- Turgut (4/5): - I would say my stay at this hotel was the worst part of my trip. Luxurious hotel on a busy road. The manager said their rooms are sound proof: NOT. You hear even the laughter of people passing by from second floor. The hotel is located on a very busy road, four lanes, main transportation area. Internet is nonexistent. No service. Our bathroom got flooded after using the shower once, they said it is the drain, they came and cleaned it and the shower was still leaking water into the bathroom. We had to put towels everywhere. Rooftop bar was nice, breakfast passable, weird: they have salt and pepper in paper bags like you would see in a fast food chain. I would not stay in this hotel ever again.

- David (10/5): - Great location for getting to sought-after sites. Basically, midway between the Vatican and Colosseum (20 mins to each). As the hotel is a block away from a taxi stand, the staff can get you in a cab in 5 mins. Speaking of staff, they were extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive, be it the front desk, rooftop bar restaurant, or room. The room architecture was fantastic; brought elements of the Roman days into the experience. The bathroom stone work was fantastic, leaving me wanting to upgrade my own house bathroom! Breakfast was very good and offered a wide variety of food, sure to please everyone. Just had to figure out the daily 15 euro charge I found on my bill; seem to think that it was the morning coffee/tea that we ordered at breakfast each day? Would stay there again in the future. Note, just a few blocks away is the Pantheon with a ton of restaurants and shops, which we discovered while there

- Lori (10/5): Wonderful family stay - We loved our stay here. The triple room was clean, comfortable and roomy and perfect for my family of 3. I can’t imagine having a better location, we were within a short walk to everything we wanted to do. The breakfast at the rooftop restaurant was a highlight.
- Vinush (4/5): - The location was ideal for walking to alot of the sights. The room was definitely not as described and photos seemed a bit misleading with the size of the bed and room. The room was a bit dusty but bathroom was clean, as Expedia VIP we did receive a bottle of sparkling wine. We would have stayed at a few other VIP locations with lesser ratings but much much better service and upgrades. The bell staff and restaurant staff were very nice and helpful. All in all for the price point was not up to par.

The hotels location was also great being located only a 20 minute walk to to most historic sights. My only suggestion to everyone is to visit in. Spring time or Fall. Because the summer is brutal temperatures ranged between 98 and 105 durning our stay.

Also super close to Campo del Fiori and Piazza Navona which had a variety of stores and dining options especially for night owls. Our stay came with breakfast at the hotel rooftop. - Ernest James (10/5): - The property is in the center of everything. The Pantheon is a brief 5 minute walk away. The Trevie Fountain is 20 to 25 minutes away. Spanish steps is the same distance away.
- Douglas (6/5): Average Hotel with great location - Its an average hotel with a excellent location and a Rome city centre price tag. The standard rooms are very very small, almost too small to be comfortable. Our room had a window which opened in to an elevator shaft which meant we could not open the window for fresh air and we had to keep the curtains closed. The main hotel lift was also an issue. We used the stairs most of the time because it was slow to arrive or filled with staff, trolleys or maintenance workers. I am afraid this hotel's reputation is mainly due to the roof top bar. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had limited choice and was of average quality.

- sinaro (10/5): - This is an amazing place!! It’s not near the most busy part of the city however everything is accessible on foot within 5-20 minutes. It’s centrally located and easily accessible on bus and train as well. The staff is amazing. The hotel is clean and smells like honeysuckle. The roof top bar and breakfast is neat with an amazing view. We arrived to Rome very early at 8AM. We were just going to store our luggage and go out for a walk. Marco, the receptionist, checked us in early and told us all the spots to visit. The rooms are a bit tight especially the regular rooms however if you are just there to sleep, it’s not a big deal. That’s what we were there to do, have a nice place to shower, eat breakfast (included) and comfortable bed to sleep on. It’s a busy Main Street but the windows are thick and curtains even thicker. Blocks out all the light and noise. I would definitely go back to stay where. I LOVED IT!!

