• Sean (6/5): - Location is perfect, close to many dining erea and small supermarkets., good neighborhoods, didn't mind the train noise we are right next to the station. A Basment apartment does say in ad. Needs a good cleaning up and a fixing up looks like not taken care of very much. The floors are very noisy needs to be fixed., bathroom need a good clean and paint coat , same for the bed rooms. the small things like door stoppers and proper towels, not these small ones.
• Taiba (2/5): Don't be fooled by the pictures. - Other than the location, nothing. It looked good in pictures, and the facilities seemed great, but I should have really considered the bad reviews more. Don't fall the AC option, there is no AC. The apartment is tiny, unnecessary walls to make a studio into an apartment with a "living room". From the start things were falling apart, the hanging rack was falling apart and screws kept falling off, while it swung the more weight you put on it. The "AC" was a unit that was hooked up to a tube that goes out the window, meaning the window always had to be open, and the tube kept falling off as it was haphazardly taped on. Don't get me started on the noise when you turn it on, it sounds like a generator engine in your room, so you can't sleep with it turned on. The"sofa bed" was a measly couch that wouldn't have carried the weight of a man, and even when I asked how to flatten it to be a bed, my messages were ignored. Whenever I needed assistance about something I would send a message as they mentioned, and find the message read and ignored. I also booked a cleaning, which you have to pay upfront and no one showed up, when I sent yet another message I got a reply that the cleaners were unwell and so no one would be coming on the assigned day (had I not messaged I would not have known and wasted a morning waiting for them). When I asked why the messages weren't being replied to promptly, the guy went off about how he was doing the cleaning because the cleaners weren't there and he was trying his best! The next day the cleaners come, took 15 minutes of shuffling things around and left. At one point I found someone outside the building waiting for instructions because no one was replying to him, I had to send a message to the guy informing him that a new tenant was waiting for a reply! If it wasn't for the fact that I didn't have the budget to move to another place, I wouldn't have stayed a minute there.

Worst experience ever , would never recommend this place to anyone, it’s completely different from the pictures shown on the website, and in the basement, which we were not told about, there is no ventilation, no windows, the management does not reply back to calls or messages.. very unprofessional, it was smelling of bleach , too many mosquitoes.. booking.com was very helpful, but unfortunately they too could not get in touch with the management.. very shabby apartment

When I contacted the property staff, they confirmed that there was no dishwasher. I have written to Booking.com customer service multiple times regarding this issue, but I have not received any response. We chose this property specifically because it was advertised as having both a dishwasher and a washing machine, as we were planning a long stay. Unfortunately, the absence of a dishwasher was a significant inconvenience for us.

• Stephanie (8/5): Great location, clean facilities but needs some updates. - We loved the location. It was a 4 minute walk to the Baker st underground. There were lots of restaurants, pubs, cafes, museums and steps to Regent's park. Small kitchen included updated appliances and sufficient dishware. The facilities were clean but could use an update. The listing says that there is AC but there is only one AC unit in the bedroom. We were visiting for a week during very hot weather, so we asked for a second unit for the living/dining area. A portable AC unit was delivered the next day but was missing the window venting parts. We plugged the open window with towels and shoes to keep the bugs out. There were no screens in the windows.

No bath towels to fit around a body and smelled a bit mouldy. No instructions on how to use anything and television had no signal for any channels. Followed the check in guidelines but couldn’t reach anyone to enter or collect key. Once in was chased for payment but then not responded to when I asked how to exit and use lockbox to ensure safe return.

The repair staff worked towards fixing it and were responsive Park lane properly managers have yet to respond to an email from me All doors in the unit were really squeaky and were never addressed despite many requests. I would not stay there again. Location was great however

No fire escape would be possible with only exit 58 stairs down narrow stairs case which would act as a chimney in case of a fire. Carrying heavy bags up stairs is a real challenge. Additional 12 to 14 stairs in unit to go up to kitchen , lounge and bathroom. Door lock in bathroom was almost impossible. Initial communication with office to gain entry upon arrival was challenging .

We were over 2 floors which was nice, 3 bedroom apt on top of building. 3 bedrooms as you walked in, then up another flight of stairs to the kitchen and living area. It was very clean. We'd an issue with the showers on the first morning but that was sorted immediately. Very responsive via WhatsApp. I would stay there again. I travelled with my young daughter and my parents. It was great to have the space rather than being in hotel rooms. Stairs, a lot of them and very narrow. It was a struggle with our suitcases when we arrived. Just be prepared for that if you are anyway injured or post/pre surgery. The common area is a bit worn and on first impressions could be a bit worrying but the area is great so we quickly got over that. The twin room is very tight, it was ok for our needs but there is no room for storage so had to use storage in the other rooms to hang items.

