• Nancy (7/5): - It’s right next to historical sites and many restaurants and eateries. The mattress in one of the bedrooms is incredibly hard, I thought it was the box spring. We abandoned that bedroom entirely. Also the floor of the shower is very narrow and not flat, it became treacherous when showering.

Great communication with host. That maybe it is in a residential building and people may not like that due to gentrification in the area.

• Ziyang (10/5): Nice place to stay in Athens - The host was very proactive and let us know all the details about the apartment and key collection beforehand. He was very responsive for any questions. The apartment's location is perfect, with ~10 min walking distance to the Acropolis. The facilities are great, everything is available and especially love the kitchen. The rooms are spacious and the two balconies are lovely: one facing the streets and the other retreats you to a quite garden. Deadly smoking smells in the hall (not the fault of the owner though). The bath water heater capacity is limited. It is only sufficient for one person's need and have to heat for another ~0.5 hour at the interval.

• Gloria (9/5): Comfortable stay in fabulous location - The location was unparalleled, just minutes from the Acropolis and the museum. Plaka is a few steps away and there were many amazing restaurants within a few blocks. The unit was spacious and well appointed with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The washing machine was fantastic as were the treats available. Check in was easy and the instructions were helpful! The smell of smoke was nauseating in the lobby and common areas. The light in the outside hallway was out and it was never fixed. The door handle was loose but it still worked. For some reason the shower/tub leaked onto the floor. Also the bathtub was so slippery so having a non slip bath mat would have been helpful. There was also quite a bit of pigeon droppings on the outside of the light well that would be nice to be cleaned up but not sure if that’s possible or the responsibility of the building management.

We would definitely stay here ag - Perfect location and a big open apartment that was very comfortable with all the amenities we needed. We felt very safe in this location. Avis was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Absolutely nothing.
• Peter (10/5): - Large 2 bedroom apartment complete with full kitchen and laundry washer. Just one block from the Acropolis and 2-3 short blocks from the Akropoli Metro Station. Several convenience stores nearby as well as a many restaurants.
• Aaron (10/5): - Both Hector and Akis were very helpful and terrific about quick communication. Hector checked us in and was extremely patient and knowledgeable concerning good places to eat and drink in the Koukaki area close to the apartment. The apartment is perfectly situation for easy access to the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum as well as the Plaka and all other tourist areas of interest. The apartment itself is roomy, tidy and very comfortable with nice balconies off of the living room and both bedrooms. If I had one minor criticism, it would be that the WiFi is extremely slow so you may have problems if you are working remotely while on vacation. Hopefully the boys can get it upgraded but other than that, this is a great value and a perfect place to stay when visiting Athens.

The apartment is large, clean, and with great value for money. Mattresses are comfortable and kitchen is very well equipped. The shower head base was broken. Thus, we needed to hold it while we took a shower.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Very comfortable apartment in a super convenient area. Hector was an incredible host and super responsive. The apartment has high ceilings, decorative moldings, hardwood floors, and a curved stair case that give it loads of charm as do the two balconies. The one in the rear over looking a garden and covered by a huge fig tree was our favorite. It was as easy to stay here a week, or even longer, being only about 4 safe and very walkable blocks from grocery, restaurants, and even the Acropolis. Loved every minute of our stay and will definitely plan to return. The large fridge and washer were a huge bonus. Efharisto polí Hector and team Blue Ark Acropolis!
• Paul (8/5): Clean, quiet and comfortable stay in the center of Athens. - Very private studio in quiet area but still very close to Acropolis and other highlights of Athens. Clean studio and nice to have a few things for breakfast (tea, coffee, cereal) in the room present. The bathroom is a bit outdated and the shower is in the bath, which is very small and slippery. This is really a safety issue. Unfortunately the door of the apartment building was often left open, which felt a bit unsafe.