The room and interior spaces appear to be newly redone. The watch/clock motif adds special charm. The staff were uniformly helpful and fluent in English. This hotel has a stunning rooftop cocktail bar/restaurant with views of central Rome. Highly recommended!

Rooftop bar/restaurant with great views of Pantheon. Limited but good dinner menu, Breakfast however was simply fantastic.

Great roof top terrace for evening drinks. Very central location. Recently refurbished, so rooms and facilities were fresh and always clean.

The rooftop bar was just the perfect place for eating breakfast while viewing the pantheon, pre dinner and after dinner drinks. Really cool. Perfect for us and our adult daughters. Only small gripe was one of the two rooms we had was really pokey otherwise 10/10 for this fab hotel. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

- Stephen (10/5): Great find - We had a 5 day stay, in a family room. The room was luxurious and very comfortable. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. There were nice touches like the turn down service. The hotel was decorated in a luxury watch theme, which was done well, and would appeal the fans. The only small gripe was the restaurant used for breakfast had minimal indoor seating, probably not usually a problem, but 5 degrees in February it is uncomfortable eating outside. This could have been mitigated by the serving staff directing loan diners and couples to sit at 2 seater tables, because you often found there would be room if guest were encouraged to be more considerate!

- Graham (8/5): Central for most tourists attractions - Staff friendly room well maintained. House keeping as if by magic your towels were changed even put slippers out in evening for you, all without you ever seeing them. You wouldn't of known you were in the centre and everything as hotel had very good sound proofing make night time relaxing enough to recharge for the next day. Only downside for me was lack of restaurant space as for breakfast the bar was used which was too small for breakfast as everyone seemed to arrive around the same time.

Conveniently located within walking distance to the Pantheon, Trevi, Piazza Navona. Bit further to Colosseum but manageable. Hotel has the ‘watch’ theme, every room was given one of Rolex series watch. Stayed for 3 nights and we enjoyed our stay!
- Alicia (10/5): - Location to historic sites like the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Temple of Pompey are immensely close about 3 to 6 minutes by foot. The property is well maintained with free breakfast on their Roof Top lounge called Santa. More importantly, it is the staff that made the entire stay memorable. The gentleman named Marco in particular is the most professional, patient, accommodating, respectful, and courteous. He immediately satisfied my last minute request when I arrived. 10/10. Overall I would recommend this Hotel because of its location, the complementary breakfast, the rooftop lounge, and most importantly, the people that work there.
- abbyv2025 (2/5): Beautiful Hotel equals poor service ….. - We loved the look of the Hotel and had a nice greeting. Within minutes of arriving, the shower flooded and came out into our room. We were told they would send someone at 8AM so no shower for me. At 8AM, no show so I wasn’t able to shower to start my day because we had an early tour. Daniel promised a Jr Suite upgrade when we got back. He hid the remainder of our visit, and we got zero upgrade and no discount. Lily said management was not present so I was very disappointed on the service and the way we were treated. Our room should have been free based on ours room flooding and the lack of living up to what we were promised. I expect a refund.

- shakersteve (10/5): 3 Weeks at the L'Orologio - L'Orologio is a beautiful boutique hotel on a busy street in central Rome. Originally in a rather cramped room we decided to upgrade to a larger room, as we had a 20 day stay. The common areas are loaded with art work related to luxury watches as is the entire hotel. The entire hotel was very clean and the 24 hour staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Gym was tiny and barely sufficient. Quality windows blocked out most of the street noise. The room was short on storage space for clothing. Bathroom was spacious and more than adequate. Roberto, Daniel and Davide were very helpful at the front desk. Rooftop bar was a great place for drinks and relaxing. The same area served as a breakfast area which got crowded at times. Stefania and the breakfast staff were grace under pressure. Always a smile delivered with our coffees. We loved the hotel but those with mobility issues may have a bit of trouble with the entrance small elevator and tight breakfast area.
- jeffcQ8578BX (4/5): Not recommended! - Clean hotel and friendly staff but overpriced. Despite switching off the central heating, the room remained boiling and had to open the window which was over a busy street. They have a very small breakfast area so was asked to come back later one day and had to return within an hour or so. I wasn't in a hurry but this might have caused problems for me if it was another day.

