The front desk attendant im sorry i dont remember her name was soooo helpful! Excellent communication and a lovely room with great space. It is quiet and we felt safe. There was a lift also which is helpful with luggage.

- Nicole (10/5): - From the very beginning, communication was outstanding. I was in touch with Andrea, who went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. I had a lot of questions about my arrival time, and he was so patient and helpful every step of the way. When I finally arrived, Andrea greeted me personally, carried my luggage up, and took time to show me all the room features. The space was spotless, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of everything! It was a three minute walk to the Spanish steps. Andrea even helped me book some tours during my stay and, at checkout, made sure I didn’t leave without the complimentary water from the mini-fridge. He literally ran back up to grab it for me! He also kindly held onto my luggage until later in the afternoon. Truly seamless hospitality. Andrea made the experience extra special, and I can’t recommend BELSIANA House enough.

The only thing that we didn't appreciate was the extra charge for "after hours" check-in. We couldn't help when our flight arrived and it wasn't an unreasonable hour. Overall, it was a good experience and a good location.

Good location, room was clean, bathroom was nice, the staff was very friendly and responsive, and the blackout shutters were amazing. My only problem was that I made the mistake of not contacting the property about it's late check-in policy prior to booking. While it does say "contact us for late check in policies" on the listing, it should say "20 euro fee for a late check-in". I fully own that it was my mistake for not checking but it would be great for them to clearly state their policies in their overview so it's not a surprise.

- Gary (10/5): - After three days in Barcelona and a 7 night cruise, we were ready to relax in Rome. Of course, we didn't relax, but at the end of the day it was nice to come home to the Belsiana House. Beds were very clean and comfortable. The only snag was figuring out the AC system. It worked fine once I figured out the remote control. The bathroom was very large and clean.The location is superb for walking to various sightseeing spots. We didn't use it, but the Subway was nearby. The lady in charge was very helpful and even looked for my watch I thought I left in the room. It turns out it was in my suitcase. If we go back to Rome we will try to stay at the Belsiana House.

- Jessica (10/5): - Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Belsiana House. The hosts were friendly and helpful and offered to be reached anytime for anything we needed. The surrounding area is amazing, located in the heart of central Rome near tons of shopping and tons of attractions. You can walk 15-20 minutes in any direction and wind up a famous historic site and for the best pasta ever, all you had to do was walk outside of the hotel door. Loved this hotel!

It’s not a resort with a huge amount of amenities so if your looking for something small and comfortable this is the place for you.

Room was very comfortable and of a good size as a single traveler. Location is fantastic. Convenient and in the middle of great restaurants/ bars and attractions. There was a good bakery just around the corner that had amazing pastries and cappuccinos. The woman checking us in etc was extremely friendly and helpful. They also provide recommendations for authentic restaurants that aren’t tourists traps. I would definitely stay here again if I ever make it back to Rome!

Close to the shops, lovely restaurants and the Spanish steps. 30 min one way to colosseum and 30 mins opposite direction to Vatican. Property great size, beautiful features, large bathroom and lots of storage. Bottled Water provided daily FOC. Bed comfortable and large, lots of hangers and towels. Hosts were really attentive and texted with updates and helped information. Loved loved Rome and this property make it special

- Eileen (4/5): - We expected an older facility, but we did not expect an uncomfortable one….beds extremely low to floor (like kid beds) were as bouncy as a trampoline, the AC unit (mini-split) was impossible to regulate at night, and the morning that we left for the airport, there was NO HOT WATER for showers! Would NEVER stay here again. For the amount we paid per night, would be much more comfortable in an actual hotel….

The room is spacious, clean and i particularly loved that there is a tone of closet space. The airline lost our luggage. BELSIANA HOUSE was super helpful and calling them for us. My daughter and I loved this guest house. Will definitely be back.

Staff were friendly and the room was clean. If you have mobility issues the stairs would be a challenge. Additionally the lift is very small.

- Febria (10/5): - The staff were so nice and helpful. The room&bathroom were super clean. Location is great, close to many restaurants, shopping, walkable to many historical landmarks and subway.
- Febria (10/5): - the staff are wonderful, on the first day in Rome, i got pickpocketed and the staff were so helpful, they went extra miles to make sure i was safe and contact police station. they informed me that the police found my passport and get me taxi to the police office.
- Heather (8/5): - The value for the location is outstanding being only a couple of blocks from the Spanish Steps and 4 blocks from the #7 Hop On Hop Off bus!! They do have a tiny elevator, refrigerator, towel warming rack and comfortable bedding. There are no coffee or tea amenities but there is a cafe open early right on the corner next door. There are 5-6 restaurants next to you or around the corner. Highly recommend this place! Right in the heart of Rome!

The bed and pillows were excellent but the heating was ineffective and the weather was chilly while we were there. Reception is only from 8-12 and you’re charged extra to check in after 7pm. It’s rooms rather than a hotel.
