• Yogev (7/5): Great location but proccesses must improve - Everything was perfect and comfortable, location is a blast closed to public transportation and the lively Akihabara. Check in and out strict rules are unacceptable, especially when traveling with young children. We arrived to the hotel around 2PM with bento boxes for lunch, but we were told that we cant enter the room until 3PM, the room was ready with our luggage in it, but still we were told to sit on a small bench and eat in the lobby until 3PM. The kids had a very difficult time and cried, but the staff didn’t care. Check out is the same, you need to check out at 10AM sharp, otherwise they will charge you full nightly rate.

They make asking for a toilet paper roll or two a hassle and insist that you should finish all the rolls to come back down to ask for more in the middle of the night. They simply try to find new excuses everyday to not give you necessities needed in a hotel room. When we asked them about these policies, a female hotel staff responded with a lot of attitude :( Not worth the hassle. Rooms had a lot of dust.

• Gillian (10/5): Lovely stay. - Place was clean and beds were comfy. Washing machine was convenient. Lighting was welcoming. Duckie sponges were a nice touch for the kids. Location was central in Ueno, which is great, lotsa food options nearby. Gap behind washing machine was too big, we think we dropped something but wasn’t sure. The bunk bed railings were too short and we think it is abit dangerous for anyone to sleep so high up with such short railings. Can have more space to put luggage and clothes.

La salle de bain est très bien, il y a même une baignoire à la japonaise (avec contrôle de la température de l'eau). Nous avons peu utilisé la cuisine mais l'équipement est bien aussi. On entend le bruit du métro quand il passe mais c'est très supportable car c'est un bruit sourd. Un odeur de cuisine permanente dans le couloir mais c'est dû aux restaurants à côté et pas vraiment la faute de l'hôtel. Heureusement, ça ne sent pas dans la chambre.

Please note that there is no drip coffe machine in the room and you hear the sound of trains in the room night time it subsided.

• Huan (8/5): Great choice. - Good location: Parco, Montbell, Uniqlo, and a big supermarket are all within a 3-minute walk. There’s a Jojoen opens until 3:00 which was perfect for us since we landed late. Many nice restaurants in the lanes nearby. It’s a bit far if you want to visit areas on the west side of Tokyo, but I think it’s fine since the Yamanote Line is near the apartment.

• Nathan (10/5): - TRAVELERS: CHILDREN OVER 3 YEARS OLD COUNT AS ADULTS. EXPEDIA DOES NOT TELL YOU THIS. I would highly recommend this place if staying for a long period of time more than two or three nights. The hotel is extremely walkable to okochimache station and the market nearby. The staff are very friendly and the amenities offered are well worth the value. Our room had an amazing view of the trains and Tokyo skytree which made the stay extra memorable. WILL DEFINITELY BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN 🙂

• Nina (10/5): Clean, conveniently-located apartment hotel for families. - Great apartment space for 4 people, very efficiently laid out. Liked having a kitchenette and fridge to store food from combini. Toilet, sink, shower were in different "compartments" so very handy. The front desk tried to be helpful. The washer and dryer were extremely useful (Directions in Japanese), need to do daily load because it is small. We appreciated the good laundry detergent available at front desk. Apartment is close by to many train lines and small restaurants. Air conditioning was weak, and took a long time to cool room on the hottest days. We ended up borrowing a fan from front desk. The front desk was not able to help with shipping our luggage, they gave us a brochure, but ended up having to figure this out on our own because we were shipping outside of the wards. They directed us to the shipping company office which is close by. TV only offers shows in Japanese so need to sign in on own Netflix acct.
