- Jens (10/5): - I was there for business and stayed two weeks. Positives were that the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was roomy. There was a sofa bed in the room but it was a bit cramped. The room also faced the square and was affected by music coming from the square till around 11pm every night. Rove Expo City is in Dubai Expo City, which is around 30 minutes from Dubai city either by public transport or car, and there really isn’t much to do in the area in the evenings

- Dorian (8/5): Nice hotel but did not give VIP access privileges - I booked this room for my parents, with a VIP access from Hotels.com which entitled them to a free upgrade if available and a free beverage per person per stay. They checked-in right when the check-in opened (guaranteeing the greatest availability of rooms, supposedly) and got allocated a room with a backyard/no view. They had to insist in order to get one of the numerous rooms that has a view over the EXPO dome (which was the purpose of staying in this hotel in the first place). They also had to ask in order to get their free beverage. Overall I am a little disappointed that they had to "fight" in order to get some things that should have come easily and naturally. They come from far and decide of all the hotels in Dubai, to stay in the one in EXPO, to have a view on the backstreet? I am thankful the hotel eventually supported them and corrected the mistake, but it did not feel quite VIP...

The work force were really wonderful and especially the manager and staff at the hotel's 'all you can eat buffet'. Also a big shout out to the guy who served the ice-cream - he was a lot of fun!

Comfortable bed, nice pool with view on Al Wasl dome, fantastic breakfast, youthful polite staff. We also enjoyed playing ping pong in the lounge.

- Mui (10/5): - Easy commute with the metro.. then there’s a free golf cart shuttle taking you to and from the metro to Rove. Expo 2020 area is new and clean! Less populated then rest of Dubai makes for a peaceful journey. Staff was wonderful and very accommodating. Noise from the Dome didn’t bother us much as we were out touring till late in the evenings.

- Chen (6/5): - Inside Expo park is the advantage. Hotel itself is over priced because of the event. The interior design is simple. Only one restaurant located at ground floor and food is OK. The top floor swimming pool is nice.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Avoid it - They Lie. - They will steal from you. Stay away. We arrived early, and they had our room ready but the front desk person told us we had to pay extra to get it, if not we had to wait for hours. I have an email from Anna stating that early check-ins are complimentary, and still, when I asked for a refund, they stopped responding. Also, the promised buggies to bring you in and take you to the exit and help with the luggage. They were "not" available both times we needed them. There was an employee who was always nice and helpful, Keennan. He is the only thing I can say that made my stay better. If you can, avoid this place.

- Andrew (10/5): Location location and excellent lifging - To stay on the site of a World's Fair is the best way to experience it. We had a great time in at be the Dubai World Expo over 5 days. Staying on the grounds at Rove Expo meant we could go to pavilions when they opened, stay out in the evening to enjoy music and night lights and be back in our room in a matter of minutes with no hassle.

- susan (10/5): - Hotel is right in the EXPO central plaza. From our room we could sit on our balcony and watch the light show and concerts in the dome up really close. Room service is excellent. Despite arriving at 10am, which is 6 hours early for check-in, Menna was extremely helpful and managed to let us into our room immediately. Staying here is a must if you visit EXPO - you can just wander in and out of the hotel to the exhibits - it's really quiet in the mornings with no queues.
