- Robyn (6/5): - The staff were great and the use of the luggage storage before checkin was handy. The hotel was close to the station which was perfect. The room was clean, although the carpets a bit dated, the walls are quite thin and you can hear the toilet above flushing every time really loudly. But for a short overnight stay was fine and lovely restaurants for dinner close by.

Our room had two bathrooms...one with the shower the other with the toilet. The sinks in both leaked and they didn't seem to care. It was only one night, so I didn't care either.
- Katrin (6/5): Inexpensive and basic - We only needed one night in a hotel near the Gare du Nord so we had easy access to the RER B to the airport. In that context, the hotel was just fine. Easy walk to train. The hotel seems like it's undergoing renovation. Lobby and hallway are shabby. Bed was comfortable and room and bathroom were clean. Room was very small but, again, fine for one night especially given the low price. The breakfast was not good. Recommend going to a cafe. Neighborhood is dicey especially heading toward Metro Denfert-Rochechouard. But it's walking distance to Montmatre and Sacre-Coeur. Overall: it's a very economical choice and you get what you pay for.

- DayTrip03109334784 (2/5): No valid reservation - don't trust the staff without written confirmation.. - Unfortunately, our vacation got off to a very difficult start. I booked our flight on June 12th and reserved our hotel room starting from June 13th. Since we were expected to arrive at the hotel around midnight on June 13th, I proactively contacted the hotel via Booking.com to clarify whether we would need to book an additional night for June 12th. Unfortunately, I only received an automated response. So I called the hotel directly. A receptionist assured me that an extra night was not necessary — there would be enough availability, and no additional charges would apply. I asked him at least ten times to make sure he had understood me correctly, precisely to avoid the situation that ended up happening. He confirmed 100% that he understood and said he had made a note of it. However, when we finally arrived at the hotel at 1:00 AM, a different receptionist (presumably) told us that our room would only be available from 3:00 PM on June 13th. I explained that I had already spoken with someone on the phone, contacted the hotel via Booking, and even indicated our arrival time through the pre-arrival survey email sent by the hotel. Still, no help was offered. A hotel without any backup room options? Unbelievable. My mother and I were left without accommodation in the middle of the night. The hotel offered no form of support or compensation — we were simply told we could sleep in the lobby. In the end, we had to go out at night, on our own, as two women visiting Paris for the first time, to find another hotel — which I managed to do under stress. We paid €200 for that emergency night. This expense was caused entirely by the hotel’s mistake and no one is willing to reimburse us. The room we eventually received was moderately clean. The bed linens had been changed.

- aimeehG2334NY (2/5): Avoid at all costs. Disgusting experience left and left immediately. - AVOID at all costs. The images are not at all what the rooms look like. There are stains on the carpets, the rooms are dated, old and falling apart. The bathroom is extremely small and broken tiles + plaster smears on the walls. The room was dark and just disgusting. The building was also under construction with entry was obstructed. The manager is quite frankly the rudest person I’ve met. Denying our complaints while the check-in man was nice there wasn’t anything he could do against her vile composure. I left immediately after seeing the room and they wouldn’t refund or offer anything. Horrible experience left me in a bad way financially and emotionally.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Selling small old room at the price of the better - First of all, there are 2 hotels in the same structure, Lennon by Avalon and Avalon, the first is very old and dirty, the second is better but they sell you the nice one, showing those pictures and then give you the horrible room at the same price! This should not be permitted and hotels.com should better review the listings and pictures of this hotel

- Phone (4/5): - 一泊なら何とか我慢できるレベル。 全水回りが半畳程に集結。 お風呂にドア的なものはあるが外れると面倒。トイレは流すボタンがわかりづらい。(タンクの向かって右上部にボタンがある。見えない。) 洗面台は小さすぎて苦労した。 エレベーターがボタンを押しても来ないし向かわない。 ２つ星だけどティッシュがあったのは評価できる。 スタッフがいい人だから、レノンじゃないほうのホテル(フロントが違う)に宿泊されたほうが賢明。
- Tracy (8/5): - We got the room on the 6th floor which was a bit dated but it did the job. Cleanliness could be improved as there was someone else’s hair on the bathroom floor and blood on the door. Location was convenient to the train station.

Room was okay, little bit outdated but very clean. Would definitely do with a new carpet as it was stained. Beds were very comfortable and the location is perfect.

