Guest Reviews
- Daniel (10/5): - Comfortable and quiet room.
Close to Metro and in an interesting part of town
- Tamara (10/5): - We loved this hotel! The room was updated and modern. The hotel has a lovely boutique feel, with very easy check in and out. Quick walk to the metro with direct line to the airport. The staff was friendly and the restaurant on the ground floor was delicious. 10 minute walk to Notre Dame. Overall we were very happy.
- Kathlyn (8/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff. Cozy room
- Madeleine (8/5): - Room was clean and quiet. The reception staff were efficient.
- Donald (10/5): - Great location, wonderful staff, comfortable bed and great breakfast!
- Leonard (10/5): - I had an amazing experience at this hotel during my visit to Paris. The room was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable, creating a cozy and stylish atmosphere. The location was perfect—just a short walk to major attractions and only steps away from the Metro, which made exploring the city incredibly easy.
The staff were outstanding. Everyone I encountered was kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, always ready to offer directions or recommendations with a smile. Their attentiveness made my stay even more enjoyable.
If you’re looking for a hotel that combines comfort, convenience, and top-notch service, I highly recommend this place. It’s the ideal home base for discovering all that Paris has to offer!
- Jennifer (10/5): - My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The location is very walkable to all the major sights and many restaurants and bars close by. The room & hotel were very clean and had all the amenities you might need. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. Good coffee, amazing quiche & croissants among other things. It cost us about 44 Euros to take a car service to the hotel from CDG airport (used the bolt app). Would highly recommend a stay here!
- Denise Carr (10/5): - Great hotel in a lively safe area. Beautiful rooms with a small balcony. Would return for sure!
- Randy (8/5): - The room was very well decorated and extremely quiet. Breakfast wasn't great, but sufficient. Taxi can only get you close, then you have to walk a couple blocks to the hotel. Westfield shopping mall and metro station just around the corner.
- Christopher (8/5): - Super cute hotel with great rooms and views! Great location in Paris!
- Amanda (10/5): - Very convenient as a home base while in Paris.
- Sherri (8/5): - I liked this hotel for the restaurant and if you like being in the center of things that is what you got. My room was so so small you could hardly move around and there was a window from the bathroom looking into the room, so if you are staying with another person make sure you have no secrets or you won’t after this trip. My husband and I would kill each other in this room, luckily I was traveling alone. At the least the downstairs is very nice. My kid and I could barely both fit in my room together.
- Tyler (10/5): - Friendly staff, clean hotel, fun design, great location
- Gerard (10/5): overnight in Paris - Nice little hotel, close to transport and central in Marais. Decoration is nice and homely and room is in good condition. Was a nice stay.
- William (10/5): - Great hotel in a fantastic area of Paris. Our room was absolutely amazing and our experience fantastic!
- Salvatore (10/5): - The property is located in an excellent spot for tourists. Josephine at the front desk was extremely helpful.
- Pei-Fen (10/5): - Everything is excellent
- Michelle (4/5): - The staff are very nice and friendly. The bar staff make the most amazing cocktails. The room was adequate and clean - but the decor and mattress could use a refresh.
I did not like the area at all - as there seemed to be vagrants and it was across from a sex toy shop and 2 doors from some type of shelter or soup kitchen for those in need. My last night, however, greatly affected my stay at this property. I do not recommend staying here as a single female traveler. I was stalked by a man who began following me about 15-20 yards from the hotel, as I was returning for the day. After returning, I sat in the outdoor bar area, and he entered the hotel (on the pretense of seeking directions (I later learned). He left but came back and accosted me while I was in the outdoor bar area and I immediately left to alert the staff. When I related that a man had been following me and he was now in the bar outdoor area - they went to check, but he had fled. I stayed inside after that but I saw this man again walking in front of the hotel. It occurred to me that he could have walked in and gotten in the elevator with or without me as there is no security in that regard. I did not sleep all night - it was very upsetting. Also, my room was one floor above street level and noisy until 3 a.m. Because of what had happened, the manager escorted me to my Uber the next a.m., which I greatly appreciated. I have never stayed in a hotel where I felt my safety was at risk by a stalker.
