- L9326VOmichelles (2/5): Poor customer service & room not ready. - When we arrived at the apartment, 2 hours after check in time, the apartment was not accessible. We, a party of 5 older women, were left on the street with our cases. We contacted the office number & were told the apartment hadn’t been cleaned yet. The woman we spoke to actually hung up on us. We rang again & had an argument with the woman. 30 minutes later a cleaner was sent & we finally accessed the apartment almost 2 hours later. It spoilt our stay.
- Ioannis (3/5): The top room is not a real room for accommodations and not value for money. - The location was good. The unit I stayed in had a large balcony. I was accommodated for a late checkout. The unit was not clean and had lots of long hair. No coffee at the coffee station. There was no cover on the duvet inner which is unexceptionable for this type of accommodation. And poor maintenance of the unit. The unit was on the top floor next to the Elevator machine room which was not pleasant every time the elevator was in use.

- Anna (1/5): The worst and dirtiest aparthotel I've ever seen. Nobody bothers to clean this place. - The owners are responding to messages quite quickly (although, as far as I understood, they do this only to avoid refunding money to guests). The location is very central. You open the door with a code. Oh, well. So where do I begin? 1. The room that we booked (5th floor, with a balcony) hadn't been cleaned at all when we arrived. - the bin in the bathroom was full of garbage from the previous guests - there was a very old, dried-out used teabag on the table in the room - the bathroom sink was incredibly dirty, in stains, toothpaste, and I don't even want to know what else - there was another bin, empty but dirty, right in front of the bed - the blanket was extremely dirty, and there was no bed linen on it - the room smelled of cigarettes — probably somebody had been smoking right inside I messaged both the hotel and Booking straight away, and the hotel responded (quite quickly) with an offer to send a maid in the morning "TO PREPARE" the room. Honestly, I had no intention of staying there at all, but unfortunately, it was 1 AM and we had nowhere to go. So we had to sleep in this garbage room — with the balcony door open to get rid of the smell and without a blanket, since the one there was dirty. I cleaned the sink myself. And I really hope the sheets were clean — they seemed to be, but, well, who knows. 2. In the morning, the hotel offered us a new room (2nd floor), which was definitely a step up from the previous offer. We went to check it out. It wasn't very clean (stained bed linen here and there, hairs and dirt on the floor, and so on), but much, much better than the garbage room. We agreed to move there. But that's not the end of the story :) In the bin in the bathroom of the new room, I found... a USED TAMPON. Ironically, this happened at the exact same moment the hotel messaged me saying the cleaning team swears "they cleaned everything on the 5th floor" before our arrival! I asked the hotel to clean the new apartment. They said it is already clean (ha ha ha), but they'd send a maid to clean the bathroom specifically. I don't recommend this experience to anyone.

- Angelica (3/5): Disappointing - Just the location, it is in the middle of the city so easy walking access to everything. The pictures were misleading. From reading it we thought we would have stayed in an actual apartment but instead it was just a room with a queen size bed and bathroom. Yes there was a balcony but with the entire space of the balcony there could’ve be more furniture or tables to have more of a relaxation. Only one towel and hand towel when there were two people staying. Took forever to get in contact with someone for towels and toilet paper. WiFi was awful I had better connections at local cafes and bars. No signal for the TV. You’re mostly paying for the location. If you’re just looking for a quick stayed like a one night stay than it’s worth it. However, I don’t think it worth the price. Extremely disappointing.

Easy entry and nice to have Nespress - Location great There was nothing deluxe about the studio apartment even though pictures showed what you got, the size was not transparent as the balcony was as big as the room so half the actual size advertised. Literally a bed you could walk around. Bed was very comfortable and balcony was nice to have and made it feel more spacious

- Ioannis (10/5): Exceptional - Generally, I have stayed in a lot of apartments in Athens both for business purposes and vacation. This particular one is one of my favorites for many reasons. The location is excellent right in the heart of Athens center, the host is available and helpful and the apartment is well equipped and clean. Overall, a very satisfying accommodation, I totally recommend!

We were happy to find out that besides the sofa bed, there were 2 double beds with excellent mattress. So me and my colleague enjoyed both privacy, central location at a quite fair price. The room with the separate bedroom that we chose, had no balcony, whereas the top floors had. However there were big windows with glass that let the sun in and we enjoyed some views of Athens.

