- Efrem (8/5): - I stayed here because prices in May in central Amsterdam are crazy. It is an easy Metro ride(10 minutes) from Central Station. The hotel is 1 minute walk from Noord station. The room was fine with nothing to complain about. Breakfast options were good. More English language TV options than usual. Even though it's a quick ride to central Amsterdam, it's still a ride that takes effort at end of a tiring day. While breakfast options were good, quality was mediocre.

- 81aling (10/5): Can’t go wrong, TRUST ME !! - Traveling solo for one night stay from Utrecht on a Sunday and booking a room at Mercure Amsterdam North was the best option I had. Being reunited with my friends living in Amsterdam North the location of the hotel made everything so easy. I got out from M52 coming from Amsterdam Zuid which is a 15 min ride with the metro and from North station literally 80 meters walk, if it’s raining you won’t even get wet. Lol. Reception is clean, welcoming, easy to walk around and follow signs. With a bit of luck got room on the top floor, big windows bright rooms, quiet, private and safe. Staff are the best, although some young staff members at the bar in the evening could use some intense event type of training, I know they got time they only so young, but pour me that pint already dude,Thank you!

O entorno do hotel não é muito agradável e não tem nada a não ser uma loja de conveniencia e um pequeno restaurante tipo take away.
- Hisham (7/5): تابع كلامي بدقه ولك الخيار - الفندق من ناحية النظافة جيد جدا تنظيف يومي ومكانه عند آخر نقطة في شمال مترو أمستردام وتوصل لوسط أمستردام بسهولة ..ما جنبه خدمات وما انصح تأكلون شي من المحطة ( فئران تجوب ارض المحلات في الليل ) الرسبشن متعاونين إلى حد ما .خذ تذكره 24 ساعة من المترو واذا تعيجزت اطلب من تطبيق BOLT احسن من اوبر وحمل تطبيق اكل بعد احسن من اوبر ولا تأكل عموما في اوربا من المطاعم السياحيه ابعد عن السنتر بس فيه( بيتزا دام ) روعه ولا تقعد في امستردام اكثر من ثلاث ليالي إلى اربع وبعدها استأجر سيارة وانطلق بس تاكد من وجود مواقف في الفنادق لان توفرها مشكله وسعرها ايضا مشكله خذ موقف 24 ساعه احسن . الرسبشن هو واجه الفندق وللأسف واجهت عدم لباقه من واحد شامي وأخرى بنت من شرق اسيا . يوم الخميس مايو 7 بين الساعة 11-12 البتزا وصلت وجلست نصف ساعه عندهم وبردت ولا يبلغونك وهذا بيت القصيد الفندق ما فيه تلفون تتصل على الرسبشن .
- Departure53049242087 (10/5): Great value for money - This is an excellent option we found after checking many overpriced options bear centraal and Dam. This is an excellent property that is just outside Noord Metro station terminus and hence a 5 min ride to the centre of amsterdam. This is also a wonderful base to explore the parks near the north and the wonderful Het Twiske. Bikes also available on hire at the hotel. Overall it's an amazing package for the money. And rooms are super comfortable

- Michael (8/5): - Not in the heart of things, but in a good way. We were able to easily enjoy the city during the day but retreat here for a quieter time in the evening. Transportation to everything from just outside the doors.
- JESSI (8/5): Great location and easy access - Super convenient, it's located in the quiet suburb part of Amsterdam - 2 stations away from Central. Rooms are simple, clean and quite spacious. Located right next to the metro station, means easy access for families and those travelling with elderly parents. Trash collection area quite near the entrance area, needs to be cleaned regularly would make for a better customer experience walking in and out of the hotel area.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were clean and well-equipped in fairly fresh decor. Lovely rainfall shower but some minor issues with hot water. Very pleasant toiletries supplied - hand wash, shower gel and shampoo. Plenty of towels. Breakfast offering was superb with no limits and nothing missing. I would certainly recommend this hotel. M

- dawnl230 (8/5): Comfortable, clean hotel in a good location. - We had stayed here previously so knew what to expect. On checking in we were allowed to check in early and were upgraded to a triple room and given a voucher for a free drink in the bar which was a nice surprise. However, I found this room noisier than our twin we’d stayed in previously. I could hear banging from another room at times, when someone used their shower the pipes squealed and I was kept awake with a child in another room screaming for over 30 at 5am. I know some of this is not the fault of the hotel but it did affect my quality of sleep. There was also some noise from the bus station/road. We stayed on the other side of the hotel last year overlooking the college and it was much quieter. We found the beds comfortable though and slept well the other nights. The breakfast was good with a good selection of hot and cold food to choose from. The location is ideal a quick trip on the metro and you’re in Amsterdam (they run every 6 minutes). We also noticed on several occasions a few bags of rubbish and otter litter on the floor by the public bins outside the hotel which doesn’t give a good first impression of the hotel. On checking out we were able to store our bags in the hotel and spend the day sightseeing without dragging our luggage with us. I would more than likely stay here again due to location and it being a comfortable, clean hotel.

The bed linen was lovely fresh white cotton . The air conditioning and heating system worked well. Easy access to the metro and excellent street food choices nearby . I unfortunately had a fall in reception and the staff were excellent caring for me and calling an ambulance. Only a very small point but a small biscuit with the tea and coffee making facilities would have been nice.