- Kathleen (10/5): - The hotel and staff were lovely. The location was great and service was very friendly. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was quiet for sleeping. We enjoyed our stay very much.
- Bonnie (10/5): - We loved our stay at the dandy, and will definitely come back! Great location and wonderful room!
- Caroline (10/5): - Loved it! Located in a more popular touristy area but it was quiet and a convenient stay. Would stay again and would recommend to others.
- AnnMarie (10/5): - Great hôtel. Convenient to all. Staff were friendly ans helpful.
- Stephanie (10/5): - Beautiful hotel, in a great location. Not quiet when you’re out on the street, but did not hear any noise from the room. Excellent restaurant on site and very close to lots of main Paris sites. Would recommend!
- Yonathan (10/5): - Great little hotel with wind Parisian vibe and good value. Would love to stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!
- Manoel (10/5): - Excellent stay! Friendly staff, nice rooms, good location… would definitely go back.
- Eleanor (10/5): - We loved our stay at Dandy Hotel. We booked a deluxe room and it was so spacious and exceeded all of our expectations. The bed was SO comfy and we’d definitely stay again.
- Keith (10/5): - Hotel Decor and amenities were excellent. Room was super comfy and accessible with all the comforts of home. Easy walking to many area sites and dining and shopping. Delicious breakfast with many options. Lovely bar and kitchen. Staff at the hotel were always knowledgeable, helpful and courteous, especially to our English speaking group. Highly recommend.
- Sheila (8/5): - Friendly staff
- Michael (10/5): - Great experience
- Bo (8/5): - Overall, it was good.
- Wei Pheng (6/5): - Our room was clean, and quiet. Located is very nice and convenient. Our biggest issue was the air-conditioner was not working, out of 3 nights we stayed, 2 nights the air con was not working as it should. We can't sleep properly and woke up at night in sweat - it was too hot. Also, after cleaning the room, the cleaner took our room card and also the wine glasses from the room without replacing them. Hence, we need to contact the reception to have them back. Minor inconveniences that can be avoided.
- David (10/5): Dandy stay at Hotel Dandy - Great location and comfortable. We were only in Paris for 2 nights, so this was perfect for our interests.
- Patrick (6/5): - Property was in great condition. Mattress was a little hard for my liking, but was in a very central and easy to walk to numerous sites.
- Thu Ngan (10/5): - Cute pretty room. Nice staff. Good location.
- Simon (8/5): Nice n Dandy - Great location in the bustling heart of the city, however, our room was always quiet and away from the noise and excitement outside!
- frank (10/5): - Fantastic little hotel, close enough to transit and lots of food, sites
- Jim (10/5): - Super fun, lively vibe. Close to everything. Extremely attentive, helpful staff. Lots of amenities. Great breakfast. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
- Bernice (6/5): - Sex hotel next door
- Gary (10/5): - Excellent location to shopping and dining options. My room had a modern bathroom design and great shower.
- LUK CHUNG (10/5): - Staff were nice and helpful, the room was also spacious for us to stay. The breakfast and foods were incredible’
- Chase (8/5): - Staff was very friendly and helpful
- Catherine Mary (10/5): we would recommend :) - super stay in great location and extremely helpful staff
- Geri (10/5): - Amazing hotel in a great location for sightseeing. The hotel was immaculately clean, breakfast was great and staff were all very helpful.
- Yuliya (10/5): - Great location!!! Walkable distance to every major attraction. Good breakfast. Very comfortable bed. Friendly staff.
- Lisa (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay very much! All the staff was wonderful!
- Christopher (8/5): - Fantastic hotel staff! Although hotel location is conveniently located close to attractions and public transit, the street is very busy and a little seedy. The room was exactly what I was looking for, clean, large, and very quiet.