- Nir (5/5): You can find something better then this one... - Location is very good. Comfortable beds. All appartments were booked, they did offer to give us a different appartment when available because ours was NOT ok , for us it was the last night so it didn't make any difference. We stayed in first floor after they changed it from 3rd floor (this is what they told us) when they send the door code at arrival: 1. The bathroom is really not as nice as in the phoots on booking. Barhroom floor seems old and lost some of color. Near toilet always wet, water are coming from somewhere so you must put towels on the floor. It was smelly when we arrived. There is stains of mold on ceiling! By the way - guests from 3rd floor told us the same about wet bathroom... 2. Tap in the kitchen was not well connected, you might think it will break. 3. Fridge door doesn't close easily. 4. No broom in appartment if you want to swipe something. 5. Tiny elevator. 6. Wifi can be improved.

- Bogdan (4/5): Decent for summer, not so good for winter - Perfect location, everything is in walking distance - 2 out of 4 days without hot water (yes, we followed the instructions) - wifi works 5-6 hours per day and when it does speed is around 3-4Mbps (0.5MB/s) - cleanliness should be improved (water leaking outside bathroom -> a lot of mold, some bugs/spider web) - first night was cold, the air conditioning needs more than 12 hours to warm the walls - the room was similar but not the one in the photos, we didn't have the sofa - we expected a balcony but it didn't have one, the photos were a bit misleading In my opinion, they should update the listing and put every apartment with it's own photos, not a combination of them, if I see something and pay for it, I except to have and get what I saw and paid for.
- Ezgi (5/5): Passable - It is so center, you can walk anywhere. I didn't have to use any trasportation. The room was so small and could be more cleaner. Also you have to be prepared if you go there off season. It could be cold.
- Milosevic (1/5): Very unpleasant stay - Location I am writing to express my disappointment with our recent stay at Smart Apartments in Athens. Unfortunately, we encountered multiple issues that significantly impacted our experience: 1. Wi-Fi Not Working Despite being advertised as an included amenity, the Wi-Fi was non-functional throughout our stay. Troubleshooting, such as restarting devices, did not resolve the issue, leaving us without internet access during our visit. 2. Unresponsive Host The host failed to respond to any of our phone calls or messages, leaving us unsupported despite the pressing issues we faced. This lack of communication added unnecessary stress to our stay. 3. PIN Code Access Issue Upon arrival, we could not access the PIN code required for entrance. None of the provided contact numbers responded, leaving us stranded outside the apartment. Eventually, we received the code from one number, but subsequent attempts to reach the same number went unanswered. 4. Unhygienic Bedsheets The bedsheets provided were visibly unclean, which was extremely unhygienic and unacceptable. 5. Water Leakage The shower cabin was missing one door, which led to water spilling everywhere during use. 6. No On-Site Staff There were no staff members available to address these issues or provide assistance during our stay, leaving us to manage everything on our own.
- Spyridon (7/5): A pleasant apartment in a good location but with a few additional appliances and a new sofa bed it would be a very good - Location it’s walking distance to all historic places and close to many bars and restaurants. It has big comfortable beds Good coffee making machine and excellent keyless entry . The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and had what felt like a rod right thru the middle. Apartment lacked amenities that you would find in most apartments such as toaster, microwave, iron and ironing board and clothe rack for hanging washed clothes.We also expected a balcony but did not have one .

Two queen size beds, an american kitchen together with the living room and a bathroom. Entire bulding of apartments (one apartment in each floor). Great customer service, very good and fast communication and kindness during all our stay. We had a problem with ants.

So disappointing! We had to rely on the kindness of a local shopkeeper to call the contact number, pay the cleaning extortion so we could gain entry to the sub par accommodation

