- madalina (6/5): - Parcarea a fost in fata hotelului pe strada dar noi am fost mai multe masini si nu aveai unde sa parchezi.Am fost nevoiti sa parcam la o proprietate privata si am platit o gramada de bani.Daca alegeti hotelul ca are parcare este o mare teapa.!!!! Si inca ceva ,nu am putut plati cu cardul , trebuia sa am card cu euro ,nu mi s a mai intamplat pana aici. La cat am platit….. am fost foarte dezamagita.

Рекомендую взять экскурсию по Босфору на 3 часа включен трансферт. Нужно обновить постельные комплекты и сантехнику

- PFR27 (9/5): Super ok! - Locația hotelului este foarte buna, se afla in apropierea obiectivelor turistice! Personal ok, serviabil, am fost ajutat sa parchez mașina pe străduța hotelului. Raport calitate -pret super ok. Mic dejun foarte bun, destul de diversificat ținând cont că este un mic dejun...aviz celor care exagerează cu mâncarea! Per total super ok! Recomand! De reținut faptul că acestui hotel îi trebuie și atenția cuvenită legată de întreținere... Remedierea ușii de la baie trebuie făcută urgent!

También agradecer a Berat y Robert, los muchachos de la recepción. Nos ayudaron en todo lo posible, nos ubicaron al llegar por la noche a la ciudad y cenar en un restaurante inmejorable. Fueron super amables, sin duda sin volviéramos a Estambul, nos volveríamos a alojar aquí. Recomendable 100%. Por poner algo, pondría un tostador en los desayunos y leche caliente.

The staff was outstanding, very welcoming, friendly, advised us of places to eat, kept our luggage hours after our checkout while waiting for taxi and offered us various treats, thank you! - Policeman (1/5): - Proche du Grand bazar, mosquée bleu, Aya Sofia et le bazar des épices. La chambre tout à refaire salle de bain il y avait des fuites dans le plafond le ménage par terre n'est pas fait et dans l'espace de la chambre des murs à refaire la peinture il y a des taches partout et l'armoire sans vous parler de la propreté par terre que la femme elle fait que les vitres. Malheureusement ça pue la cigarette dans le 3e étage malgré que je suis parti à la réception il m'a montré l'armoire il y avait les tableaux ou cas si quelqu'un fume il peut être détecté sauf j'ai bien précisé que le plafond de détecteur et marqué par du plastique qui était placé par leur personnel pour éviter les déclenchements des alarmes de l'armoire ça sentait pendant tout mon séjour à l'intérieur de ma chambre alors que je ne fume pas et ça vient de l'étage et même des fois le personnel de l'accueil et laisse la porte d'entrée de l'hôtel ouverte et eux ils fument à l'extérieur et ça fait appel d'air.

- Eliana (5/5): Great staff but dirty and poor quality - The location was good and you could walk to the major sites in Sultanahmet. The staff were always available and helpful, and spoke good English. We had booked two rooms and they made sure we were next to each other. There were brochures about local tours at reception and staff could help you book the trips (though cheaper ones are available online). The whole place was dirty, there were surfaces that were clearly not cleaned in years, including lots of marks on the walls. My bathroom stank of sewage which seeped through my bedroom. Lots of noise from communal doors being slammed at all times of day. Despite the "free parking" ad, there were 1-2 spots on the street that weren't guaranteed and it was tight. The receptionist insisted on walking us to a nearby restaurant for dinner (which we were happy to accept since we were tired when we arrived) but the restaurant (the first ottoman) was very poor quality, was dirty, staff weren't great, people inside smoked, and the food was tasteless. I wouldn't recommend going to their recommended restaurant. Breakfast at the hotel was very basic with very few vegetarian options.

- ana maria (10/5): Excelent, recomand cu drag - Băiatul de la recepție Robert, super de treabă și un mare avantaj vorbește română, ceea ce a fost foarte ușor de comunicat, ne-a oferit multe informații despre zonele din jurul hotelului, despre zona veche și nouă a Istanbulului, mereu cu zâmbetul pe buze și amabil, recomand cu mare drag acest hotel, Robert va ajuta în orice situație, un băiat extraordinar de prietenos. Zilnic se făcea curat în cameră și se schimbau prosoapele!!! Mulțumim mult Hotel Castillo Rojo, pentru confortul și căldura oferită, felicitări lui Robert încă o dată, băiatul de la recepție Nu este ceva să nu îți placă aici
- Harry (10/5): Great staff and location, would definitely return! - Robert at the front desk was incredibly welcoming and helpful for navigating Istanbul. He was very responsive to all our questions and needs, and made our stay very enjoyable. The beds were comfortable and the location was great as well. The free tea and coffee was a nice bonus. The bathroom was incredibly small and was a bit of a hassle, especially for the taller guests.