- Tara (10/5): - Great stay and spacious, clean rooms!
- phillip (2/5): - very noisy. tiny rooms. you have to walk through a restarant each day to get to the hotel. its awful, i would never stay there again.
- Olivia (10/5): - Great hotel and location for exploring Paris
- Richard (10/5): - My wife and I had a 2 night stay. The staff was always courteous and friendly; the area had easy access to everything. We walked to Louvre; the Bisilica of Sacre Coeur and even the Eiffel Tower. Very safe and clean. The rooms were updated and very modern. Breakfast had a wide selection. I would definitely visit again.
- Jennifer (4/5): - First the hotel is beautiful, newly decorated, clean and the staff is very nice and helpful. Downfalls are- Uber cannot drop off in front so you have to walk a bit in crowded shopping area with luggage to get to hotel. There is a shop across the small street that sales adult items (the review is censored me saying what it really is). You have a front row view of its window of merchandise and its patrons from the bar and outdoor cafe seating. Directly next door is a “love” hotel. They advertise this is a place to film adult movies and rent room by the hour. Although this hotel is nice but for the price we would never return due to the neighborhood! If we knew this I wouldn’t have rented. Wish I would have read reviews better. Plenty of better places to stay. I’m surprised the reviews are so high.
- Matthew (8/5): - Enjoyed my stay
- Paul (10/5): - Had a nice stay
- Nataliya (8/5): - Very convenient location and close to everything. 4 stars for chef being late and breakfast was delayed by 30 minutes at least.
- Olga (10/5): - This is my second stay at the Dandy hotel. The hotel is well located with major attractions like the Louvre and Notre Dame within walking distance. Around the hotel there are plenty of restaurants in addition to large shopping centre.
Like last time, we enjoyed every bit of the stay. The prestige room was spacious, well decorated and incredibly comfortable which made leaving on the day of check out hard.
There was an issue with my bill upon leaving the hotel, but nothing that a conversation and helpful staff couldn’t sort out - thank you.
- Michelle (10/5): - Lovely hotel in a central location...perfect size for myself and my daughter's trip.
- Gregory (10/5): - I had a great time at this property! They staff was very helpful, and made accommodations to hold our luggage after check out so we could enjoy our day before leaving for your flights. It was a quick 20min walk from the train station to the inn. I would consider staying here again when traveling abroad!
- Isela (6/5): - Inside the hotel is very nice, friendly staff. Room is very stylish. Noise at night is loud so just be aware if your a light sleeper. Not located in the best area.
- Richard (8/5): - Great location and a very fun hotel in a great location, pre-charge to cover the mini bar way too high.
- Ivelise (10/5): - Good location and nice stay. I would recommend it.
- lei (10/5): - The location is excellent, close to metro stations and walkable to many places. The buffet breakfast is superb.
- Shaina (10/5): - This a cute boutique hotel. The staff were so nice and accommodating. I personally like the area wasn’t too “touristy”. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. Highly recommend
- Cindy (10/5): - Pretty hotel, great central location and really good breakfast
- Victoria Kay (10/5): - Staff very helpful and welcoming.
- Kimberly (2/5): - My first impression of Dandy Hotel was exactly what I could have hoped for. It is quirky, unique, and aesthetic. Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel negatively impacted my entire vacation. After my first night, I woke up with what seemed like a rash on various parts of my body. By evening, it became evident that these were, indeed, bug bites. The front desk was unphased by my pictures and moved me to a smaller room. Despite the move, I spent the evening in a panic, unsure of how to proceed with this situation. I decided to give the new room a chance and thankfully did not receive any new bites for the duration of my trip. However, this did not decrease my anxiety during the rest of my stay. I was terrified of leaving my clothes and luggage near furniture or walls and felt uncomfortable in the bed, resulting in a lack of sleep. Despite having a notably smaller room (no balcony, no powder room, on the ground floor), I was assured it was the same as the first. Returning home was even more of a nightmare due to the numerous precautions I needed to take. After a doctor's visit confirming the bed bug bites, I contacted Expedia for compensation. They informed me the hotel refused. Expedia offered me a measly one night's worth of credit, after having to contact customer service on 5 different occasions. The hotel eventually reached out to me 3 months later with a screenshot of an email from Expedia, reiterating their lack of accountability.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Leftovers were served at breakfast - Breakfast was included in our booking. The same cake was brought out everyday we were there. I suspect the same cheeses and other foods were also re- served. The food was left open for many hours and the exact same food (i dont mean same kind of food, i mean the same piece of food) was pffered for breakfast everyday. This was the only aspect of my stay that i disliked.