We enjoyed a buffet breakfast every morning at the rooftop bar/restaurant. The breakfast was very well done. Our room was near perfection (I don't really know what a perfect room looks like but this was close).

- 71ElaineH (10/5): "Watch" this great hotel! - L'Orologio is located directly on Via Victor Emmanuelle, so expected it to be noisy and busy. We had a street-facing room and this hotel has done wonders with sound proofing! There's a disco across the street that plays music til the early hours and we could hardly hear them without opening the windows. That said, the rooms are small but VERY serviceable. Don't expect a comfy seating area in their typical double - but the closets are glamorous and you'll find everything you need in there and the well appointed bathrooms. The hotel slippers are the best we've ever used. The 'clock/watch' theme throughout the hotel is interesting and fun. Pay attention to the chimes in the elevator when your floor is reached and you'll recognize that tune. The real gem, of course, is the rooftop bar/restaurant. Breakfast up there every morning was beyond delightful (we had great weather, too!); and in the evenings, it serves a great dinner and stays open til 2 (well, that's when we closed it on a Saturday night) and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We were hoping to get a larger room and kept asking for availability before and during our stay but had no luck. The location is great - we'd definitely give this hotel another try IF we could score even a slightly bigger room!

The staff are all excellent, and from check in to check out the service they provide is incredible. The room was spotlessly clean and the mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable. Breakfast on the rooftop bar is a fabulous way to start the day and then returning on an evening for the amazing cocktails cannot be missed! The interactive menu offered lots of choice and the Saffron Gimlet is up there with the best cocktail myself and my partner have ever had. We only stayed for three nights but will definitely return, and next time for longer. Thank you to everyone involved in making our stay so perfect.

- Allyjamie (10/5): A Gem of a Boutique Hotel in a Nice Location - Very nice hotel with a good location. My room was small but nicely appointed. It was a little dark as it faced an alley but that worked for me as I arrived from the US early in the morning and needed to get some sleep during the day! I was able to check in early which was appreciated. The rooftop bar/restaurant is a huge plus with a wonderful evening view for cocktails and lovely place for breakfast. I was on my own and felt safe and comfortable.

I wish the air conditioning was a bit colder. Free breakfast each morning. Walking distance to all the main sights in the city. L’Orologio means “ the clock” so decor was all clocks and watches.
- Mirjana (6/5): - Unfortunately, this hotel is not entirely as advertised. Our room, bed and bathroom were fine, but there was a nasty big black mold stain on our bathroom ceiling. When we addressed the issue, they did move us to another room, but it’s confusing how they could miss such a massive black mold. The roof bar/patio is really lovely, but you can only use it until 10:30am, and after 5:30. They also rent it out for private events which are loud and annoying. The location is close enough to almost every attraction, but the street is quite ugly and garbage trucks early in the morning are super loud. The front desk staff are pretentious and not all speak very good English. Breakfast buffet is decent. None of it worth $800/night.

The bedrooms are light and airy and our room had a spacious en suite with walk in shower. Rooms had all necessary items...safe, coffee,fridge, water, ironing board and TV. The hotel has a perfect rooftop area which hosts breakfast, dinner, and bar..all with views of the city. Staff in bar and reception were all pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend L'Orologio which is also in a good location for visiting the sights

I love that they give slippers during your stay too. One thing we really appreciate is the hotel's walking distance to all important sites like the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Trajan's Column etc. We also appreciate that the front desk communicates very well. We hired a car through the hotel to pick us up from the airport to the hotel. This is a must do. Gave us peace of mind with our many luggages. The only downside is the airconditioning in our room which is bigger is not cold enough. I will definitely stay here again and tell friends and family about this wondeful hotel.
