La literie de la chambre est bonne Énormément de bruit la nuit venant de la rue (les fenêtres, même fermées, ne servent presqu’a rien), le divan lit est très inconfortable, le matelas est quasi inexistant et donc on sent les barres dans le dos

• Shannon (1/5): Unhygienic, poorly maintained accommodation with safety concerns and an unacceptable response. - Nothing. Avoid staying at these flats if you’re expecting the “deluxe” or “superior” standard advertised. We booked three apartments at 8 Star Street for a family weekend and unfortunately experienced multiple safety, cleanliness and maintenance issues across all units. The most concerning issue was a smoke alarm that appeared partially covered/obstructed, which is a serious fire safety concern. There was also visible mould in one of the bathrooms, broken fans, loose shower fittings, holes in the floor, flooding from broken shower doors, staining on ceilings and missing basic amenities throughout. Overall, the apartments felt unhygienic, poorly maintained and nowhere near the standard shown in the listing photos or description. Despite repeated requests, extra towels, bedding and tea towels were not delivered. Several advertised features were also misleading, including the “city views”. What was most disappointing was the response from the property management- they were not apologetic and only offered a 5% discount despite the number and seriousness of the issues raised. Would not stay here again and would strongly advise others to read reviews carefully before booking.

• Sammy (5/5): Cosy 1 bed apartment paddington - The location and the price were fantastic. They were fantastic to deal with. Its only a 6 minute walk from Paddington station and less to edgeware station so its very good place to be to visit London. The place was grubby, especially the bathroom and shower area, with lots of spots of mould and mildew. There was only 1 bowl and 2 pots one of which had food burnt onto and peeling on the inside. The appartement could do with a sweeping brush to clean as your there.

• Bee (4/5): Cheap but not much sleep - Simon was quick to respond. The apartment was clean. The sofa bed was broken, so it was difficult to use and uncomfortable. The bedding was inside the sofa but it was not easy to access. The location is just off a busy main road woth police sirens consyantly into the early hours! On the Saturday moning at 8 am, the path directly outside of the apartment was being dug up with a jackhammer!

• Natalie (5/5): - Location, and the space was ok for family. I asked repeatedly for appropriate and safe bedding for the cot. This was not provided. I am highly disappointed that over a 3 night stay no mattress was provided for our baby’s cot. I had to put pillows in the cot and this was not safe, so I had to keep putting him in the bed. I was told the issue would be sorted and bedding would be left and it was not. Had I have known there would not be safe bedding I would have brought our travel cot. It is not acceptable and I do not think we should have to pay full price. I would like booking.com to offer us some money back. See photo below- unsafe.

• Máté (7/5): Great opportunity for short stays in London - Amazing location! We were satisfied with the flat, it was comfortable for this short stay. The sofa in the living room was a bit dirty as well as the glasses in the kitchen. The neighbors living above are noisy. They woke us up early in the morning.

The kitchen is fully equipped. The beds are comfortable. The apartment is cozy and nice. Very good location to start a city tour, right from this area A little cool. There was air conditioning for hot days, but we had cold weather outside.

• Yesim Melissa (3/5): good location, awful apartment - Close to busses, metro stations and bus stations. They were so kind tonlet us in after 11pm. Lots of shops around to buy food etc. at later hours. Everything was in a bad condition. The showerhandle fell off, the floors are ripped open, the sheets were dirty, the matress was in bad shape. You have to tolerate this place, you can't really enjoy a stay there. The heater was uncontrollable and was on the whole time, heating up the apartment to a sauna. Had the windows open as much as possible. Upstairs neighbours were very loud.

A srác, aki ideadta a kulcsot, megváratott minket, ott beszélt a ház előtt telefonon valakivel. Nem volt kommunikatív, ideadta a kulcsot és lelépett. Nem tudtuk, hogy alagsori lakásról van szó, így eléggé sötét, eldugott helyen volt a lakás. Az ablakokon nem nagyon sütött be napfény. Ami a LEGROSSZABB, hogy a felettük lévő lakásból mindent hallani. A lépéseket, a szék mozgását, a zuhanyzást, mindent... Szóval az nagyon rossz és zavaró, hogy a fölszinti lakásból mindent is hallani...
• Khoi (10/5): Perfect and affordable accommodation in London. - Our 3-night stay was absolutely perfect - the house was very comfortable and cozy for our family of four. It is very well-furbished, the kitchen and bathroom are both well-equipped and the two (very strong!) radiators are much appreciated. The staff members (Sam and Simon) were very quick to respond to our questions and were extremely accommodating when we had to check out half an hour late. Overall a brilliant start to our family holiday in the UK. A bathmat in the bathroom and a cutting knife in the kitchen would have been appreciated, but absolutely was not a concern either way.

The flat had a washing machine which we need for clothes while we're working away from home for many weeks. The fridge was broken and unusable for the duration of our stay, which was a shame as we'd hoped to same on eating out as we were working away from home, BUT on our last night one was delivered and we received a slight refund for the inconvenience. I would book with them again.

• Léonie (2/5): En résumé, logement bruyant, sale, mal entretenu et mal présenté. Le voisin du dessus rend le séjour insupportable. Je - Dès l’arrivée, le ton est donné : une attente interminable avant que quelqu’un daigne venir nous ouvrir et nous présenter l’appartement. Aucun professionnalisme. Côté propreté, c’est clairement insuffisant. La vaisselle soi-disant propre et rangée était encore sale, avec des traces visibles, ce qui donne tout sauf confiance sur l’hygiène générale du logement. Et pour couronner le tout, de la moisissure bien visible au plafond de la salle de bain. Inacceptable. Mais le pire, et de très loin, c’est LE BRUIT DU VOISIN DU DESSUS. C’est un véritable cauchemar sonore. Il hurle, tape, cogne, on entend TOUS ses faits et gestes, comme s’il était dans la même pièce que nous. Impossible de se reposer, impossible de dormir, impossible de se détendre. Jour et nuit, le vacarme est constant. On vit littéralement au rythme de ses cris et de ses coups. C’est épuisant mentalement et totalement invivable. Si vous cherchez le calme, passez votre chemin : ici, c’est l’enfer acoustique. Le canapé convertible, censé servir de lit, est extrêmement inconfortable, on sent tout, impossible d’y passer une bonne nuit (quand le voisin le permet, ce qui est rare).

