- Sarah (10/5): Amazing montmarte location - Brilliant area in Montmartre near 2 metro stations. Surrounding by amazing cafes and bars and very close to the Moulin Rouge. Compact double room which is standard for Paris with some amenities such as herbal tea bags and hairdryer with other things available upon request. Very friendly and approachable staff Tight fit in the lift only able to accommodate 2 people at once. The only small issue was a slight smell in the room at all times and the bathroom extractor makes noise so you have to close the door at night time.

I would have given this hotel a 5 out of 5 but the night we stayed there was an event on the outdoor patio, over the courtyard, and it was SOOOO loud. There was no chance of our kids falling asleep until the event ended.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Room had a very bad odor - The room had a distinct sewage stench. They didn’t have any other rooms available to move us to, and spritzed air freshener, but the smell remained. The hotel advised they would have the manager contact us and comp the room, but it’s been a month and there has been no contact on their part or compensation.

- Allen (10/5): Good service, friendly staff, great location - We arrived a bit early. The staff was super friendly, stored our luggage and welcomed us to Montmartre. The breakfast was above average. While the rooms are small, there is ample storage. Our room refrigerator wasn’t working and they replaced it immediately. We will be back!

- Ivette (10/5): - This boutique hotel was super cute! We were traveling with a family group of 8 people and booked 5 rooms this past March. We really enjoyed the walkable location and the rooms were well apportioned and very clean. Like many hotels in Paris, rooms are small, but the location and cuteness factor more than made up for this, especially since the beds were very comfortable and the rooms were quiet. Overall, we recommend this hotel for its location, cleanliness, and aesthetic appeal.

- Esther (8/5): - Comfortable room. The breakfast was very basic and not close to being worth the price paid. Communication could be improved. The front door to the hotel locks every evening. Unfortunately, this was not communicated beforehand, so I came back to the hotel at 11pm and was locked out. I kept buzzing and knocking, hoping to be let back in. Turns out the receptionist was on a break which would've been fine if there was some sort of communication in place.
- Gabriel (8/5): - The property itself was spectacular. The staff was friendly and helpful, the location is beautiful and close to the Sacre Coeur and within 5 minutes from the nearest metro station. The only complaint that I have is the price-to-performance as I would call it. I feel that it was overpriced for what was provided. The room was smaller than we expected, the pictures do a good job of making it look bigger than it is but in actuality there is exactly one foot of space to walk between the the bed and every wall in the room (and they also charged an extra 50 Euros to checkout 2 hours after the normal check out time). Like I said, everything about the hotel itself was spectacular, so if you're willing to be frugal, this could be a good fit for you (just don't pick the 151 sqft room haha). :)
- Clare (10/5): - We had the most warm welcome to this quirky and stylish hotel which we loved. The rooms were small but perfectly fine for a short visit. The staff were helpful, and were able to speak English which was a great help to us. We were given a complimentary glass of Cremant for our anniversary, which was lovely and a fab gesture. We had lunch outside, the food was great. The hotel is brilliantly located with lovely cafes and restaurants, close to the metro and within walking distance of the beautiful Sacre Coeur. I could only find one little thing which would have been of benefit to us, and that would have been some coffee and tea. We had a kettle, but in the standard room this is not supplied. A wonderful place with wonderful staff in a wonderful locations - we will be back thank you

- Shelley (10/5): Lovely Boutique hotel - Just back from Hôtel Monsieur Aristide in Montmartre - a hidden gem tucked on a quiet street away from tourist spots but walking distance to everything. Our room had a private garden (beautiful even in February!) and was tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable and the street peaceful for great sleep. The also had some nice lighting. I could actually see myself in the bathroom! Bathroom has a luxurious double shower with heated towel rack, though watch out for water splashing from the doorless design. Note that the toilet is separate from the sink/shower. Required a trip around the bed to wash our hands. One heads up: the room door is extremely heavy and finicky. My husband had to open it each time as I couldn't manage it - consider this if traveling solo. Staff was consistently helpful and friendly. They made Valentine's Day special with roses and an excellent cocktail at the bar. WiFi worked well, and in-person check-in was quick (though online check-in didn't work). Perfect location near excellent restaurants and shops without the crowds. There's a great café on the corner for all-day dining. Loved the charm of real keys instead of keycards. The room was lovely, staff attentive, and location ideal - excellent value for the price. Definitely recommend for those wanting a charming, romantic, and comfortable stay in a more local-feeling part of Montmartre.

