Guest Reviews
- Penelope (10/5): - Beautiful location, easy to get about without getting back in the car. One of the most iconic views in the world. 0
- Philip (8/5): -
- siegrid (8/5): Globalement satisfaisant - Le quartier, résidentiel, très agréable. Appartement fonctionnel. Vue exceptionnelle. La desserte du Ferry / Bus juste en bas de la résidence, super pratique. Accueil avec petites attentions très appréciable. Personnel très serviable et réactif pour toute demande via le site. Immeuble et appartement assez ancien, certaines installations sont très usagées. Insonorisation parfois insuffisante. Coffre hors d'usage
- April (8/5): Fabulous view, the best in Sydney. Near ferry - No breakfast but lovely chocolates. Everything was fine.
- Juan (5/5): Bed was good. Views were great. Would have been better with clean windows. Needs a new Kettle. - Location, views and bed.
Location is good but remember you need to rely on public transport. But it is a nice experience.
Uber to and from airport, +- AU$50.
Uber to the city AU$35-45.
Ferry = $7.50 one way per person.
Bus is about $2 - $3 to Sydney north metro station.
Metro $3 to the city and the metro takes about 8min.
I love this spot because it is quite. I did not like the registration process.
I book via bookings.com to keep my identification secure and do not want to send my identification to another site I do not know. You need to take a picture of every guest and upload it to a site jinsky holdings.
I could not cancel due to privacy reasons and I was immediately informed that if I try to do so, I will lose all money paid. ("It's in our policy") Make sure you read all T&C before booking.
Someone on the floor smoked like a diesel train and the entire floor smelled of harsh smoke. So much so that If you leave the elevator you need to hold your breath till you get to the room.
A new or clean kettle is needed in the room. I fixed you ironing board ("You welcome")
I also recommend the host either tell guests to bring pool towels or supply them with towels. I Had to use the limited supply of bathroom towels. I also don't want to keep on texting for towels.
The windows are in desperate need of cleaning. Carpet was dirty might need a wash.

- Prue (9/5): Excellent Location and views and relaxing place to stay with easy access to city and transport. - Stunning view right across the Sydney Harbour Bridge to the Opera house from every window. And location was excellent with a ferry stop right outside the door and buses next to the ferry stop. Some nice restaurants and a grocer within a 15min walk, if you don’t like the uphill walk Then you can catch the bus. There are some lovely walks around the bays nearby. It was nice to escape from the inner city to a relaxed atmosphere each evening.Host was available online and checked in regularly to make everything was ok and returned messages promptly. Basic but comfortable,
- Cindy (10/5): Exceptional - The location and the view is as good as it gets!
- James (10/5): fantastic location with one of the best views of the city. Highly recommend it.. - Exceptional view of the Sydney waterfront and Opera House. I couldn’t imagine a better one.Free parking and an exceptionally good location with a one minute walk to the local ferry terminal which connects you to all the major transportation hubs in Sydney. they were currently putting in a new elevator (one out of two), so construction supplies, and cardboard and plastic on the carpeting in the lobby, but not a big deal.
- Renee (9/5): Superb - Great location! Stunning views. Clean and comfortable apartment. Was a little hot in the summer heat with minimal cooling (ceiling fan).
- Rebecca (10/5): Best views, easy access to transport, very clean . - Best view of Sydney bridge, opera house, city and Luna park . Incredible location with the ferry a minute away, Wendy’s secret garden a short walk but worth it . Great communication from owner. Nothing
- Patrick (9/5): Great location- brilliant view - Brilliant location - easy to catch the ferry to town. The lift were being refitted but no big deal.
- Woodwell (10/5): Glorious harbour views - The location is fabulous. Parking is good.
The pool was lovely.
We had a great view of the harbour for Australia Day celebrations. There was only 1 lift working and wires were exposed which seemed a bit dangerous.
- Adrienne (10/5): Where is the world can you lie in bed and watch the sunrise over the Sydney Harbour Bridge? - The location is exceptional for viewing the new year's eve fireworks over Sydney Harbour Bridge. We were given wrist bands for new years eve, so there were no crowds on the waters edge of the property and access was restricted by security. The building is right next to the McMahons Point ferry dock with an easy walk to wheel your suitcases to the building. The walk up to Blues Point Road was via a series of stairs right next to the building and quite a hilly walk. There you will find a small grocery store and bottle shop as well as restaurants. The kitchen was adequately equipped for all our needs and we were even given a complementary set of wine glasses, champagne, wine and chocolates on arrival. Thank you for that! If you leave the kitchen window open, you will have Rainbow Lorikeets coming to visit you to steal the sugar! Quite entertaining! The bathroom was a bit tight, but hey the view more than makes up for it! A fresh set of towels half way through our 7 day stay would have been welcomed.
- Tomasz (8/5): Great location to visit the city - Great location, easy to get to the city. Amazing view. Cheap and dated decor, stains on the furniture and bumps on the wall that were never fixed, etc. Feels completely heartless.
- Ian (8/5): Excellent the same as every other time we have stayed there - Breakfast N/A
Location unbeatable Lift upgrades obviously essential but annoyingly intrusive
- Helena (10/5): Fantastic weekend - Sensational views, well equipped and within walking distance to ferry, train and North Sydney shopping mall. Host was friendly and easy to reach. Nothing negative
- Windsor (10/5): Magical view worth the price tag - I was very happy to stay at the Harbourside, all 5 stars but the location was the best part.
- Theodore (8/5): Very good -
- Brian (2/5): Beautiful view but very happy to leave - Fabulous harbour views but filthy apartment that stank of fish. Bathroom tiny. Advertised as having a washing macine and tumble dryer 8n the apartment. Had to go to a different floor and pay for the laundry Apartment grubby. Host disinterested. Communication poor. Misadvertising on amenties
- Jennifer (8/5): We love the location because of the fantastic view and the access to the ferries. - Location fantastic - that is the key reason we like to stay at Harbourside.
Parking is easy.
Access to ferries .
Lots of places to walk. For the money we were paying, I would expect nicer crockery.
There were plain white unmatching plates and bowls with a chipped plate. Very cheap cutlery.
I have a BnB and I know it does not cost much to get a bright, cheery dinner set from places like Victoria's Basement.
Also it is disappointing that there is no table to sit at to eat dinner.
Just a small round table for 2 would be good.
Otherwise of course the view is fantastic, and the location is great.
- Dawn (9/5): Stunning - location was magical. We had a problem with one of our bath towels & the host was super fast to rectify the problem. Very impressed. That we were there for only 4 nights.
- Sion (10/5): Exceptional - The room was perfect! And the communication from the owner was fantastic!
- Sienna (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (10/5): Second stay and as before it was just wonderful! - The location and the view absolutely nothing!!
- Paul (9/5): We’ve stayed here many times and will be back again - Best location in Sydney for Bridge and Opera House views. Excellent transport facilities (ferry and bus) at driveway of property. Close enough to walk to North Sydney for shopping (it is hilly though). Nothing
- Lynn (7/5): Good -