• Justin (1/5): Far from modern, this apartment was dirty and neglected, cheaply furnished, and poorly maintained. - Good location near multiple transit options. The apartment was in very poor condition. Almost everything was broken or dirty in some way. Walls were dirty with dead bugs and cobwebs. The provided bedding was horrible. Pillows were very thin and poor quality with blood and other stains on almost every one. Only two towels were provided for three guests. Only one of the three provided fans worked, and the apartment got VERY hot despite being on the lower level. We asked for another fan but were never provided with one. We woke up at 3am to water leaking out of a hole in the bedroom ceiling and pouring out of the bathroom light fixture. Floors were warped and squishy from the leaking ceiling. UPDATE: The host is claiming we didn't bring these issues up to them during our stay. This is completely false. We called them multiple times, incurring international dialing charges, to ask for more pillows (the ones provided were worse quality than I would expect from a prison) and a fan (which was never provided). Do not stay here!

Für den Preis war es schon etwas heruntergekommen. Der Boden war kaputt, die Klopapierhalterung abgebrochen und die Decke im Bad hat leicht geschimmelt.

• Denisa Adriana (1/5): Very disappointing, filthy apartment but staff tried to help - Only liked the stuff, they seemed to be helpful and communication with them was easy. We booked what was supposed to be a cozy apartment in Paddington, but the condition of the property was shocking. Filthy and poorly maintained. There were stains on the walls, doors, chairs, and one big stain on the sofa even on the bedsheets. Dust everywhere obviously not cleaned. The ceiling in the bedroom was damp, cupboards and kitchen items were stained, and the bathroom was honestly disgusting, floors black with dirt that couldn’t be cleaned and even hair inside the shower. It felt completely unclean and not suitable for staying, especially with a baby. I didn’t feel comfortable even sitting down in the apartment, couldn’t even imagine sleeping the in the bed no way! We had also ordered a baby cot well in advance and even reminded them to prepare it one day before arrival as they had requested, yet when we arrived in the evening there was no cot ready and we had to wait. I immediately contacted the property reception. To their credit, they responded quickly and did try to help us, but there were very few alternatives available because it was a weekend and everything booked out. Eventually they managed to move us to another property. The new apartment wasn’t ideal, it was much cleaner and nicer but very smaller, only a studio, on the 4th floor with no lift, which was very inconvenient with a baby and stroller. It was also about 10 minutes away from the original location. Not ideal but we would have moved anywhere just not to stay in the original apartment. Overall, I really appreciate the staff for trying to resolve the situation, they were very helpful and understanding even helped us to move our stuff, carry up our luggage into the new studio, but the fact that the first apartment was in such an unacceptable condition is inexcusable. It was a disappointing experience especially after exhausting travelling since early morning and coming to London only for a weekend.

However whilst we were out the door lock was changed without us being informed meaning contractors entered the property without our permission. Furthermore we arrived back at the flat at midnight to find no longer accessed by key we had been provided but with keypad, the number for which was not provided. Brudna łazienka z grzybami na ścianie . Kontakt z agencją tylko , brak właściciela . Cena jest za wysoka w stosunku do jakości i serwisu.

• Walid (5/5): They used the wide angle lens for sure! - I LOVED the location, you are in a very Arab type of neighborhood which is lively, stays open late, lots of shops, and right outside of that there are many other excellent areas. You're VERY central. You are a very short walk to little shops and the tube! The area is relatively safe. It was not clean, they were frugal with everything, mold in the bathroom, dirty apt, 1 towel per guest for 5 days, cheap on things that make a kitchen usable. We're traveling, give us a little oil or salt/pepper pls. Just be kinder to your traveling guests who don't want to come and buy a whole kitchen's worth of supplies to make a few meals. Give us more than 1 towel each, who cares if you need to wash a few more towels. Please use a lens that accurately describes what we're getting, don't fool us to think it's a larger space than it really is. The bathroom mold, loose tiles were upsetting. It was really transactional, didn't feel like you were renting a home and felt a little dishonest.
• Helen (7/5): Overall excellent service and communication with the owner/manager - The apartment was centrally located near the Paddington with amenities, transportation easily accessible. Too much noise from the street and upper apartment
• Nirvair (7/5): Lovely stay - good central location too! - It was a good location, around 9 min walk from Paddington Station. Was also easy to contact the property too. All amenities were new-ish too. The living room was smaller than how it looked in the image, not as suitable for a family of 4. Because the apartment is downstairs, it also got a bit stuffy.
• Megan (7/5): Comfortable enough stay convenient location. - Property was nice enough. Got exactly what you need and comfortable. At check in, we were told towels would be brought to us as they were not ready yet. We attending BST in Hyde park in 30 degrees so we were very disappointed to see no towels when we arrived back that we couldn’t shower after a hot day! And the fan provided was broken as well, so it was extremely warm inside.
• Amber (5/5): Not bad but a bit disappointing. - Great location, close to Hyde Park and Paddington, staff were helpful and friendly. Not particularly clean, weak water pressure, no fans provided on one of the hottest days of the year and no AC. Very expensive for how small it was & how outdated the facilities were.
