• Ali (4/5): Not good value for money - The location is great. Value for money. No lift and you have sometimes to go upstairs for 4 floors. The receptionist is not helpful. I slept-over and i only allowed me 10 minutes to packup my luggage and take shower otherwise he said will charge me a whole night.

• Jadene (10/5): Ideal centraal location short stay! - Cannot fault our stay here. The location is perfect, 5/6 min from station, close to everything. The check in/out process was super easy! The staff were so lovely and extremely helpful. We initially booked a twin room, we arrived a bit early, (had notified staff of this) to do a bag drop, the kind gentleman offered us an upgrade free of charge to a family room with a double bed, single bed and with a little balcony (not much of a view, but still a nice plus) on the 2nd floor. One of the staff members carried our luggage up to the room also, which was a very small but kind gesture when you see the stairs. The stairs are very narrow and steep (typical of the Dutch style, so please be aware of this, if not suitable for you, as there is no other option), however this wasn’t an issue for us, only that it’s hard work after walking all day 😂 The room was a bit small, but perfectly suitable for 2 people for a 1 night stay, the bathroom is modern and clean. Check out is also at 12pm which is a nice touch, plus luggage storage pre-post checkout is a bonus! The stairs - Not an issue for us, but maybe for others as no lift

• Graham (3/5): Should be a 2 star maximum only because of location - extremely rundown and grubby. - Location Needs to be cleaned better, it’s very rundown. Very noisy as walls are as thin as paper - store cupboard behind room 1, meaning you were woken up every morning with the Hoover and other equipment being taken out.

• 237yig (2/5): Book at your own risk - Tiny room barely big enough for a double bed. Keep hitting my head on the wall frame that was sticking out. One of the most expensive with the lowest standard we’ve come across during this trip.
• J6212JJgaryp (2/5): Very poor experience. - the room was dirty. The shower flooded the bathroom, the sink drained very slowly, the pillows were stained the bed was dirty. The TV had lines throughout the picture. Also be aware there is no elevator so you have to climb a lot of stairs. I booked two nights but checked out after one. I asked for a refund for the second night which was refused. He said that he offered us a solution - change the pillows and clean the room so he would not give us credit for the night we did not stay. The rooms look nothing like shown on the web site.

Couldn't have got better location. The room wasn't big but it was clean, the bed was really comfortable and we were left fresh towels and shampoo bits too. The staff were lovely.

• Laure Helen (10/5): L’emplacement de l’hôtel était vraiment parfait pour tous nos déplacements aussi bien les tramways, le ferry ou aller à - Il est proche du centre et de la gare, et très facilement accessible dans une rue animée mais on entends rien du tout une fois dans la chambre. J’ai eu la chance d’avoir ma chambre prête avant l’heure du check-in. Le réceptionniste est vraiment gentil et attentionnée, je n’hésiterai pas à revenir avec plaisir. L’escalier raide pour accéder à la réception peut effrayer. C’est typique des maisons néerlandaises du centre donc on s’y fait. Heureusement que j’avais une petite valise.

Walk out of the door and everything is there. Stairs are very steep but the kind gentleman at reception gave me the first floor room as the eldest of the group ( I'm 46 ) 🙃😂 the younger ones had the other two floors all very clean, beds changed every day and we were made a coffee in the mornings by the owner,nice guy happy to help with anything and they also let us leave our luggage with them as we had a late flight. Will definitely stay again. Thanks again Louise and children 🙂

For 3 people in a room with a large bed and a single bed, the space was extremely limited. No place to put your bags. Also no closet nor fridge inside the room.

Abebe was very helpful at keeping our luggage during our excursion and he even helped us to take our luggage upstairs yo our room. Muty was a great guy who helped finding my son's IPad. He did such a great job. I would only recommend the travelers that are staying here to bring just small luggage because the do not have a lift. The place is not for people with mobility problems.