- 380jont (10/5): Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff - Beautiful hotel with brilliantly helpful and friendly staff. Right next to the metro station so 10 minutes into the heart of Amsterdam. Free parking as well.
- Sharon (8/5): Nice accommodations but a few problems. - Nicely appointed hotel. Convenient to metro. Someone decided to install a motion sensor controlled spigot in the bathroom sink. A terrible idea. No control of temperature and try brushing your teeth. You get the water all over your hand, not the brush. The hotel is really outside of the city, which took me by surprise. It would have been helpful to have a microwave to heat up food and a sink that you could close to hand wash clothes.

At the first day, it was just a slightly smell but on the day we check out. It became really serious. This hotel provided an everyday cleaning but the cleaner ignored our “clean up” light even we meet him on the corridor, he know that we are going out, the room is ready to be cleaned up. We told reception about this but no response from them. We booked breakfasts for the next day but seems there is no communication between reception and restaurant. When we arrived, the counter asked us to pay again. We claimed that we have already paid for it so she called the reception. They got 12hours to add us in the breakfast, but they did nothing.

- gunnarhei (2/5): Locked in Bathroom for ~40 Min – Poor Handling - Staying for business at Mercure Amsterdam. Closed the bathroom door in the morning – couldn't open it due to a defective handle. Trapped for ~40 minutes and came late to work. First tried to open it myself. Luckily had my phone to call for help. Otherwise likely locked in for hours. Spoke to the manager for compensation: They said the room was usable, and offered free upgrade or breakfast next time (declined), then €30 refund (also declined as not acceptable for the stress). Such issues can happen, but handling matters. Here it was disappointing. Not for me again. Better options in Amsterdam exist. Other notes: Room: New but smaller than pictures; half of the rooms face bus terminal (lots of buses coming in (every 1-2 minute) with headlights facing the rooms); good bed & WiFi. Cleanliness: Surface OK, but e.g. nightstand dirty and some stains on the wall. [would expect better for the price] Location: Next to metro/bus terminal (7 min from Centraal), but not so nice area with construction. Staff: guy on check-in unfriendly; others friendly. Stars: 1/5 due to bad experience, otherwise 3/5

- Sharon (9/5): Is this a Dutch thing? - Lovely comfortable room. High quality hotel. Room 303 was especially large and accommodated my mobility scooter easily. The location is out of town such that there aren’t so many restaurants around. You can find markets but there is no access to a microwave in the room or hotel to heat your food. Also the bathroom sink is designed so as not to allow you to fill it in order to hand wash your clothes, a major drawback for travelers.

- Dilek (8/5): Genel olarak iyi seviyede diyebiliriz - Konumu (şehre ulaşımı çok rahat, metro ve otobüs durağı hemen yanında, market ve alışveriş mekanlarına yakın, geç saatlere kadar açık mekanlara kolayca ulaşabiliyorsunuz) , kahvaltısı ( çok çeşitli ve gayet yeterli) , oda ve banyo büyüklüğü (Amsterdam geneline göre oldukça geniş ve ferah odalar) , odadaki verilen kişisel bakım ürünleri ( güzel bir kesenin içinde traş bıçağından, diş fırçasına, kulak tıkacına kadar her şey düşünülmüş) , çalışanların ilgi ve davranışları gayet iyiydi Havalandırma sesi, yan odalardan gelen tesisat ve misafirlerin sesi (izolasyon konusu geliştirilmesi gerekiyor) çok vardı, oda temizliği istediğimiz seviyede değildi, nevresimimiz leke olmuştu, oda temizliği butonuna bastık ancak aynı nevresim check outa kadar değiştirilmedi, çöp kutusu boşaltıldı ancak kutuya sığmayan ve yanına poşetle koyduğumuz çöpler alınmamıştı. Temizlik olarak sadece nevresim düzeltiliyor ve havlular değiştiriliyor sanırım.

Дуже зручна постіль, та гарна постільна білизна. Сніданок вище всяких похвал, різноманітний та дуже смачний. До центра міста 7 хвилин на метро. Дуже зручно. Поряд чудове кафе, магазини. Нам дуже все сподобалось!! Все було ідеально!!

- Valeria (9/5): Un gioiello - Hotel davvero molto bello e comodo proprio a due passi di numero dalla fermata della metro che porta in centro. La zona è anche servita da negozi e posti per mangiare poiché proprio accanto vi è una specie di "centro commerciale". La zona è molto tranquilla e frequentata. Sono stati tutti gentilissimi, disponibili e davvero professionali! Appena arrivati la camera era già pronta anche se siamo arrivati un po' prima del previsto. La hall è molto accogliente, elegante e calda come tutto l'hotel che si presenta tenuto molto bene! La camera era molto carina (anche se non amo la moquette), abbastanza spaziosa (anche se avrei preferito qualche appoggio per la valigia in più), in ordine, molto luminosa grazie ad un'ampia vetrata e molto pulita ed al nostro arrivo ci hanno fatto trovare nel mini frigo anche una bottiglietta d'acqua a testa (davvero una gran cosa!!)! In stanza avevamo anche una zona "cucina" attrezzata con bollitore tazze bicchieri tè, caffè, zucchero ecc... C'era tutto ciò che serviva: persino un discreto phon e il ferro da stiro con l'asse!!! I letti erano molto comodi e la temperatura perfetta! Anche in bagno, minimal, aveva tutto ciò che serviva compreso prodotti da bagno e asciugamani morbidissimi! Insomma questo hotel è un piccolo gioiellino che consiglio a tutti se vi trovate ad Amsterdam!!!