• Dinh (9/5): Large, clean and comfortable, ideally central appartment for family or friends to enjoy at best - This appartment is perfect for a group or family up to 5 people: clean, large, very comfortable, well equiped and quiet, with 2 large balconies to enjoy a cup of wines and watching people in the street. Mention to the self check-in which is more than easy with detailed instructions sent ahead.The location is ideally central, a couple of minutes walk from metro station Acropolis. It is more than easy to reach if you use public transportations to airport, for example. Special mention to host Hector who is extremely attentive to your comfort and contacting you regularly to make sure you are doing fine. The appartment is located in a rather upscale neighbourhood (villas private houses, and walk (Dionysiou s Aeropagitou) at foot of the Acropolis are right behind the building, 1 minute away). It is surrounded by all you need to make your stay even more enjoyable: popular or fine dining, wine bars, very good bakeries, cute cafés, nice places for breakfast, craft ice cream places, supermarkets...The area is very lively though absolutely not lousy, not spoiled yet by mass tourism nor noisy on evenings, Koukaki being one of the last residential areas at the foot of the Acropolis which still retains a neighbourhood life for locals and only secondly to demanding visitors. Every other place or area of interest (Plaka, Monastiriki, Psiri) is within walking distance, entrance to Acropolis or Acropolis Museum within 2 minutes walk. You are at the foot of the Acropolis and at the very center of Athens!. I highly recommend this appartment for group or family if they want to enjoy Athens in a relaxed and comfortable way. Nothing

The small lift is adequate for luggage to avoid carrying up the stairs to the second floor We had asked for a cot. It was not put up for us in our arrival and the bedding and mattress was missing. This was resolved promptly the next day but I always appreciate when the host takes care of this.

We had some problems getting the key as the owner was late and we had to wait a while. Hot water was also small issue as the heating shuts off after a while so to have a nice, warm shower in the morning someone had to get up early and turn it on.

The apartment has all you need for a great stay with tea, coffee and bread provided! Very thoughtful. So many great restaurants near by, a convenience store a few doors down. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again! Have recommended to friends as well - can't go wrong staying here!

Opposite the apartment is a petrol station unfortunately, but this is a very busy city so they have to be somewhere. The apartment has two good sized bedrooms, very comfortable beds, large lounge/dining area. Would definitely recommend this apartment, especially for the position

The info and recommendations he provides are so valuable, he was able to make a reservation for us prior to our arrival. The location was perfect for us, right around the corner from Acropolis, and many restaurants and shopping. The apartment is light and airy, comfy beds and a good shower. Highly recommended! Out of the hosts control, but we were woken by the neighbours very late (early hours) on Saturday. If you're a light sleeper bring ear plugs and you'll be fine!

• Williams (10/5): Very nice flat, in great location. - The flat is located in a great location, close to many of the most popular monuments. It is also close to the rental car offices and made the return of my car very easy. The flat has all of the modern appliances and good internet. The upstairs neighbor made noise in the early morning hours, it was not a lot of noise but enough to wake me several times around 3 AM. This is not under the control of the flat management, so I dont blame them.

The location is perfect especially if you are traveling with small children because everything is walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay. there was nothing to dislike about the property. There was a small problem on the last day with the shower rod in the bathroom but the host was very responsive and was going to take care of it before the next guests arrived.

Akis spent a lot of time with us to show us how to get around, where to eat, also to set up a driver to take us to the airport. He even left a bottle of wine for one of the guests, knowing she was celebrating her birthday. We was a very hospitable host.
• Rogelio (10/5): Elegant apartment next to the main monuments - We were very lucky finding this gem to stay in Athens. 3 minute of walking from Acropolis hill, in a very central but also safe asrea of the city. The host is the kindest you can find. Very close to the apartment is a private parking if you want to park your car.

The apartment is in walking distance to all major attractions. The cozy Koukaki area offers all the services a traveler would need and it felt safe. Despite its central location the apartment was very quiet The apartment was newly renovated, cozy, fresh and very clean. The kitchen had everything.There were also a microwave oven, water kettle and coffee machine. Even an iron. The bed gave a good night sleep and air conditioning got you smile. The wifi worked well. The apartment had two beautifull relaxing balconies with a table and chairs.

Many restaurants and bars are in the area, but also peace and quite to relax. The place is the best we have stayed the last 6 years we are travelling. And the host is top of the top.

Was always there to help when needed whether it be logistics (finding transport), directions to places, suggestions for places to eat/shop etc. The apartment had a perfect location as it was within walking distance of most of the tourist attractions in Athens and also within easy access to plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Apartment itself is very clean with excellent furnishing and appears to be maintained to a very high standard. Overall, had a very positive experience and would highly recommend it.

• r.vinicius (10/5): - The place was nice and clean, plenty of room for our family of four. The apt is modern and updated. We did not cook but we could have - everything was provided. The apt is 3 blocks away from a subway station and 2 from Acropolis- we had no trouble getting our suitcases to/from the apt. The host is very helpfull and he arrange a transfer for us with a great driver.
