- Chadapa (10/5): This was the best first hotel experience in Osaka. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone - The room might be small, but it's comfortable and the location is excellent. The bathroom is clean and fully equipped. Pajamas are available to borrow. Free snacks like pancakes and various drinks are available in the afternoon, and the pancakes are delicious! The room was small, but that wasn't a problem. I was able to park the stroller outside the room without anyone saying anything. The hotel provided everything I needed.

- Calvin (9/5): Nice hotel, great location. - I had a great stay at Hiyori Hotel Flex Osaka Dotonbori, and the location really is the standout feature. It’s very central and close to everything, making it incredibly easy to explore Dotonbori and the surrounding areas. The hotel itself is well maintained, and the staff were consistently helpful and friendly, which made the stay even more pleasant. The room was clean and regularly serviced. I stayed in a twin room. It was fine overall—not uncomfortable, but not especially spacious or luxurious either. The bathtub was on the smaller side, but that seems fairly typical and didn’t cause any real issues. Overall, this is a solid, dependable hotel option. Would I stay again? Yes—mainly because of the fantastic location, which really is a big plus and the breakfast was good too even if there wasnt a wide variety. It was around a 15 min walk to a metro - not sure if I did not look properly.

Plus no fresh fruit. Beds are hard...no mattress toppers. Staff are all helpful and great English by some.

They cleaned regularly while we stayed. Rooms are small so you don’t have loads of space to open your cases, but this is clearly stated on the website.

For a 4 star hotel you would expect more. Redecorating whist I stayed which is fine except wallpaper on the floor in the corridors. Attention to detail lacking - didn’t address me by my correct gender when I had an issue. Small customer service mishaps that added up to many over my stay.

We could walk out the door be instantly in the middle of the action. Tons of sights to see, food to eat, and experiences to be had! Exactly what I wanted! The room had an excellent blackout curtain, and we didn't hear any noise from the street late at night. The back door on the first floor opened to the river which was so nice, and we were able to walk everywhere from the hotel. The room was small. I expected this, and I was not disappointed; however, if you are looking for a spacious and luxurious room, this is not the place for you! While the room was very soundproof from the outside noise, we heard a lot of hallway noise from people arriving late or leaving early. This is quite common in most hotels. Not great if you're hoping to sleep late or get to bed early.

- sam (5/5): First time great, second time a disappointment - Location was great and the first time my friend and I checked in was wonderful. The reception staff were great and welcoming. Explained everything we could need and was so kind. The same receptionist dealt with us on check out after one night and was great. I made the mistake of booking for another 3 nights and when I went to check in again a completely different experience. Both receptionists were not helpful, the tax I had paid the day before seemed to have increased and they couldn’t explain why or how the amount equates to 3 nights. There was no explanation, no welcome gift or treat like the day before and also a misunderstanding about the room I should have. Not worth the money and I regret extending my stay. I wouldn’t stay again or recommend. It’s hit or miss depending on the staff at reception.

There was a need to get a number and wait to enter the restaurant for breakfast. We waited for about 20 min to enter. The mattress could be a little firmer. It was overall still a fantastic stay.

It was one of our favourite hotels we stayed at in Japan. The complimentary drinks and pancakes were a lovely bonus and really added to the experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and noticeably more spacious than many other hotel rooms we stayed in during our trip.
- Jason (9/5): Very comfortable and free pancakes :P - Free coffee machine, post mix soda anytime of the day and free hot DIY pancakes from 1100-2000hrs Room was clean and spacious, with twin beds, warm and comfortable. Bathroom Japanese small. Location is good, Dotonburi can be very hectic with people and lights, but this is a little out of the way, but still central enough to enjoy, it appears a few Vietnamese restaurant's around and very close to shopping districts. I only stayed 1 night before my return flight. Everything was pleasant not much to write about. I was accosted by some ladies of the night within 5 minutes walk of the hotel, so its that kind of area.
