• Jean-Philippe (2/5): A éviter ! - L'appartement était spacieux et à 25 minutes à pied de plusieurs endroits à visiter (mosquée bleue, grand bazar, etc..). L'appartement du 2ème étage est très vétuste et très mal entretenu (robinet de la cuisine qui fuit, réfrigérateur qui gèle les aliments, porte de douche qui tombe et que nous avons du réparer, portes de placards et de chambres qui ne ferment pas correctement, wifi qui ne fonctionne pas dans les chambres, saleté/poussière, etc..). Les photos sur Booking ne reflètent pas du tout la réalité. Le paiement se fait à l'arrivée. Les personnes qui gèrent l'appartement, ont été très insistantes pour que nous payons en argent liquide puis ils nous ont proposé d'annuler la réservation sur Booking pour les payer en direct (en réduisant le prix de 15€). Nous avons refusé. Ils ont également été très insistants pour que nous utilisions plusieurs de leurs services (restaurant, excursion, navette aéroport) allant jusqu'à nous envoyer des SMS dans la nuit ou à venir sonner à notre porte. Les chambres donnent sur un cour avec un terrain de basket et chaque soir des jeunes jouaient jusqu'à 1h ou 2h du matin. Le bruit empêchait de dormir. Dans une des chambres, il y a un chauffe d'eau qui est à 50cm du lit (ce qui me semble dangereux) et qui fonctionne toute la nuit, empêchant également de dormir correctement. Il y a du côté des chambres une belle vue sur la mosquée bleue mais la vue du coté salon ne donne pas directement sur la mer et ce qu'on aperçoit c'est avant tout l'autoroute qui est juste avant. Je déconseille fortement de réserver cet appartement.

Apart from a few minor flaws, the apartment was clean. It's a place I would recommend. There are many restaurants in the area. On Mr. Salih's recommendation, we went to Bella Vista restaurant, which was very good. They gave many recommendations.

It was very clean, comfortable, and well prepared for our stay. The balcony was beautiful and one of our favorite parts of the apartment — we really enjoyed spending time there. The location was great, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We truly loved this place and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended! The living room is small but charming.

We waren er 5 dagen. werd niet schoongemaakt, geen schone handdoeken. Zag in de reviews dat hij dat eerder had gedaan. Intimiderende onaangename man die ons ontving. Kortom was een domper.
• Lilian (3/5): Sin mantenimiento ni limpieza - Cercanía al centro. La cama era cómoda y estaba limpia. El apartamento no tiene mantenimiento ni limpieza hace mucho tiempo. La mayoría de las fotos se corresponden pero serán antiguas de cuando se reformó. Ahora la realidad del mantenimiento y limpieza es otra. No recomiendo alojarse.

Wir haben uns bedroht gefühlt.

• Ekaterina (1/5): Ужасная дыра с хозяевами-рэкетирами. Грязь повсюду: грязный пол, засаленные диваны, разваливающиеся - Осторожно, это хозяева-мошенники! Квартира не соответствовала фотографиям отеля и не соответствовала минимальным требованиям к месту для проживания. УЖАСНО! Остерегайтесь! Ужасная дыра с хозяевами-рэкетирами. Грязь повсюду: грязный пол, засаленные диваны, разваливающиеся шкафы, темная грязная кухня без окон. Как только мы заехали, мы сказали, что не останемся, квартира грязная и пыльная, оставаться в ней было опасно для здоровья. Сначала агент стал предлагать нам увезти нас в другое место - 7 минут на мотоцикле - и дать другую квартиру. Потом пришел хозяин и согласился вернуть деньги, но не все, мы получили назад только 150 евро из 220. Осторожно, это скам! Квартира не соответствовала фотографиям отеля и не соответствовала минимальным требованиям к месту для проживания. УЖАСНО! Остерегайтесь!

Non abbiamo mai usato la cucina per la sporcizia e i mobili rotti, microonde non funzionante e stoviglie e tutto il resto di cui la sporcizia era regina da anni. Nelle stanze mobili rotti e sotto i letti e ovviamente anche mobili e divano sporcizia ovunque. Il bagno era una sporcizia indescrivibile, dentro la doccia pieno di muffa. Anche le lenzuola puzzavano. Le foto sul sito ci hanno ingannato nessuna é vera.