- Monique (10/5): - I enjoyed our stay although I paid for a room with a balcony and didn’t receive it.
- Ess (8/5): - It was a wonderful hotel!
- Kristina (10/5): - We had a great experience. It was a wonderful location. The rooms were clean and comfortable. A little noisy outside but still worth it.
- Gail (10/5): - Wonderful stay. Everyone was friendly and the room was so nice.
- Hunter (8/5): - Dandy Hotel is situated on Rue Denis, about 2 kilometers from Gare Du Nord. It is within walking distance to the Louvre museum, but other attractions like the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe are further away. It's not in the prettiest of locations, but overall it's a good hotel. Food is delicious and employees are very helpful. Rooms are comfortable albeit on the smaller side. I enjoyed my stay, but it's overpriced in my opinion.
- Gigi (10/5): - Breakfast selection is basic but was included in the overall price. Great location. Staff were great and rooms were clean. I highly recommend this chic little boutique hotel!
- Kate (10/5): - Lovely small hotel. Nicely located on a pedestrian street. Easy walk to Marais. Very comfortable bed!!
- Jon (10/5): Thank you Dandy - The room size was great, bed and pillows, very comfortable, service was great as well. I highly recommended.
- Keith (10/5): - Beautiful room and common areas at Dandy hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location.
- Terrence (10/5): - Staff was very helpful in getting me tickets to Moulin Rouge last minute - I don’t recall the woman’s name but thank you so much !!!
Great hotel for what you pay - right where you want to be in Paris…
- annabelle (10/5): Cute and charming - Location, location , location! This hotel was that. It was in such a great spot near so many little restaurants. The hotel isn’t what I would conceder fancy but has definite charm. It’s visually cute and the rooms were comfortable. We had a queen bed plus twin room and we felt it was roomy enough. It was simple though , like most hotels that have AC and bottled water they did not. That’s not a deal breaker for me but for some simple things like that can throw them into a fit. Down stairs they have a great area for breakfast and a coffee machine that cab make coffees. The staff was very an accommodating and friendly. They booked out taxies for the airport with great company’s . The day we arrived I was dealing with a terrible migraine and they even managed to get us in our room an hour early which was very curious. I would absolutely stay here again!
- Nasreen (10/5): - Beautiful hotel. So clean. Staff were all lovely. Breakfast very nice. Would highly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel.
- Waylon (8/5): - Staff waa extremely friendly and helpful! All spoke English. Would definitely stay here again!!
- Amanda (8/5): Cute, clean - The hotel is very unique and clean. Located close to Metro. We enjoyed the complementary breakfast which had a good variety of choices. The sauna was nice and clean. The bed comfortable. I read reviews that the wi-fi was poor in the room, this was true. I had to go to the lobby to have wi-fi stable connection. It was very inconsistent in the room. The windows are older so you will hear street noise all night long. If you are a light sleeper it can be a problem.
- Evie (8/5): - Good location but feels like it’s on a dodgy road.
- Emily (10/5): - Great hotel in a desirable area of the city. Lots of walkable restaurants and wine bars and very accessible transit to go to attractions such as the Eiffel tour and museums. We opted for the superior room for a bit of extra space which was equipped with a king size bed and enough space for 2 people with luggage. It was clean and comfortable. Excellent service by the hotel staff including providing us with a US to EU converter for electronics. We did not access the spa as it was a bit pricey for time in the jacuzzi in my opinion. Would definitely recommend this location to friends travelling to Paris in the future.