- zimeng (2/5): - Terrible experience with the male receptionist who claimed to be the manager when the shower in our room was running at boiling temperatures. Called two times in the span of 30 mins. Arrived 10 mins late after the second call. Tried to fix it himself by hand labor but failed after 15mins. Spent 45mins bargaining with us until he conceded to just letting us a working shower next door - after claiming the hotel is completely booked out. When I asked for a partial refund: he implied that he didn’t have to “solve the issue” for us if we didn’t “cooperate”. I believe he meant for us to not make any noise that may affect his position. After 15 mins the real manager came whom had apologized and gave us the better room. She helped with moving our luggage and I believe that deserves some credit. I am baffled at the lies he gave and he attempted at making our request preposterous when we were tried and wanted to have our needs taken care of. For the affordable price, we understand it was just a stay solution. However, the amount of angst and disappointment we felt from this man was entirely unworthy of the savings. The pictures looked more polished than it really is. Dust accumulated in corners. Air conditioning had a loud hum. I’m merely describing my experience, do what you will with these informations.

- Alexandra (10/5): Great place for 2 nights in Montmartre! - Great stay in Monmartre! This hotel was a lovely pick for my husband’s and my two night stay in Montmartre! We visited the week before Christmas and the hotel was decorated lovely. We were not expecting craft cocktails at their bar designed by the resident bartender. The location of the hotel was perfect. You can easily walk down to Moulin Rouge and all the sites, but you are on a quiet street. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

- Catherine (10/5): - The absolute best hotel in the best part of Paris. The staff were amazing and so accommodating - they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and comfortable. Everything was pristinely clean, the rooms are so cute, and the boutique touches like a hotel newspaper and old timey stereos in each room were a great plus. A well stocked mini bar, too. Walking distance to everything in Montmartre, including the best cafes. I had a fantastic stay and can't wait to come back!

Location is 10/10 too - 2 minutes from the Moulin Rouge and right on the edge of the picture perfect Montmartre. Highly recommended - we will be back!

- John James (10/5): - This was our family’s first trip to Paris. From the moment we arrived at monsieur Aristide we were treated very kindly. Aldo was exceptional as was the rest of the morning staff. We started each day with a nice breakfast and wit and knowledge of the sights from the staff. The room was small compared to American standards but in line with the rest of Europe. It was very clean and tidy. The size made us efficient on what needed to be out of the luggage and when. Montmatre is a beautiful area and this hotel is in the heart. One warning, if you struggle walking hills and steps, do not stay in Montmartre. We plan on returning next year and will definitely stay here again.

- Paris (10/5): - This hotel is a hidden gem! Staff is excellent, the lattes are one of the best in Paris, the room is clean and quiet, and the garden seating area is very peaceful and cute. Walkable to all of Montmartre and easily accessible to metro, Uber, and bolt. The live entertainment was excellent as well! We will return. I had my small daughter with me and staff were so very kind to her and even let her feed the fish!

Neighborhood is amazing – very walkable to sightseeing around Montmartre, as well as the metro for access to the rest of Paris. Also, a wonderful wonderful staff — the kindest and most helpful concierges!
- A J (8/5): Nice little hotel to explore Paris - Lovely little hotel in the buzzing area of Monmarte. Would of been 5 stars if the fire alarm didn’t go off twice in the middle of the night resulting in a very disrupted sleep.
- Elaine Mary Elizabeth (10/5): - I chose this hotel based on its reviews and it certainly lived up to its reputation it was clean, yes the room was small but perfectly formed. The staff were lovely we were welcomed with open arms by a lovely man who also turned out to be a comedian as well as a lovely singer !! We travelled with our friends who were visiting Paris for the first time they also loved the hotel. Montmartre itself is lively and again we we’re welcomed by staff in the bars we visited. We are already planning our next trip and will be booking the same hotel again.

