• Juliane (8/5): Einfach aber sauber, landestypische Unterkunft abseits der touristischen Überladung! - Sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite und persönliche Betreuung bei allen Fragen, toller Gastgeber und gutes Personal! Die nahe gelegene Strasse war stark befahren, daher leider oft laut.

• kathleen (9/5): Homey cabins with an obliging host - We love staying in cabins at family run places like this. Our host Marcelo was terrific and helped us many times including last minute changes with the airline. We didn’t really cook but the kitchen had what you needed. The beds were comfortable. The Wi-Fi was sufficient but stronger in some rooms. We walked around the neighborhood and also to town. A supermarket is a couple of blocks away. It’s a bit far from town for walking.

• PAULO (10/5): - Fiquei apenas uma noite, mas pude sentir a tranquilidade, o silêncio e a hospitalidade do local. Marcelo muito prestativo nos proporcionou um desjejum surpreendente com croissants saborosos. Infelizmente ficamos sem energia nessa noite, passamos um pouco de calor, mas o bangalô muito aconchegante, limpo e confortável.
• Martha (9/5): Great stay, amazing people. - Marcelo was awesome and went out of his way to help us navigate Iguazu. He arranged transportation and took time to offer advice. The breakfasts were delivered to our room at whatever time we requested! Fantastic service!

• Jean (1/5): The worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had. - This was the worst accommodation experience I've ever had. The bedding had a sour smell and hair left behind, indicating a lack of proper cleaning. The shower pressure was extremely low, and the faucet was broken, requiring us to hold it manually. WiFi only worked out of my room.. It was clear the owner lacked confidence in the place; the air conditioning tripped the power, and with temperatures at 35 degrees, the room felt like a steam room. The owner explained that this happened frequently. When we needed transportation to the waterfall and asked about luggage storage, he offered a car at double the normal rate. When we declined, he expressed disbelief that hotels could store luggage for a few hours and insisted we take all our bags upon checkout. His impatience grew as we asked about local attractions, and he curtly questioned why we hadn't done our research beforehand. I deeply regret my hasty choice of this hotel, which caused my family so much distress. I understand the desire to earn more, but it should be reasonable. Most accommodation hosts are friendly; please choose wisely. I urge fellow travelers to thoroughly research lodging in Iquazu Falls, unless you want your scenic trip to turn into an unexpected adventure. • Glen (10/5): Nice stay off the beaten path that provided a nice base for our touring efforts. - The El Descanso cabins were exactly as advertised and what I expected. The stag were wonderful and very accommodating. Additionally, they helped arrange transportation as necessary. I highly recommend these quaint cabins for a nice getaway. Shower had a lot of hot water but pressure was lacking and the shower stall was rather small but it is a cabin.

Very small and very cheap poor quality ingredients The rooms were very small, the shower was very poor and the toilet smelled. The cabin was very dark and overall very uncomfortable.