On a number of other occasions during the afternoon and evening the door to the building was not shut properly. Somebody had entered and tried the door to my flat at 3am The worst mattress I have ever attempted to sleep on. The springs were almost through the material. Was booked for 2 nights. Left after the first night, didn't feel safe and didn't want another night being prodded by springs. Brought this up with building management who sent me videos of the door opening and closing. I also know how to close a door. Other residents clearly didn't. No other contact from hosts other than that.

• Karina (1/5): Do not recommend - I had an extremely disappointing and unsafe experience at this property. I booked a specific apartment through Booking.com, expecting a comfortable and secure stay. However, upon arrival, I was given a completely different unit—a basement-level apartment with a street-facing door that barely locked. The mailbox slot allowed direct visibility inside, and the entire unit was surrounded by large windows, making it feel completely exposed and unsafe. As a solo female traveler, I felt incredibly vulnerable. The noise levels were unbearable, making it impossible to sleep. When I raised my concerns with the property management, they were unhelpful and dismissive. They initially confirmed that I would stay in a different unit but later claimed a “last-minute issue”—yet my originally booked apartment was still available on Booking.com after they reassigned me. I reached out to both the property and Booking.com, but neither took responsibility or helped resolve the situation. This was completely unacceptable, and I would strongly advise anyone—especially solo travelers—to stay far away from this property. If you’re looking for honest service, security, and a stress-free stay, this is NOT the place for you.

• Anne (3/5): Poor - The location is perfect, basically halfway between Baker Street tube station and Marylebone. I was given a different apartment than the one I had booked. Although it was bigger, it was on the 4th floor (no lift) and it was in very poor condition. Cupboards were full of cleaning items and broken or unused items. It felt like a storage apartment for various items. No dishwasher, which had been specified in booking as being available in all apartments. The linen on 2 of the beds definitely looked like it had not been changed before my arrival. I stayed for 5 nights and not once was the apartment serviced!! If you choose Baker Street Apts, make sure you stay away from the apartment on the 4th floor. The one positive were the very kind and helpful guys that took me to the apartment - I had arrived, and no one was there to let me in, so I had to take a taxi to the main office/apartment block. Eventually these guys kindly drove me and my luggage over to Baker St Apts and got me up to the apartment. Overall, very disappointing and I would not stay there again.

• Matthew (2/5): Terrible no communication - Not that much Not much when I booked the only apartment that I saw online was a basement flat. I turn up no one to greet us. Then get told our apartment is in the third floor if that was not enough of an insult having to drag our suitcases up the stairs get into the apartment to find another flight of stairs. The apartment looked very unkept with dirty carpet a lounge that was so uncomfortable you could not sit on it the only other chair to sit in was just as uncomfortable had to put extra cushion on seat . Tried to make lounge more comfortable by using some of the bedding from down stairs did not work. I also booked a sound proof apartment but could hear people below and the noise from outside. The bathroom were very small and the vanity was missing a door. Really badly kept The bathroom light stopped working three days in contacted the property owner via bookings.com only got a response on day we departed apartment. Also check out was 11.00am the cleaning people were at the apartment before 11.00am I paid a lot of money to stay in this apartment it was not worth the money

Tesco Express across the road, lots of coffee shops etc. Space, 3 bed apartment 2 bathrooms, living room and kitchen. Service was seamless. Clean apartment with all the necessaries bedding, towels, WiFi etc. The common entrance hall is a little shabby, first impression etc. The apartment itself is excellent.