Quite a bit of paint is chipping, you can tell there have been many leaks as the ceiling and walls are quite stained. Staff was incredibly polite and is very convenient for the bus! The sink was in the room, and the toilet was in a little triangular corner, put there as an afterthought. There must be a better way to use the space. Walls are very thin, I could hear my neighborss conversations. The elevator is microscopic. There is a second one but it leads only between floors, but not to the reception. Not indicated. The breakfast was sub standard, very few choices. The breakfast room towards the kitchen had no ventilation, we were choking already at 09:30am.

Family room was great layout, with 3 separate areas for the beds Lovely old building Negatives - I emailed hotel a week before visit to check if breakfast included - no reply On arrival, advised not included. Advised cost was 12 euros per adult and 6 euros per child. Asked if I had to book in advance and told we could just decide in the morning. Next morning, different member of staff ( who was however there as we'd been given the previous advice) wanted to charge 12 Euros each and insisted there was no difference for children. Advised breakfast rate was lowest if we'd booked before we arrived, higher at check-in then higher again if booked on the morning. We left and had breakfast in a cafe a few doors away for 7 euros each in the sunshine. Hotel stairwells were being renovated and will be lovely when finished. No advance warning. Not great trying to get up down an old winding staircase with 2 kids and suitcases whilst a trestle in the way without touching newly painted walls ( yes, there was a lift, but not for the last bit which was being decorated). Disappointing.

Voor een koppel zijn de bedden verschrikkelijk, het zijn twee kleine bedden naast elkaar geschoven die snachts constant uit elkaar gaan. De kamer is erg klein, we hadden 150 euro extra voor een balkon (4 nachten betaald), t had wat, maar beweegruimte was er niet. Het hotel is erg gehorig, je hoort je buren seks hebben, fijn voor hen, minder als je probeert te slapen. Bij aankomst, moest ik, ondanks dat het volledige bedrag vooraf betaald was en mijn credit card bekent is in het systeem van Hotels.com, een reservering op mijn kaart van 140 euro laten plaatsen, je zal maar geen credit card hebben. Overigens verbleven wij niet in het Lennon Hotel maar kregen we een kaartje voor het Avalon hotel. De lift van de lobby naar boven is erg ouderwets en traag, trek er de tijd voor uit om naar je kamer te gaan. De badkamer had opzich een goede douche maar leek wel uit de jaren 90 te stammen. Onze gootsteen bleef constant overlopen door verstopping, maar vanwege gebrek aan wil daar niet over geklaagd. Al met al een matig hotel met een prima locatie. De staf was OK, sommige erg aardig, andere de onaardigheid zelve.

- Berneta (4/5): - First morning, no water! Had a leak. Fine, I understand. Needs to be fixed. It was decided to bring plumbers in between 1-4 AM to fix. A lot of drilling was going on, loud talking in hallway and lot of door slamming. Finally ended 4am. Got no sleep that night. Asked front desk about it and response was only time to bring plumbers in!! Got no apology from front desk, nothing! No fore warning that the work would be done at that time. Was not a good experience.