- Iryna (8/5): Достойный отель в центре Стамбула - Рекомендую! Чистый номер, отзывчивый персонал, вкусные и разнообразные завтраки, приятный интерьер. Отдельно хочется отметить кулеры с водой и чай в свободном доступе - очень удобно! Хорошее местоположение: немного в стороне от самого центра, так что потише, но легко добираться куда угодно. Очень плохая звукоизоляция, ремонт немного «подустал». Завтрак часто не пополняется, особенно некоторые позиции, горячие блюда- (например, омлет) холодные. Вообщем, создалось впечатление, что кто не успел, тот опоздал… Но лично мне всего хватало и было вкусно, а за такую приятную цену можно простить небольшие недостатки :)

Ii mulțumim lui Robert, un băiat care vorbește românește, te ajută și îți stă la dispoziție! Ar trebuie să vă străduiti mai mult la micul dejun! Mâncarea sa fie caldă măcar și mare atenție la pisici!

- Nesrin (10/5): Es war ein toller Aufenthalt mit einer guten Versorgung seitens der Mitarbeieter. - Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral auf der europäischen Seite von Istanbul. Man kann die Sehenswürdigkeiten leicht mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel erreichen. Die Bahn ist zwei Minuten vom Hotel entfernt und bringt dich schnell von A nach B. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Insbesondere Muhammed. Er begrüßt einen mit einem lächelndem Gesicht und versucht bei Hilfen immer sein bestmögliches zu geben um Hilfe zu leisten. Versucht und schafft es auch seinen Job perfekt auszuüben. Mehr von solchen Leuten und man fühlt sich noch wohler. Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral jedoch ist sie nicht unbedingt ein Hotel ohne Makel. Es gab ein zwei Schwierigkeiten mit dem Badezimmer. Die Zimmer sind eigentlich wie auf den Bildern, jedoch sieht es auf den Bildern etwas ordentlicher aus. Trotz alldem ist das Hotel sehr gut für Leute, die es nur zum schlafen und frühstücken benutzen wollen.

The room is a bit small and some facilities in the room were worn out, like the tray and door knob, but these do not affect our usage. The location is a bit hard to reach when carrying suitcases since there is a long slope.

- Annick (7/5): Bon rapport Qualité Prix - La gentillesse du Personnel, la situation géographique Le petit-déjeuner est très moyen, et il n’y a malheureusement pas de fruits. Les murs des chambres sont très fins : on entend tout ce qui se passe dans la chambre voisine. Si vos voisins se couchent tard, cela peut vite devenir désagréable.

- Radu (10/5): Reusita acestei prime vizite la Istanbul s-a datorat in mare masura alegerii acestei locatii. - Locatia aproape de obiectivele turistice majore din partea europeana a Istanbulului, 10-15 min aproximativ, si de statia de tramvai T1 pe care l-am folosit cel mai des, mai greu la ducere, urcat dealul :). Personalul foarte amabil, mi-au asigurat parcare chiar in fata hotelului, chit ca era o straduta pe care abiau incapeau 2 masini in paralel, mic dejun bogat, atat cel clasic (oua sub diverse forme, branzeturi, mezeluri, gemuri, cereale etc, plus diferite salate turcesti, fructe si o forma de desert diferita in fiecare zi)... plus cafea, ceai, suc etc. Curatenie exemplara in fiecare zi, bonus la programele TV am avut TVRInternational. Caldura in camera, apa calda fara probleme.... WI-FI mergea fara probleme la telefoanele mobile, mici sincope am avut doar la laptop, eu fiind mai chior preferam sa imi planific traseele si alte informatii pe laptop... acu poate erau de vina setarile laptopului...

- John (10/5): The staff were hospitable and bought me a cake for my birthday. - The breakfast was great, a proper Turkish spread. The location was near attractions such as the Blue Mosque. The staff particularly Robert were great, it was my birthday and Robert noticed from my passport and bought me a cake which I found to be a very kind gesture which I appreciated greatly. I was happy with everything and have no complaints.

He’s been incredibly kind and generous to us. 10/10. - Location was good, especially because it was pretty close to several restaurants and public transportation. Room was smaller than it looked. However, the main negative point was the breakfast. It is not worthy at all to pay more to have breakfast included in your stay. There is hardly options to choose from, and flavours are mediocre. I stayed for 4 days and 90% of the breakfast was always the same, to be fair it was far from being a traditional Turkish breakfast.