- Nafsika (1/5): The worst we ever had - Only the location, the access to the flat was easy Overall experience, the worst I had in my life. I never stayed in such bad accommodation. First of all, they have pictures of all their apartments but they don't specify before which apartment they will give you. So we got the worst one. We have arrived and we encountered human waste in the toilet, the overall bathroom was not cleaned. Very old bathroom, they didn't have door to the shower, the toilet paper holder was not stable and the paper was falling every time.. The beds were horrible, they have used 2 camber beds, you could feel the steels in your back..all mattreses were uncomfortable. They didn't have a mirror in the bedroom, neither a chair nor a wardrobe. No comfort at all. They have used all cheap low quality furniture. The WIFI was not working for all the days in our stay. We have told them and they did not do anything about it. They were claiming that the light should be green to be working but they never explained additional measures to fix it. We turned on and off thousand times and still was not working. Imagine in 2024 not to have wifi. We paid around 120 euros for this which did not worth at all the money. This property can be valued at 50 euros per night. Unfortunately, due to the coldplay concert we couldn't find anything else. I have paid the same amount for another accomodation few months before which was super luxury and clear and is incomparable, luxury and clean and as well prime location. They took advantage of the demand and set a price which doesn't correspond to their property. Also, they let the checkout guests use the apartment after they clean it before we arrived which is unacceptable. They told us that they have used the toilet this is why it was dirty. I'm sorry but who knows if they used the beds and shower as well. It's not a property for 120 euros per night. It was the worst experience we ever had. We don't recommend it.
- Anastasios (6/5): Mediocre place in centre location - Central location, clean, responsive stuff. The apartment was on the 5th floor, with lift access only until the 4th floor. Since was the last floor was very warm all day along. The WiFi wasn't working neither the TV since it needed WiFi access. Although these aren't big problems if you are only looking for a place to sleep, the overall experience was not the best. We contacted the host but didn't resolve the WiFi issue.

- ANTONIO (4/5): - Positivo: cerca de toda la oferta cultural. Silencioso. Muy bien comunicado con aeropuerto. Negativo: muy, muy frío. Imposible calentar con el aire acondicionado poco potente. No existe frigorìfico, no hay cafetera, no funciona el calentador de agua, no hay microondas ni secador. Y lo peor, peor, es que en esas condiciones, cobran 25 euros por dìa por limpieza. Excesivo.

It is located in a terrible place, it takes time to find it, they charge you for mandatory services that they had not told you about, they do not comply with the check in and check out time. - Surwinder (4/5): - There was no ability to communicate with the property management people. We had a couple of issues with the property and were not able to get resolution. The property itself was great once you get inside. There was graffiti and other signs that made it appear unsafe. We had no issues with people. There are nice restaurants nearby also.

- Rita (6/5): Athens Sept 2023 - Location was good for access to central city. Good tavernas & beverages nearby. Unit could have been cleaner and AC in main room did not work. Tough when temps reached 30 during day & did not cool off much at night. Thank goodness for the second AC unit in bedroom.
- Patricia (6/5): Didn’t look like the picture on website but clean - Apartment was ready early (13:00 when we arrived) which was great. We only needed a room for a few hours to rest and store luggage since we were taking a ferry at 21:00. However the room was tiny, there was barely space to open our luggage. The room on the picture showed a sofa and a table as well so I thought we could sit down comfortably other than sit on the bed. On a positive note the bathroom was clean and location was central. 10 minutes walk to monastiriki metro. Beware there is a separate cleaning fee.
- Lauren (6/5): - The apartment itself was great. Only issue was the check in process. It was so hard to find the place and it wasn’t well designated.
- Olivia (6/5): - It was a nice room and great balcony but there were some stains on the sheets and the dishes were not completely clean when I got there. There was no clear sign for the entry to the property and the directions to enter the room and get the key were unclear. It was a nice surprise that there was an elevator as I was on the 5th floor
- Charles bryan (6/5): - Very nice place but the beds are very uncomfortable

- CONSTANTINOS (6/5): - There was a problem with the aircondition. it was licking water. as a results i could hear the drops of water all night throughout and i coudlnt sleep. The system for hot water was not working. i was clicking on the button and waiting for hot water for 20-30 minutes but nothing was happening. There was hot water only when there was sun. lastly the curtains where damaged. it seems that they were pulled down and some of the hangers that were hanged by, broke. as a result the light was comming in and as soon as the sun was up i couldnt sleep anymore
- jim (10/5): - Excellent location and amenities. Only suggestion is adding a adress and name signage of location a bit tricky to find. All else Excellent! Jimmy
- Inna (4/5): - The property manager was very friendly, and responsive!! However, the property is not as described. Photos of the property looked so much better on photos than in reality - broken tiles, missing shower doors, water damage due to leaving water, wires from the walls(?), ripped window curtains… and dirty shower walls and doors, sheets with stains…
- Anthony (10/5): Top - L’appartement est au centre d’Athènes, nouveau, les parties communes sont encore en travaux, mais l’appartement est très bien. Moderne et propre. Le lit ultra confortable et le grand balcon est super.