- Raintrek (8/5): Lennon hotel is actually the Avalon, check in there. - First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6" as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3" and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. The water pressure was though very good and combined shower gel/shampoo is provided as are ample towels which are soft and clean. Room Location - My advice would be, do not accept room 100! It is the only room on the ground floor of the 'Lennon' part of the building. It is next to the stairs and lift and also a small social room. Just outside the window is a small terrace area for guests use. All combined, it can get very noisy. I do not feel guests were being overly noisy but rather they had no clue there was a guest room nearby. A failure of management really to make other guests aware that keeping the noise down might be polite to those in 100. Breakfast - If the buffet breakfast is included in your deal, take it as it offers a good start to the day. It is continental style. If you need a Full English, hello! This is France! Bread croissants including pain au chocolat, jams, fresh meats, yoghurts, fruit, butter, cheese, cereal, milk and so on as expected. Strangely, guests seem to be required to cook their own boiled eggs and toast. There are many coffees available from the machine though only one size of cup which seems strange with espresso! There is a varied choice of sitting some with views out to the street and others in what seems like a corridor, each to their own taste. Location of the Hotel - You have the address, check Street View on Google maps. It is an easy 4 minute walk to or from Gare Du Nord and the Eurostar terminal and a few more minutes to other Metro stations but all quite close. There are a huge amount of taxi just across the road and buses pass by frequently. The entire area concentrates on marriage in whatever form, one bridal store after another for what feels like forever, who knew they had so many marriages! Within a short walk are the comfort brands of McDonalds and Burger King. We did Hippopotamus and enjoyed that very much. For two of us it was around €68 including desert and drinks. A convenience store 'Monop' is just across the way for snack essentials and other basics you may have forgotten or need. For safety please be aware of cycle lanes. Very often they are part of the pavement either painted green or as small double width channels. Cycles have right of way and they do not take prisoners. As many are just at the edge of the pavement it is easy to walk into one after crossing a road, don't become a statistic! It seems sometimes like a race for speed between bikes and electric scooters though, don't be shocked to discover those electric scooters belting down the pavement. You will want to know what tourist sites you can get to. By the aforementioned public transport, just about anything. Within half hour walk you can get to Sacré-Coeur (Holy Merengue) and near that, Moulin Rouge. The former of those is nigh on impossible for anyone in a wheelchair. Apparently there is an entrance at the rear of the building but to avoid all steps seems impossible. Though the Basilica is 'free' there are signs everywhere saying to pay varying amounts of Euros for candles are whatever and electronic donation terminals. It felt very commercial to me and with the addition of the gift shop inside, all the more so. There are toilets down a huge staircase but they cannot be used for free. The queue to get in the church were around 20-30 minutes and there are more stairs to climb. No support is given to anyone disabled. If one wishes to visit the dome (nearly 300 steps), it is €7 per person. Moulin Rouge is free to look at but unless you are seeing a show, it doesn't serve much purpose short of taking pictures. The theatre store is rarely open. Remember too that this is the red light district and there are prostitutes and sex shops, be warned if taking children. at the limit of your half hour walk is one of the best views in Paris from the terrace of Galleries Lafayette. It is a huge department store. The top most floor is open space and spectacular views also right next door to the Opera. Services of the 'Hotel' - They may or may not offer early check in, it certainly wasn't offered to use when we arrived an hour early. We didn't need it but the lack of it being suggested seems that hoping they might could be a waste of time! We went early as we needed them to store our bags and my mobility scooter which died on me in London (Yes, it did totally change our plans). Both before check in and after check out they stored what we needed them to free of charge and were very helpful. I would suggest to the hotel that they have their accessible door open as the one they actually use at the Avalon has a small step whereas they have another with a slope they could use. For the price, if you want a budget hotel covering most your needs, this one might well work. It's no good if you have an expectation of luxury, a hot tub and room service. There is also a service charge at the hotel of around €4 for two nights which is common across France so don't blame who you booked with. Hotels dot com do mention it in their advertising.
- S (8/5): Good, shame about the noise. - A quick getaway in Paris as amazingly it was cheaper than staying in the UK! I chose it as it was very close to Gare Du Nord. Nowhere in Paris is perfect as it somewhat depends on what someone is there to see. The two closest sites are Moulin Rouge and Sacre Coeur within half hour walk. The price is good when booked in advance. If the breakfast is included accept it but do not pay extra for it as there are many places to eat nearby which will work out cheaper. They offer bag storage. Staff are mainly very friendly with the only downside being 'some' breakfast staff who didn't seem very happy in their roles. We stayed in room 100. My advice to the hotel is to let other guests know the room is there. The noise we had to tolerate was unacceptable but my feeling is because guests had no idea there was a room on the ground floor and it is the only one. We were disturbed up to at least midnight. We had to ask for them to open a mobility friendly door to allow a mobility scooter in the building which they were happy to do but, not much use when trying to get in! Room was comfortable though despite the noise. It was also services after each night. Just one pillow each which we found was enough but I guess someone would need to ask if they wanted two. The picture of a waiting area with a sink is effectively right next to room 100 but the door cannot be seen hence why so much noise.

