- Melanie Stotz (9/5): - Lamphu House ist jedesmal unser Hotel wenn wir in Bangkok sind. Schon 6 Mal hier gewesen. Der schöne Innenhof und die zentrale Lage ist für uns perfekt. Viele Restaurants und Bars in der Nähe und auch der Fluss um mit der Fähre zu fahren und die ganzen Attraktionen anzuschauen. Für uns perfekt. Wir haben immer das Dreibettzimmer oder das Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad Das einzige was wirklich nicht so toll ist, das sind die Steckdosen. Leider ist es schwierig da die Stecker schlecht halten und fast von alleine raus fallen. Ansonsten sind wir sehr zufrieden und kommen wieder.

- Mateusz (6/5): Great location, friendly, rooms are poor though but acceptable if you’re some kind of an expact traveling on a budget - Location, (though a bit difficult to find it’s behind some store with stuff for tourists) a nice reception with hanging out area kinda hostel vibes; food downstairs was good you can buy cheap nice food My room was really poor, couldn’t see anything through windows and impossible to open them, it was last floor very high many stairs no elevator, room was very simple and very old build on budget with exposed electrical cables everywhere, no balcony, but it was ok since I was alone, a good location built up for that. The air condition was struggling to work it was too hot even if I had it working all the time it’s just probably old model I had it set up for 18 degrees maybe I should do a minimum but I didn’t want to risk a sickness .

Walkable distance from Khao San road and the road outside the hotel is very lively, there are cafes and massage centres. Rooms and bathroom were clean with basic toileteries. This is only for our room - it was exceptionally small. It was literally impossible to walk inside without bumping either into a wall or the bed. No electric kettle Not many options for breakfast.
- Gabrielle (10/5): Pretty, quiet, relaxing way to arrive in Bangkok! - The courtyard area when you first arrive is very pretty. Staff were great. Held our bags for us after checkout. Room was clean with a very nice balcony. The location was a little far from reliable public transit, making it a little difficult to get to some areas of Bangkok without Grab/Taxi. When first arriving, our maps brought us to an incorrect location, and the true location is a little difficult to find. May also be due to user error.

Der Innenhof lädt zum verweilen ein obwohl ich mir wünschte der würde etwas mehr gepflegt. (Möbel auffrischen, Kissen erneuern, Pflanzenbeete pflegen)

Geen zwembad helaas, wel vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt is lekker en vers. Geen liften, geen zwembad en iets wat lastig te vinden.

Das Hotel ist einfach, hat uns aber sehr gut gefallen und unsere Erwartungen für den günstigen Preis voll erfüllt. Wir würden auf jeden Fall empfehlen ein Zimmer mit Balkon zu buchen. Unser Zimmer war weit oben, mit Blick auf Bäume, Sitzmöglichkeit und absolut sauber. Wahrscheinlich hat das Hotel schlechte Erfahrung mit Gästen gemacht, denn beim Check Out hat erst ein Mitarbeiter unser Zimmer gecheckt bevor wir gehen konnten. Das hat alles einige Minuten gedauert, was an sich nicht schlimm ist, aber wir haben es nicht eingeplant und waren darurch ein wenig unter Zeitdruck am frühen Morgen. Einfach einen Moment für Check Out einplanen. Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche war leider sehr schwach.

- Mali (6/5): - (3 teen girls) had a scary and aggressive encounter with the man in the room beside us. we spoke to the staff and they did absolutely nothing – if anything they made us seem like we were the problem. felt unsafe because of that, heads up for solo backpackers! also there is no "quite time" however we got yelled at for talking at a normal volume in our room at 10-1030...the walls are thin i suppose but how are we to know (mind you it's right beside khao san road so i'm not sure what you expect).
- Lea (8/5): Guter Preis, Lage, Start in Bangkok - Ideale Lage zur Khao San Road. Viele Restaurants in der Gegend. Wir haben einen Ausflug über die Unterkunft gebucht und waren sehr zufrieden. Abholung etc. alles hat einwandfrei geklappt und wir konnten spontan 1 Tag vorher buchen. Zimmer sehr einfach, kein Luxus, aber auch keine Überraschung. Man bekommt was man bucht.

- Giovana (8/5): Standard hotel, great location - It was great for the price! Had everything we needed and the common area was very cozy to hang out in the evening. Best part about the hotel is the location since it was off of a market (nice to walk around in the evening) and it's not noisy at all :)

- Fleur (8/5): Good price, worth your money - Staff was friendly. Showers and toilets were clean. Air-conditioning worked perfectly. Location is awesome. Very good pricepoint. Immediately booked another two nights for later this holiday. The beds were a little hard and the rooms were not very big. But for the price it was absolutely what I expected!

- Lucrezia (8/5): Sono stata bene in questa struttura, ho passato l'ultima giornata del mio viaggio serenamente. - disponibilità dello staff, la zona è centrale e molto bella, comoda per visitare i principali siti di Bangkok, comodissima alla fermata del traghetto. Khao San Road è a 5 minuti a piedi. L'albergo ha un giardino dove si fa colazione molto verde, pur essendo in super centro si respira tranquillità. La zona intorno all'hotel è ricca di bar e ristoranti molto carini. in generale mi è piaciuto tutto. Forse la mancanza dell'ascensore può risultare un pò scomoda se si ha una camera al 3° piano.

- James (8/5): Great spot for a cheap stay close to everything and peaceful. - Excellent location for exploring near the river, the klongs, the royal palace and many temples. Rambuttri alley is quaint with lots of nice cafes and a few street food vendors. The narrow alley leading to the hotel could be a bit cleaner but it’s a small point.
