He was very helpful and took me to the room on the rop floor with big widows overlooking the Marmara. The Turkish breakfast spread was excellent. All staff are excellent! The staff gave good recommendations on food and best activities around. Even my taxi was arranged with fixed price! Top hospitality with happy tone. Thank you for having me.

Das Hotel liegt in einer Sackgasse und daher ist das parken hier ein schwieriges Thema (was in diesem Stadtteil aber ein grundsätzliches Thema ist) und kann daher für Selbstfahrer nicht empfohlen werden. Frühstück wird mit ausreichend Auswahl angeboten und alles hat geschmeckt.

The courtesy displayed by the staff, especially Enes and Dovlet in guiding us on food and locations as well as making bookings for us made our experience in Istanbul truly magical. I highly recommend this hotel for its location and hospitality and look forward to staying here on our next trip to Istanbul.

- Hector (8/5): - The Cape Palace Hotel is a good hotel overall, very conveniently located near the center of the "action" in Istanbul. It's only about 10-minute walk to the Hagia Sophia & Blue Mosques park area, and some 12-min. to the the Topkapi Palace museum. I was able to book some tours that picked me up and dropped me off very close to this hotel, given its central location. In addition, it's only two blocks from a busy street with lots of restaurants, all of which offered excellent meal choices! The downside of this hotel is that is the last property in a deadened street and the street is super narrow, so taxis had a hard time getting there and for buses it was next to impossible, so you have to walk to the corner (hauling your luggage) to be able to get on a bus. The property appears to be well maintained and clean, except for a few details here and there (I found a pair of dirty women's underwear in the bathroom from the previous guests, yuck!). Also, my (single) room was one of the tiniest I've seen, but most importantly perhaps, the bed was hard as a rock! If you're concerned about your back and you require a soft bed, you may want to think twice (or thrice) before booking this hotel. The bathroom worked just fine, no complaints there. The breakfast was very good and well stacked with lots of different choices. The staff was awesome; super friendly and accommodating to most of my requests! I did feel the hotel was a bit overpriced though, but location may have driven the rate.

Minus was the room size, it was small but OK for one traveller who needs just to take shower and rest. Room was cleanef every day, WiFi was good. Personal thanks to Ugur Ozan, he was very helpful before my trip and during my stay.

The room size was spacious and nice, the breakfast was satisfactory, so close to all the historical attractions in Istanbul and some lovely markets nearby too! I am a small person, so this tight squeeze was ok - might be too small for a normal size person, but the hotel has other rooms. I especially appreciated the air conditioning, which would be necessary in summer. Bathroom was also a tight squeeze but recently renovated, with plenty of hot water and a fully enclosed shower. Good value.