- Beres1991 (8/5): Fantastic for the value - Fantastic value, stayed here for 3 nights and it’s perfect if you’re planning on being out and about most of the time, the location is great, couple minutes walk from the nearest metro and a 5-10 min walk from Gard Du Nord. We only used the hotel to get our heads down after busy days of exploring. Very easy to get to Disneyland Paris from here, just jump on the local Metro and change over to the line you need. The staff are excellent, kind and very helpful, they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The rooms do need a bit of a refresh, bring your own hairdryer as the one provided isn’t very good, but the bed is comfy and cleaners were fantastic and very friendly. The hotel is in walking distance to tourist spots such as the sacre coeur, moulin rogue and the wall of love. There’s also a fantastic bakery just on the corner as well as 3-5 min walk to local restaurants and we’ll known McDonalds/ Burger King Thank you Hotel Lennon for your hospitality!
- haylenan (8/5): Cozy hotel at convenient location - This is a small hotel at a convenient location 5 minutes of walking away from Gare Du Nord and within walking distance of Sacre Cœur. As we are from the US, it was beyond my expectation that the accommodations are so small here. The toilet was tiny and in a separate room with the shower AND the sink (so you have to walk out of the toilet with your dirty hands to wash your hands in the bathroom, which is kinda weird to me). The room is smaller than all hotel rooms I’ve been to in the US, but it brought cozy vibe so it’s ok. The area is safe with 24/7 front desk. Staff are friendly and helpful.
- E7727QZjoshk (10/5): Great Stay in Central Location - We stayed here in order to attend Roland Garros in May. Was in a very ideal location, and well worth the price we paid for it. Rooms were nice and spacious. Would return here on another visit to Paris.
- GHalliB (8/5): Great Location But Needs Modernising - Great wee boutique hotel within a 5 minute walk of the Gare Du Nord train station (the Charles Du Gaulle airport is connected to this station also). Tickets into the city centre are £1.90 single per person, so it's close enough to reach everything quickly and easily, but not in the typical tourist busy area. The hotel itself does need some refurbs done and the thin walls make it very noisy but the staff and location more than make up for that. The beds are quite hard and there is no air con. So be prepared to sleep with the windows open (bathroom too helped) but be aware the city "wakes up" very early... Great wee restaurants and bars nearby (shout out to Romy's). All in all a fab wee hotel which lends itself to a reasonable priced stay in a fairly expensive city.
- Su Ping (6/5): - The room is really super small. You can barely fit a large luggage in the room. There is a bathtub in the bathroom? Which i think the space can be better used for the room instead. There is also no fridge or any kettle in the room and barely any space to hang your clothes id you intend to.The soundproofing is very bad, you can literally hear everyone walking outside your room. The hotel was probably just refurbished? But honestly everything looks very old on the inside. Not to mention, the hot water is very unstable as well. However, the reception is pretty friendly.
- sallyc565 (8/5): Good hotel - The receptionist was very welcoming. The room was comfortable with a radiator which you could turn up. Everything quite clean. The bed was large and well made. The windows were balcony style which opened onto the street.
- ltweed (6/5): Close to Gare du Nord - Mainly my fault as it was the hottest day of the year and they don’t have air on! But on arrival receptionist very polite and efficient. Very close to Gare du Nord very clean and comfortable. Just no air con let it down. I asked the receptionist for a fan but we arrived after 6 and only staying overnight, he explained all the fans had been given out to other guests. Slept with windows open, quite noisy during the night and it was still warm even with windows open. Breakfast was in the next door hotel the Avalon, which was typically French, croissants, cheese and ham. Would I go again ….. maybe but I would make sure I order a fan.

- Noor (8/5): Fine, adequate, just don't plan on sleeping in. - It's basic, and great for a budget stay. I booked it because of how close it was to Gare du Nord. It's in a neighbourhood with plenty of activity. The only thing that was INCREDIBLY ANNOYING about the place was that you could not sleep in if you had a late night, there is no way to indicate "do not disturb". Housekeeping loudly knocked on my door, then yelled in French, and in my sleepy state I had to struggle to remember what French words I could use to say "come back later" or "no need". The lady kept trying to wake me up. I mean, I get it, maybe Parisians don't sleep later than 9, but it was definitely one of the most annoying things I've experienced in a hotel.
- Manana (6/5): Staying in Paris for two nights. - The location is great. The room was small, but ok for one night. The room was on the first floor, and there were lights whole night on the outside of building wall next to the window, so whole room was lighted up whole night. The hotel staff tried to turn off but couldn’t. Second, you couldn’t keep the toilet seat cover up, because it was not properly installed. The street is vety noisy. With open windows, too noisy to sleep. No air conditioner, so needed to keep the window open. Otherwise great location.
- Suzana (8/5): Good value room - Clean, comfortable room. We stayed on the top floor, overlooking the back, rather than the main street. It was quiet, although the doors slamming can't be helped. No shower, just a bath, which you can't stand up in as it's in the eaves and only one hook in the entire place - that definitely needs sorting, but considering the value, I think I'd stay again as it's so close to Gare du Nord.

- Florentine C. (10/5): Perfect for a first trip to Paris - We came here in May 2022 as a couple for our first trip to Paris. Professional staff, and the room looked exactly like the perfect, not too small and had everything we needed (no AC but it we didn't mind). Great location too, right next to many cafe's (perfect for breakfast) and 5 min by walk from the Gare du Nord (perfect for taking the RER or metro to get around/transport from the airport). Overall very nice stay!