• Melanie (1/5): Kind of a nightmare, tbh - The location is great, a few minutes walk to Baker Street or Marylebone stations with most shops and food you could need within a few blocs The super musty smell and obvious water damage, and the A/C that made the strong odor worse (so we had to limit our use, knowing that there is a known disease spread by bacteria growing in stagnant water trapped in air conditioners) and eventually stopped working because it had taken in too much water from the very moist air (the error message literally conveyed it was full of water). Jeremiah from Park Lane told me he was certain there was no mold without having inspected it, and not even a pro could rule out mold without seeing under the floorboards and wall. He came off very dismissive and lacking respect, he assumed we know nothing when I've had a lot of experience with this issue. I asked for a dehumidifier/air purifier, and one did not come in a timely manner. Then the day we have an important event, the door gets stuck locked even with people on both sides of the door trying to open it (with the key from outside, and then also from the inside). This was extremely stressful to be trapped in the basement apartment (fire hazard also) with bars on the windows. The friend locked on the outside fetched a hardware store guy across the street who helped us get it open while my calls went unanswered for a while. Then Jeremiah finally calls back and his first question is "What did you do the lock?" as if it's our fault. We're all women, and he came off sexist. He was on speaker phone and we all agreed his handling of the situation was outrageous and dismissive yet again. Thankfully the nice hardware store guy (who cuts keys for a living) let us video him explaining the lock was broken and how he could tell. Everything in the apartment was a little weird/off. No place to put toilet paper except behind the toilet, no ventilation in the windowless bathroom, etc. The maid arrived promptly at 11am checkout, which was a first and rather jarring.

• Yazeed (8/5): Very good - Location was great, between two stations, a lot of shops restaurants coffee shops around, apartment itself clean have everything in good condition, bed also comfortable, staff are available and doing great one of them his name is Benjamin. by the way this is my 2nd time to stay there,, No elevator. you can hear the steps from high floor apartment.
• Marina (6/5): Pleasant - The location is perfect. Really nice, near the center, with marvelous Regent's park and lot of restaurants and shops for all basic needs and any kind of public transport. Pay attention that some apartment in the property are semi-basement, so if any of visitors have any mobility problems be sure to tell the owners in advance. It is very important, because you will have no chance to reach the semi-basement apartments with any minor problems with turning in a tight space or with steps.

• Romel (7/5): Pleasant and value for money - Location is very good. Close to Baker street tube. However the train movement noise can be a little annoying initially. Supermarkets are very close. Central Business district. The property could use some new fittings. The flush broke down during the stay. However the maintenance team fixed it immediately. The flat is in the basement.

Half of the things listed that the apartment would have, was not present once we arrived, e.g., dishwasher and dryer, the baby bed that we had booked did not have a mattress etc. and the condition of the apartment was way below expected

• Tamás (9/5): Superb - the apartment seemed newly furnished and equipped location is perfect for a city visit - couple of minutes from Baker Street underground station and Madame Tussauds lots of junk food place nearby to eat at (Chicken Shop was our favourite, but there is also a Five Guys just around the corner) windows were not air tight, which meant that sounds of the street and cold air could not be closed out perfectly sofa bed is a sofa bed, it is not designed to be slept on

• Gary J (2/5): - This property is nothing like the photos. All decoration has been stripped from the apartment that is seen in the pictures. Filthy burned carpets. no heat in bedroom. Walls dirty and unkept and no King Bed as represented. Lastly the mattress is so thin you are sleeping on pure springs all night which is very uncomfortable We did not sleep for two nights

• Benjamin (8/5): - Really great value for an apartment in a very central location. Really liked the small elements such as having cleaning items available, crockery and cutlery. A cot was also provided for us. Had everything we needed and the manager communicated really well with us via whatsapp.

• Kukovic (8/5): Very good - The location was great, very close to baker street underground station and in close proximity to Hyde park. There's a grocery store just down the road and a lot of pubs and places to eat nearby. The apartment had all the appliances needed for cooking and cleaning. There was a big TV in the living room and a couch as well. We felt a bit unsafe at times since the windows could not be locked and could be opened from the outside. The radiator in the bathroom was not working and the shower head was leaking so it was hard to shower. Thankfully there was a portable heater in the living room which we used to warm up the bathroom. We couldn't use the bathtub since there was no plug for drainage and we paid extra for a room with a bathtub.
• Roy (4/5): - The property is good, but it is so disappointing in the property that the next door apartment people complained abt the noice even after the television volume was at 12. The owner called several times to stop the noice which didn’t allow us to enjoy. The owner was also very rude when we informed him that we cannot open the master key as the locker was jammed. He was like try hard and if u want me to come than it will be 2 hours delay. We were out of the house trying for almost 30 mins. Overall inside the apartment everything is amazing.

Finding a quiet place was crucial due to my light sleeping habits. Accessibility to the conference area by taxi or public transportation was also a priority. The spacious and immaculate apartment exceeded expectations. The comfortable bed facilitated easy sleep, a rarity for me. Overall, the place met all my criteria and tick all my boxes. I highly recommend. Central. Quiet. Spacious. Comfortable. Very clean. Thank you!
