Guest Reviews
- TILIN (9/5): Quite comfortable stay. - Julia is fantastic. She proactively provided many useful information prior to our arrival, and very helpful to provide visiting guide. The cabin is cosy but comfortable and is in a good location. The only issue is to switch on the gas heaters in the living area. There are two gas heaters in the living area, one doesn’t work, another one is very hard to light up. One night, we gave it up and whole night without heating, luckily another night we successfully switched on the heater. However this issue didn’t affect us to enjoy our stay.
Nada
- Emily-Rose (8/5): Close to bus station and cosy comfy place - Close to the bus station and a short walk from the Main Street. The house comes with everything you need but the tv doesn’t work or could come with a few more cooking utensils. Apart from that everything great
- Aguirre (7/5): Bien - Lo amplio y la camada era comoda La cocina queríamos poner en mínimo y se apagaba hacia ruido perdida de gas
Había telas de arraña en las paredes la tostadora estaba con migas de pan
- Catalin (10/5): - An exceptional location in the heart of Patagonia : El Chalten. A small house with a clean and very spacious room, living room and bathroom. A welcoming host with whom we communicated very well. Could'n stay longer :)

- bwitlox (8/5): Nice basic vacation home, but the neighbours play music at night. - Nice basic vacation home. The interior feels a bit dated, but everything is fine. Clean. Comfy beds. The neighbour likes to play music at night. One night even till 3:30am!
Dobre wifi.
- Ivaylo (9/5): - We stayed for a week and were happy with our stay. Veronica is very kind and responsive, she made sure we didn't miss anything. The heating works well, as do some appliances. In the kitchen you have the essentials for preparing breakfast or dinner. The beds are comfortable.
- Eduardo (8/5): muy confortable - excelente ubicacion
- Bernhard (9/5): Top Manager, top apartment! - Veronica was an excellent host who cared literally for everything and suggested us tours and even organized tricky things The apartment was very cozy and warm. The garden offenen two barbecues and plenty of free space.
- Mark (8/5): Very good - A great base to explore the region around Mt Fitzroy. The lady was very helpful providing tips and ideas for walking the trails. We found the oven was very dirty.
- Yury (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tejonita (6/5): Quiet location - Good location, acceptable apartment with essentials for a short stay. Host and key pick up were very friendly and easy done via whatsapp. Good off street parking. Very quiet location and our cabin number 1 had a view of the mountains. Easy walking distance to everywhere. Cleaning could be better but the issue was discussed with the host and will hopefully improve.
- Natalie (7/5): Great hostess, great location. - The place is nicely located and was quiet except for New Year's Eve, which is to be expected. The hostess was phenomenal and so very helpful. She suggested places to go, made reservations for us for dinner, and all in all elevated this place from ok to good. The furnishings seem like they're from a thrift shop, and there was really no couch or place to relax except a table. They could improve the living room for sure.
- Johan (10/5): Exceptional - The hostess was great with excellent communications and information. The location is very convenient. The apartment is well appointed. One of our best stays in Argentina.
- Aidan (8/5): Very good - Very well located, spacious cabin, nice hosts and comfortable beds, would return in the future. Cabin had a gas like smell to it - we were told it was not gas, no where to hang clothes after washing them. Be aware you have to pay cash as that was not clear to us prior to booking.
- Shaohua (10/5): Will recommend to friends. - Very cozy cabin in a windy Patagonia town, close to bus station. Very friendly host who is quick to respond and ready to help us. As our flight to BA was cancelled due to an airport strike, the host accepted our request for cancelling one night stay as we couldn't reach it on time. Really grateful for that. We stayed the remaining two nights there. So comfortable! The host provided lots of useful information.
- Joey (10/5): - Had a great time, so clean and comfortable. Tatiana was awesome. Gave us great recommendations, and help us with easy check-in and out!
- William (7/5): If the owner spent a few dollars on upgrades it could be a lot nicer. - It is in a great location with off street parking. The kitchen was very basic. It had glasses and plates but no bowls and only one pot and one pan. Also, two of the four heaters were inoperable.
- San (2/5): Large cabin that misses on multiple points. Not recommended. - Location is central. Restaurant on corner is convenient for breakfast and lunch. This place misses on several points. Not good value, at all.
Our cabin, #1, was big, but for $220/night the a) heat should work (and valves be explained at check-in), b) floors should be clean (filthy) and c) toilet should flush.
The bed sheets are so coarse you get elbow abrasions turning over at night. The water heater runs out after 4 or 5 minutes.
Low budget operation that needs basic upgrades to merit the high price.
Not recommended.
- Ge (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barbara (9/5): Superb - Clean and comfortable. And Julia was amazing in suggesting the perfect excursions depending on the weather. Thanks Julia 😊
- Sarah (9/5): amazing stay, amazing host! - Wonderful stay. Super comfy cabin, amazing value for money. Julia was honestly the best host we have ever had. she was so helpful, constantly sending recommendations for things to do and checking in with us. She was wonderful! n/a
- Sarah (10/5): Week in Chalten - Easy to find and quiet. Had everything we needed for the stay and grocery stores and restaurants nearby for food.
Plenty of heaters that kept the place warm during the cold windy days. Hostess was attentive to the property and was quick to respond to any questions we had. The smell of gas was a little strong in the kitchen area
- Jasmina (8/5): Very good - + big apartment
+ Clean
+ Quiet area
+ Friendly staff - too expensive for what you get
- Hot water boiler so you have to wait after one person showered
- Gas smell in the apartment which made it feel a bit dangerous
- kitchen could be more equipped
- wifi just okay
- Jeannette (6/5): - We enjoyed having our own cabin in town within walking distance from the restaurants and trails. It was very quiet and the attendants were very friendly and helpful. We did need to ask for sheets for one of the beds as it had no sheets when we pulled the cover back....and they definitely need new beds. Other than that, the place was very quiet and clean and a very good value.
- Teresa (8/5): - We are travelling around Argentina. These apartments are very close to the bus station, supermarket and laundrette.
A little short walk to the start of the Fitzroy Walk.
The apartment
- Ji (8/5): A convenient suite close to city bus terminal - the suite makes stay convenient.