- Betsy (10/5): - We had a fabulous stay at the Dandy! The decor and ambiance was wonderful, fabulous service, and great food! Walking distance to so many sites and shops (and food!) I would recommend to anyone. Thank you for a memorable experience. Merci a tous!
- Kimberly (10/5): - Had a great stay at Dandy!
- Myreen (10/5): - The hotel location was great. Very close to Les Halles which has the Tran that goes strain to and from Charles de Gaulle Airport. Lots of shopping and dinning options around the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. They also offer a sauna which I used once and it was a great way to relax after all the walking.
- Giles (10/5): - Superb property. Right in the heart of central Paris. The RER from Gare Du Nord to Châtelet - Les Halles is 5 minutes - all super easy. Requested a quiet room and was given a lovely room at rear of property - perfect nights sleep. You expect small rooms in Paris but our entry level room was bigger than anticipated. For the price point it is designed impeccably and the staff are super professional and welcoming. Would visit again and highly recommend.
- Igal (10/5): Wonderful stay for Xmas - We had a wonderful stay at the Dandy Hotel! The staff was welcoming and ensured our stay was pleasant. The location was great, close to many bars and restaurants with easy access to the metro. Will definitely go back!
- Charlotte (8/5): - Great hotel with clean and stylish rooms, with good service. However, it was a little let down by the breakfast starting ~20 mins late and staff being particularly unhelpful after we informed them beforehand that we needed a swift checkout. Would definitely stay here again, but not when on a tight schedule!
- Yoga (10/5): - Great location within 2 minutes walk to station
- Robin (10/5): - We absolutely loved this hotel. It was very easy to access via walking and easy accessibility to the metro and for Ubers. The best part of our stay was the staff!!! They were so incredibly friendly and helpful! Our room was so quaint and beautifully decorated. I would totally recommend this hotel!
- Chris (10/5): - Nice hotel. Rooms are small but more than functional as a base to explore Paris. Really handy for the train direct to/from the airport.
Staff are very friendly. One thing though I had a skylight in my room that had no curtain on!! It was fine for me as I was visiting in October (dark mornings) and up early for business meetings but I wouldnt want that room in the summer (it was room 113 from memory!!) I have stayed in this hotel before and my other room didnt have a skylight.
Great location to visit all the sites and lots of restaurant options all in walking distance.
- Ahmad (10/5): - The property was super clean and at the front Desk Aisha was super nice very helpful she helped us a lot thank you Aisha
- Carlotta (10/5): - Staff were very professional yet friendly.
- Gary (10/5): - Great location and very friendly staff. It took me about 45 mins to walk to the Eiffel Tower. Lots of brasseries around and the restaurant at the hotel is very tasty.
- Miae (10/5): - Great
- Stuart (10/5): - Great location in the heart of the Rue Saint Denis entertainment area. Lovely hotel, great restaurant and wonderful staff.
- kathryn (10/5): - This hotel was great and reasonably priced. The location was close to the metro, walkable to the Louvre (easy) and the Eiffel Tower (a good long walk!). Great breakfast. The room was smaller than expected but still nice. I would definitely recommend.
- Giulia (8/5): - The Dandy hotel is a very sweet hotel in a great walkable area. It was perfect for all of our needs. The hotel has a restaurant inside which makes it easy for breakfast or dinner. The area is very central and easy to get around to the places you want to experience. The hotel also has a sauna which is free to use and a lovely feature which we used every day we were there. The rooms are small however we found it to be very comfortable and lovely. We would definitely recommend staying at this hotel!
- Delbar (10/5): - Great customer service . Very clean.
- Aaron (10/5): True Gem - From friendliness to professionalism they are truly worth the stay! 100% satisfied!
Located in a convenient location for shopping and food this place is a true gem.
