętych oknach bardzo nie przeszkadzało, ale w sezonie może być uciążliwe, jeśli ktoś woli spokój trzeba wybrać coś w dalszej odległości od Stradun.
- Jennifer Jersey Kodros (10/5): Perfect apartment in the heart of Dubrovnik - Bota Palace is gorgeous. We stayed in the studio apartment and it was perfect. We got to select our breakfast every morning and received great recommendations upon arrival which were super helpful - and delicious! They also helped us organize a transfer service from the ferry to the gate when we arrived and met us upon arrival even though it was almost 9pm. On a rainy day, umbrellas were available by the door. Just a very thoughtful stay from start to finish and always felt taken care of! Would stay again in a heartbeat! If stairs are an issue for you, be aware that there are three flights of stairs up to the studio apartment : ) We had no problems but something to keep in mind!

The French Toast was bigger than the plate....hard to eat. Staff made great recommendations for high-quality restaurants that were off the beaten path and a bit less touristy. Noise was quite loud at this room facing the Main Street in Old Town (Standun). Housekeeping with vacuuming and moving furniture began and 6:22am in the apartment above, so that was the end of sleeping.

Centrally located , close to restaurants , shops and beaches No lift , however it wasn’t a problem for us but maybe for older travellers Because the hotel is located centrally , you can hear party goers to early hours of the morning every night .Earplugs were provided however sound proofing windows would be more effective . May reconsider if you have a health issue as ambulance do not come into old town .

Check in was easy and the property host was very responsive. The rooms need to be sound proof and they also need blackout curtains. Way too much light from the street coming in at night and the sound too loud. Even the breakfast service in the morning. We were woken up both days at 6am with people and plates moving around. It's a small hallway and stairs.

The location was good - situated inside the Dubrovnik old city. The room had a nice spacious bathroom. There was noise from the street as the window of the room was located just above the Main Street. No one helped us with the luggage - there was a lift only for the luggage but it was out of order. Eating the breakfast inside the room.

No front desk or reception area, just beautiful rooms in a building right off the main pedestrian street in the Old Town. Breakfast was included and we were emailed a menu to choose from and a time that we wanted it delivered to our room in the morning. The breakfast was hot and delicious. The room and the bathroom were both large and well appointed. This hotel was a nice surprise in an otherwise very touristy and crowded city. Because of the city's historical status, the buildings in the Old Town do not have elevators. Difficult to move luggage around. Pack light.