• Mohamed (10/5): - L'appartement que nous avions loué avait un problème, le propriétaire nous a directement envoyé dans un autre appartement plus grand et avec une vue sur la mer, et mieux placé,tout était parfait.Ils nous ont en plus aidé à monter et descendre les valises, ont accepté de garder nos valises après le check-out et ils nous ont même offert des pâtisseries à la fin. • Robert (10/5): Great location. Plenty of space. Good value. Enjoyed our stay. - This property had three seperate bedrooms (one room is the lounge with a bed in it) which was perfect for our family group. The main attractions (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilca Cistern, Grand Bazar) are a 15 minute walk up the hill. There is a small supermarket around the corner. The accommodation is not 5* but good value for the price and we really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful. There was a bit of a sales pitch for dinner at one of our hosts friend’s restaurant when we arrived which we took up but probably would have gone somewhere else according to our on inclination if left to our own devices. The shower head was not conveniently fixed to the wall. This could be fixed easily.

• Triomphe (4/5): Logement correct pour dormir mais pas pour y passer du temps - La disponibilité du personnel et l’emplacement central La veille de notre arrivée, j’ai été prévenu qu’un soi-disant problème de robinetterie rendait la chambre réservée indisponible, on nous en a certes proposé une autre un peu moins chère mais beaucoup moins bien (une chambre au lieu de deux, logement 3 fois plus petit et pas de terrasse), le tout s’est fait de manière à éviter une commission pour booking ; c’est tout bénéfice pour l’établissement) et le nouveau logement n’est pas dans le même hôtel.

La configuration 2+1 et la cuisine entièrement équipée rendent le séjour très agréable, même pour de longues périodes. L’emplacement est excellent – proche des principaux sites touristiques, avec toutes les commodités à proximité. Un lieu calme, sûr et parfait pour les familles. Je le recommande à tous ceux qui souhaitent découvrir Istanbul avec le confort d’un vrai chez-soi.

It had 3 rooms and a large balcony. Some negative comments scared me, but after arriving, we realized they were exaggerated and unnecessary. The landlord also gave my daughter a gift, and she was very happy. I would definitely recommend it. It's not very luxurious, but it's a nice place to stay with the family. nothing

Pulizia molto approssimativa. Alcuni portelli e cassetti delle stanze da letto con maniglie mancanti. I nostri amici che avevano un appartamento sotto il nostro che hanno rilevato i nostri stessi problemi hanno pure trovato uno scorpione nell’appartamento.Mi spiace ma la sensazione è che le foto presenti sul sito non corrispondano alla situazione attuale degli appartamenti

The host was extremely helpful and friendly throughout my stay. Their hospitality truly made the experience even better. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Le lit était confortable et l’espace supplémentaire rendait le séjour encore plus agréable. L’emplacement de l’hôtel est très pratique, proche des sites touristiques, des restaurants et des transports. Le personnel était très accueillant, serviable et toujours disponible en cas de besoin. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel à tous ceux qui recherchent une chambre grande, confortable et bien située. Je reviendrai avec plaisir !

• Vera (9/5): - Thanks so much to our managers. They are really great and helpful. The location is good. Not so far from Blue Mosque. There are two supermarkets close by. A lot of caffès here The apartment itself is good in general. Everything you need you can find in. But there was a couple of moments. The boiler is in the sleeping room and it is not very comfortable because of the smell and the noise of it. So we decided not to use this room and sleep in the living room.

• YU-JEN (9/5): - This apart hotel is on the European side, located in the bustling old town section, close to the train station, supermarkets, and restaurants, and also close to popular attractions, which are within a half-hour walk. It isn't new, but well-equipped. Before check-in, the staff thoughtfully created a WhatsApp group to provide 24-hour online service. When we arrived, the staff were already waiting at the entrance and carefully introduced everything about the room, providing useful information about nearby supermarkets and restaurants. The kitchen and bathroom need to be renovated again.