- Kimberly (10/5): - We stayed two nights in courtyard room which we really liked. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. There are steps down to the bathroom area and also to the closet. I would recommend a nightlight in those two areas because the room is very dark when the lights are out, but that is also great for sleeping! The staff were very good, efficient and friendly. We didn't eat there so I can't speak to that but it was an incredibly convenient location to everything in that area, tons of shopping and places to eat. We had a great stay.
- Amie (8/5): - Overall we had a pleasant stay at Hôtel Monsieur Aristide! The rooms were tiny, but clean and had everything we needed. We used the airport transfer service site recommended from them, which was a great option for us. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and helpful.

- Amber (10/5): Perfection - Excellent location!!! We had the junior garden suite with our own petit jardin! Walked everywhere and saw everything. The staff was beyond helpful, Spoke English, and the place has such a unique vibe. We booked it completely by chance and would go back in a second!
- Aleksandra (8/5): - The hotel was very funky and had really cool light switches. I loved the plants, vibe, books, and all the random instruments and throw backs to olden times. The only drawbacks were that I didn’t realize how physically small the room is until we got there. I presumed there would be a bit more space for two people for an executive double. Don’t get me wrong, the room was very cute and super clean and well decorated. Just small for our personal taste and comfort level. The other issue was the evening night shift staff. When I asked for an ironing board, it felt like I was being cumbersome and annoying to the staff at hand. Not sure if that was intended, but that was how I received their behavior/reaction to my request. When giving back the ironing board I was even a little shy to approach this said person.

They serve a wonderful breakfast. One of the evening employees was not helpful. We would love to return to the hotel in the future.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely hotel in a lovely neighborhood - This hotel is lovely and the staff of the hotel is accommodating and friendly. I would recommend to friends. The hotel is in a fantastic neighborhood full of history, restaurants and activities. It is very hilly in this area so if mobility is a challenge maybe select a different neighborhood. The hotel has a very "trendy and modern" design (think Brooklyn Hipster), which is not to my taste and not typical for most Paris hotels, but many people will appreciate and enjoy. If you are looking for a Louis XIV vibe - this may not be for you. I loved that this hotel was plastic free and very eco-conscious. Enjoyed my stay at this lovely hotel.

- Julie (10/5): Fabulous three nights near Montmartre - Loved my stay at Monsieur Aristide, very elegant and well designed boutique hotel superbly located to discover the 18th district and only a 25 minutes from Gare du nord - handy if you come with the Eurostar. Nicolino is an amazing receptionist, so resourceful about Paris, and arts. Beds are confortable although matresses might be a bit too hard for some. Haven't tried the breakfast, I found the price way too high for it. No coffee in the bedroom but high quality tea.

- Alicia (8/5): Tiny - Super cute and modern hotel but rooms are tiny - and we had the biggest one on the floor. Bed was super comfy and great shower. Booked a terrace room and didn’t use it because it’s winter. Breakfast was subpar.

- natasha (10/5): - Wow! What an amazing stay we had for our very first time in Paris! The location is right in the heart of charming Monmarte, and we just did not want to leave! Every morning, the staff made us feel right at home, with smiles and the best accommodations. We even found ourselves leaving time to stop and chat with them each night! They absolutely changed the way I view hospitality to be honest. The rooms were cozy and clean-10/10- can not WAIT to come back!

- Amanda (10/5): - My husband and I and our 2 boys (15 and 11) stayed for 5 nights. We had a family room, which was 2 adjoining rooms including 2 bathrooms. The hotel was lovely. Front desk was helpful and friendly. Close to the metro and many shops and restaurants. We had the breakfast twice- good variety, easy, relaxed. Would definitely recommend this hotel to families, felt very safe and even our room facing the street was quiet. Felt very French and we had a wonderful stay!
