Great that they have a gym and a board meeting room. Very nice full length mirror in the room. Bed was comfy. Great air-conditioner. Both televisions didn’t work, the curtains were falling off the rails, the passageway was dirty, the room service burger was not great. No milk for coffee, only cremora. Breakfast included was ok, nothing special.

• Maureen (10/5): Lovely hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. - The staff were excellent. Without exception they were friendly and helpful. The room was spotless. There was no bar at the hotel which wasn't particularly clear from the listing, although staff helped us to order a bottle of wine for delivery to have with our dinner. The location was good and felt safe to walk around but there is very little within walking distance.

I was so disappointed because it is in a Good location. I wish we had taken pictures. The toilets also smelt like pee and we had a family suite as we were traveling as a family with children. The food was mediocre and the beds were not very comfortable. Unfortunately We had booked and paid a non refundable amount for 7 days but ended up leaving after 2 days and looking for different accommodation. Overall a disappointing stay.

• Thato (9/5): - The place was extremely clean, close to Sandton City and other places in the North. I’d definitely recommend the breakfast, it was really great. When we arrived, they couldn’t find my name at the gate. I had to makes calls to the reception personally to get inside, that took so much of our time and we had to leave the car outside because there wasn’t enough parking space. Maybe they can try work on the guest register system and parking. Otherwise, it was great.

• K (6/5): - With the food being halaal I expected a more muslim inclined hotel. The pictures above the bed and carpet had weird images of people and animals. There was no spray or jug in the toilet. The bathroom basin was too small. The shower does not cater for if you do not want to wet your hair. The cons outweighed the pros of your beautiful location and personally I would not stay again

• Scott (5/5): - I liked the peace and quiet. And the staff at reception also very friendly and the securities St the gate. I didn't like the fact that communication was bad. There was not feedback on my queries. The chat via the booking.com app has the intersection between myself and the hotel, I was heavily mislead in terms of the bar, when I arrived I was told the bar is not operating but I am more then welcome to Uber eats. But in the chat it said that the bar operates. So I was deeply disappointed by that and it affected my overall stay to he honest. I don't think I'll visit again as I don't take lies lightly. Also, a smart TV or a smart TV box would also upgrade the TV to be able to watch Netflix and other streaming platforms.

• Bradley (3/5): Below average - I was happy with the friendly staff and breakfast was great. The hotel is getting old and worn, although it is maintained cleanly. My issue was my room. The fridge sounded like there were kids in my room all night having stick fights. It kept me up the whole night.
• IVONE (1/5): How does one sum up a sleepless night ? - I am a regular and usually enjoy staying at this property. But both my colleague and I had a terrible stay this time The rooms are not being maintained and management is not checking if things are not functioning. My colleague had a rattling fridge all night long and I had a dripping aircon. The noise of the water dripping on the floor all night did not let me sleep. There was no remote for the aircon in the room so I could buff the noise. The tv also didn’t work We both had a sleepless night

He had a rattling fridge that kept him up all night and I had a dripping aircon which made it impossible to sleep. This is just poor management. The rooms are tired and need to be checked but sadly seems like management are not competent or care. so, the guests suffer.

The staff at this location were phenomenal - The property itself is beautiful- the pool area and the treehouse are fabulous While the rooms were nice and clean, I felt that a rug in the room would make the world of difference to give it more warmth. I also didn’t like that there isn’t room service.
• Rebone Nyiko (3/5): Disappointing and not value for money. - The breakfast was not even that great but was the best experience compared to everything else. The Receptionist during our stay was so helpful though when we described our grievances. I really appreciated that. There was a certain odour when we first walked into our room. It kind of stayed in the air and didn’t go anywhere when we tried to open the windows and air it out. The bathroom ceiling had mold on it. Our pillows smelt like they had not been properly cleaned as they smelt like a man/ sweat. We did ask to move rooms which the receptionist helped us with. In the second room, the smell was still there so we reckoned it is mostly likely this way in all rooms. Also our door in the second room could not lock from the inside. When we called Maintenance and told them about this, they advised we can just lock with the latch on top of the door but sleeping with a door unlocked is insane and not comfortable for a guest at all. This place is beautiful but upkeep could use some work. It was a disappointing stay.

• Viwe (9/5): Service and housekeeping need improvement, the bar was understocked, the room phone didn’t work, and a kids’ play area a - The staff is extremely friendly, the front desk and restaurant top tier , great seeing some Hyatt regency trained staff made super amazing. The bar was understocked, and the staff member on duty did not seem confident preparing drinks, possibly due to limited stock or insufficient training. Having a more experienced or better-trained bartender would improve the guest experience. As this is a house setting, adding a shared kids’ play area would also be a great touch, giving children space to play during the day. The housekeeper who serviced my room was not particularly friendly. At first, I assumed she might have been having a bad day, but after a second interaction, it seemed this may simply be her manner. Having previously worked at Hyatt myself, I know the brand places strong emphasis on staff training and guest experience, which is why this stood out to me. She also repeatedly locked the cabinet containing dishes, and my in-room phone did not work for the duration of my stay, so I had to rely on my personal phone. In addition, certain areas were missed during cleaning, such as the top of the microwave and other higher surfaces that needed dusting. Providing a dishcloth in the studios would also be helpful, allowing guests to wipe surfaces as needed.

• Nkululeko (10/5): Exceptional! - Having only been to the Rosebank Hyatt, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the high quality and standard is the same across both branches. The room was extremely clean! And the staff was very very helpful. Definitely worth the money. The TV does not give you the option to connect with a wireless source/screen mirroring, as the DSTV selection, although satisfactory, is very limited. We would like to be able to use Netflix and other streaming products of the like.
