- Melissa (8/5): - Room not ready at check in. Staff were polite but not overly accommodating. Simply instructed us to wait in the lobby for an additional 45 minutes. It was pouring outside so a walk around the city to kill time was not a possibility. Once a room was available, the stay was pleasant.
- Vanessa (6/5): - Upon submitting this review I saw a note that said I had VIP access; not sure what the VIP access was & was not Informed upon check in. I checked in on 10/9/25 at approximately 11pm. I tried to do the self check in but the price varied from what I was expecting with no explanation on the tablet so opt to join the line and speak with the front desk agent. There was only 1 agent working and the line was long and slow moving. Upon reaching the agent he informed me the amount included facility fee to the refundable deposit & I received a voucher for 2 free drinks however the bar was closed. It was late so I headed straight to the room and knocked out. In the morning I always strip my hotel room before leaving. The pillows were badly stained and so was the duvet. Management needs to invest money in properly linen. Increase the staff & change the bar hours. This is Miami not Missouri. Other than this- the facility has great potential and it’s walkable to shopping, dining and Miami port
- Debbra (6/5): - Called the front desk about the AC and not being able to change the temp was told maintenance would be up and they never fixed it. I noticed the filter vent was dirty took the filter out and it was absolutely disgusting, I cleaned it and pics are stay. The elevator is very confusing to use. And the door to the room slammed shut so hard that my finger got slammed in it and was bruised and hurt very badly. The light to the bathroom would turn on out iof nowhere. The food was very good, the reception workers were not the kindest people. If the hotel was not as close to the venue we go to on a reg basis I would not chose this hotel again.

We reported it around 3am when we got there and they didn’t show until after 11am and said that they had it turned off earlier on their remote system. We said it at the front desk and we only received an apology and a “everything else was ok?” Like if it is ok to sleep with no AC. I am never going back to that hotel.

When we approached the front desk clerk (after she got back from lunch (only person working front counter) she laughed when I asked if they would validate my parking, saying we don’t do that. We approached a different front desk employee the morning about the same concern who was also very arrogant and unhelpful. I’ll never go back personally.

- Melinda (8/5): Great facility - Terrible Customer Service - We arrived to check-in, the young lady at the front desk never greeted us or looked up. She simply said "I need your ID". She reviewed ID, gave us our keys with our room number and never thanked us or said a word. I've never experienced this type of poor customer service before. Morning of check-out, we wanted to purchase 2 bottles of water from the vending machines. They were padlocked. I asked the front desk, 2 employees doing nothing but chatting, they advised I had to go to the bar. 3 bartenders working, with 3 customers at the bar, took over 11 minutes to get someone to help me with getting 2 bottles and pay for them. Not acceptable service from either encounter with staff. Highly disappointed.

- Thomas (6/5): - Billing isn't clear, the junior suite is really poorly laid out with the controls confusing and no directions, a lot of seemingly confused people, a teenager was on the elevator with a black and eye and injured arm, staff provided a very minimal response and should have filed a police report. The pool was unmanaged and overcrowded, this is not the experience we have had in the past at all

- Caroline (6/5): Hospitality needs to do better - It was modern & clean. Housekeeping wasn’t very efficient-we only had 2 bath towels, no mat for the shower or hand towel for sink area. Our friends room did not have any drinking glasses, there weren’t an ice bucket in either room. Upon arrival each room were supposed to receive a voucher for 2 free drinks. They ran out of vouchers so no free drinks for either room- but we had to pay $37.50 each room for that amenity. The front desk could have walked the 10 feet to the bar to let the bartender know. Website says valet parking is $55, it’s $67.50. Hotel is conveniently located near the Kaseya Center, 5 minute walk & Bayside

- Tara (2/5): - This was an awful experience.. No guest service whatsoever, Valet parking isn’t a thing. They charged me 75 dollars a day, to walk to park my car, and walk to go pick it up, calling it valet. I checked out after the first night. Staff is completely dismissive and condescending

- Jessica (8/5): - Very modern. We enjoyed the roof-top pool deck. We stayed 2 separate nights due to our cruise. The first room had A/C issues. It was not cooling. So, we were allowed to move into another room, which was better. Overall, we had a nice stay and I plan to stay here again. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

No ice bucket or cups. Sink in the middle of the room. It sucked and had the nerve to charge resort charges. This place was the worse place I’ve ever been to

However, our room was extremely small which affected my level of comfort. The mini refrigerator had a fishy smell, the floor smelt as if it were mopped with a sour/dirty mop, and the sink was clogged causing it to drain slowly.

- Nakia (8/5): Great stay - The staff at Yotel Miami was very kind and helpful. We arrived late and asked for the extended check out. It was given to us for free. We ate dinner as well there and the food was really good. The staff that took our orders was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Over all our stay was really nice and will be staying again in October.

- Carl (2/5): - Terrible experience. The so-called ‘bed’ is actually a low-quality sofa bed, impossible to get any rest. Parking access is a complete nightmare: way too far from the hotel and extremely inconvenient. On top of that, the housekeeping staff is extremely loud, making it impossible to relax at any time of the day. To make things even worse, after 11 PM you have no access to drinking water inside the hotel; if you’re thirsty, you’re forced to walk to a CVS across the street, about 5 minutes away, putting yourself at risk at that hour. I will never return and I do not recommend anyone to stay here.

- matthew (2/5): Awful, disappointing and extremely uncomfortable. - We left. Still waiting for full refund as indicated from escalation team member. Manager is an aggressive liar. The parking on website for $25 is not available. Manager saud its because hotel corporate is in Europe and it takes time to update prices on website. Room was dirty. Carpets were filthy. Bathroom had no privacy and in middle of room with glass as walls. How can anyone use that bathroom comfortably. The location was awful. Dirty dirty dirty.

- Raynol (8/5): Best front desk staff - I was unfortunately delayed and needed to book a hotel at 2 am. Tired and frustrated Bryson at the front desk was the coolest guy you could meet at that time. He calmly listened to the situation and booked me into a room at that point without delay.
- Irene (6/5): - I gave this hotel a 3-star because they charged me an incidental fee three times and charged me for my room when I checked in, even though I had paid in full online when I booked the room. They did not return my money until I involved my bank. It took them three weeks to return all of my funds. The hotel itself is good (the rooms), although I feel the lobby was overcrowded because it's small and they have check-in, a bar, and restaurant all at the front. Just a lot going on. I won't stay at this hotel again, as their customer service and staff were not helpful at all and I don't trust them (financially).

- Richard (10/5): - I have to say that both my girlfriend and myself were very surprised by the hotel, I booked this hotel as like a last-minute thing and it exceeded both of our expectations. The staff was very nice. The location was a nice well kept property. The only thing I would change is maybe the bedding but almost everything else was comfortable. The shower I think was probably one of the highlights not only for the type of shower but the water pressure as well. We will definitely be back to this hotel to try one of the bigger rooms in the future
- Michelle (4/5): - Horrible experience during my stay. On the last day I moved the recliner of the bed and roaches came out. I called downstairs and they told me they can’t do much for me since there wasn’t any cleaning crew during that time (at night). He said the most he can do is get me a new room. He gave me the email to one of the managers, I sent an email attached with the picture of the pest and they have yet to get back to me. This not only shows how unprofessional these people are, but the lack of responsibility to meet people’s expectations. I paid for this stay, which makes it more frustrating. Yotel needs to do better for the people staying there!!