• Kishore (5/5): Interesting neighborhood; Old spacious apartment in need of maintenance, budget-stay, It's no Ritz - The best parts of the apartment were: * Location. Close to all attractions in Sultanahmet; Interesting old city feel and winding streets * Good water pressure! The apt is also spacious. * Hosts were helpful even after we expressed displeasure about the apartment; Host refilled towels, tissue etc and provided drying rack and fan to make up for no dryer. The bad parts: * We booked an apt w/Seaview with washing machine but the unit we got did not have in-unit W/D..they showed some old washer & dryer in a dirty basement; Booking.com reservation clearly showed that washing machine was included (and implied in-unit) but the Host was arguing that it was not so. Partly, booking.com gets the blame as they use stock photo for the listing and the photos of the room you book shows up afterwards. Regardless, washing machine was one of the main reasons for us to book an apartment as we travel light and counted on doing laundry as we go and I showed that the room we booked had clearly listed washing machine to be included. After all of this, the following day they moved us to a lower level apt with washer (no dryer) but no view, perhaps it was lower rate but there was no adjustment. * Host tried to offer discount by cancelling booking.com reservation (and have us pay a no-show fee) and he would pass on part of the booking.com fee to us; Also, he tried to ask for cash payments before we checked in via WhatsApp, when we insisted on keeping the booking.com reservation and using credit card he was trying to hustle by splitting payments and getting credit card to decline etc. I called my credit card company and sorted it out. Further, when using credit card he asked if I wanted to use Turkish Lira and I said Yes..turns out he used a generous conversion rate from Euro. Booking.com quoted me in Euros and I expected him to charge me in Euro but I instinctively said yes to Lira, but it ended up being about ~$15 more due to this conversion. Just the hustling nature turned us off. * This is not a well maintained apartment; Leaking toilet & sink, leaky fridge, dirty rugs, dirty sofa. It is an old apartment with uneven floors; cabinet doors that don't shut, etc. * In general, this is not a 5-star apartment with stellar reviews as shown in booking.

Все очень старое и изношенное. Кондиционеры, чайник, микроволновка, плита, абсолютно все. Холодильник натурально течет (под ногами лужа воды), дверь на балкон закрывается с большим трудом. Нет нормального держателя для душа, приходится держать дождик руками. Умывальник в сан узле ну прям крошечный. Попали в апартаменты случайно, сняли то что было поблизости и конечно были немного расстроены. Сотрудник отеля подарил презент на выезде и очень сильно настаивал на 10 на booking, но 10 они конечно не заслуживают. Цена-качество 7 максимум и то за чистоту.
• Michał (5/5): Dobra lokalizacja, ale przez 1 dzień bez prądu i wody - Bardzo dobra lokalizacja. Całe centrum Stambułu można zwiedzić pieszo. Płatny parking po drugiej stronie ulicy 15 EUR / doba. Na drugi dzień zamknięto ulicę i rozpoczęto wymianę instalacji. Na dworze było ponad 30 stopni, a my nie mieliśmy przez cały dzień wody i prądu. Zepsuło nam się jedzenie. Po całym dniu w upale nie mogliśmy się umyć ani skorzystać z toalety! Gospodarz przyniósł nam w ramach przeprosin czekoladki... Na drugi dzień przyszedł z pretensjami, że poinformowaliśmy Booking o zdarzeniu. Dostaliśmy od Booking rekompensatę 110 EUR.

• Erika (6/5): Sketchy experience with the host upon arrival. - The apartment fits our needs for this portion of our trip. Everyone had a bed, so it checked that box. And the air conditioning was nice. I feel like a little communication would have left us with a different experience. We arrived to the address the host sent at around 10:30pm and a couple guys on a moped told our driver the address was wrong and to follow them to the correct one. We followed them through the streets for about 4 minutes and started getting very nervous. We kept asking our driver if we should be nervous, if he thinks everything is ok, etc. Then we get to the apartment they say is ours and the two men bring us into the apartment (i recognized parts of it from the photos online, so it was the one we booked), show us each room and the amenities and ended in the living room/dining room where one asked us for payment for the apartment right there, saying that they don't take payment online through booking.com. He offered to wait while we checked our bank to make sure it hadn't already been charged, but when you're already nervous from two grown men on a moped driving you away from the address you thought was correct late at night, them being in the apartment with you for so long and then asking for money, you can't help but feel that something sketchy is happening. Like, we felt like we were going to get robbed or mugged or something. All ended up being ok, but it made my husband and two adult sons even get a pit in their stomach like something was about to go down. We felt unsafe and vulnerable and it was not a good impression to start our stay in Istanbul with. It would be nice if the host had told us what to expect, so make note for yourself: - The address provided is a general address of all of their listings. You will be met by a couple guys to take you to the address of the apartment you rented. - They will stay and walk you through and talk to you for too long. - You will be asked for payment in person at check in. Other than that, the apartment was ok. The most expensive and least nice of all the places we stayed.
