- Lampros (10/5): - Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία 3 λεπτά από τη πλατεία Taksim. Ζεστό και καθαρό δωμάτιο. Ακριβώς δίπλα υπήρχε φαρμακειο και mini market. Το προσωπικό ήταν ευγενικό και πρόθυμο να εξυπηρετήσει. Θα ήθελα περισσότερες υποδοχές για τις πετσέτες του μπάνιου (υπήρχαν μόνο 2).

The Bursa tour, organized by the hotel staff at a discounted price, went smoothly and was very enjoyable. They completed the service with a farewell and a punctual airport return taxi transfer. I will stay here again.

- Tobias (10/5): - The staff were kind, attentive, and helpful. The VIP airport pick-up and Turkish hammam/spa service organized by the hotel were excellent. The hotel is very close to Taksim Square. The rooms were warm.

But on the 1st floor - the sound of the neighbors walking in the room above was really loud. Either the neighbors were that loud, or there is an issue with soundproof of the floor/ceiling

- Nikola (10/5): Pleased - Although the hotel is centrally located, it was quiet without any nightclubs or noise. It's a family hotel, and not accepting outside guests is a good rule. The staff takes great care of the guests, you feel at your home. The rooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable. Additionally, the VIP pick up service from Sabiha Gökçen Airport at a reasonable price worked smoothly, and the staff established good communication.

Very welcoming and helpful once we arrived. Hotel is in a great location close to Taksim square where there are tons of shops and restaurants on roads off of the square. It’s a basic property on a side street but it’s comfortable and clean. We’d definitely book again.

Staff were super friendly, helped us book tours, and made sure we had everything we needed - I had an amazing five-day stay at ROCO Beyoğlu with my sister. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. They assisted us in booking some fantastic tours, including a Bosphorus dinner cruise and a city tour by cruise. Special thanks to the receptionist who went above and beyond to help us (I unfortunately don’t recall his name, but he was fantastic). The location was also perfect – right next to Taksim Square, with everything we needed within walking distance, from restaurants and cafés to small grocery shops, many of which stayed open late. I highly recommend this hotel!

- Lee (9/5): A hidden gem we’re so glad we discovered! - We booked just one night, but this place completely won us over — we ended up staying for a whole week! Our ground-floor room opened to a charming courtyard, perfect for sipping coffee in the quiet morning air. The staff were warm and attentive, with a special mention to Aris, who went out of his way to make our stay memorable. His recommendation for the Bosphorus sunset cruise on our first day became the highlight of our trip. Our ground-floor room was conveniently located next to the reception and lobby, which made access easy. However, at times we could hear voices late at night — likely from guests checking in. It wasn’t a major issue, as we were too tired from exploring the city during the day.
- christine (9/5): - Walking distance to Taksim square and major bus station that links you to lots of areas Everything you need close by (a shop downstairs and restaurants nearby) The reception is manned 24hrs Room is cleaned daily which was such a luxury, new towels each day and refresh on tea, coffee and small tub of water. Perfect for a short stay and if you wanted to a place well connected to get to major tourist areas within Istanbul. I was a solo female traveller and it was a great room, place, and location. Aircon was number 1 lol Looked exactly like the photos. Shower door was hard to close and kept opening lol and the shower could've done with a deeper clean, but saying that I am quite fussy on bathrooms! But overall the place was clean, comfy, spacious and everything you needed for a short stay / home base.

Staff were super friendly and easy to communicate with. Check-in and check-out were smooth and quick. The airport shuttle worked perfectly. Overall, a really pleasant experience. - Abdulla (7/5): Pretty good for the price, friendly staff - The staff were very friendly and helpful, we forgot our safe pin just before we were checking out and the staff were able to sort it out quickly. They helped us with our bags and were welcoming. Very peaceful hotel, and well maintained. Room had very limited storage space, especially since we were three people. There was no wardrobe, but maybe this is clear from the pictures. They do provide hangers, but again quite limited. In the washroom, the wash basin was a bit hard to use as the cabinet was right above and quite low, which ended up with water all over the floors when we used the basin.
- Ruslan (10/5): Wonderful vacation in Istanbul near Taksim - We liked the rooms we stayed in because they were comfortable and had everything we needed to stay at the hotel. The location is quite convenient for tourists, because it was possible to get to the most popular attractions in a relatively short time. The staff is helpful and very kind, I always got an answer to any of my questions. I would like to express my special gratitude to every employee of the hotel! Since we were in a relatively cold period of time, the rooms were a little chilly. However, this problem was solved by the heating mode in the room air conditioner.

- Fatima (10/5): Lovely Istanbul experience - We had a great experience at Roco hotel. The location is perfect and the staff was very nice and friendly, always ready to help. They also helped us book a Semazen show with a discounted rate which was highly appreciated. I recommend staying at Roco and will definitely go back again.

- Cristina (8/5): Very good - The location is great, close to Taksim Square and to the airport shuttle bus stop. The room we had was very nice. The hotel also has a nice terrace from where you can enjoy the sunset. The bathroom door was super squeaky, the overall sound isolation. of the room is not great. We could hear our upstairs neighbours walking as well as the call to prayer which was very loud compared to the other place we stayed at.

Deluxe room is spacious which a rare find in Istanbul! Room & bathroom are newly decorated in simple modern style. Room is exact like pictures. Elevator is big and works efficiently another rare find in Istanbul. It is not a fancy hotel. It is a small modern very cozy well maintained boutique hotel. There is small terrace on the six floor We could hear people’s footsteps in the room above at times because rooms have wooden floor which is beautiful but noisy.Hotel should improve Sound insulation.

- Georgios (5/5): The stay was average — good location but several shortcomings. - The room was okay and clean, but the bathroom definitely needed improvement. It wasn’t very clean, and the shower faucet was leaking, causing water to splash everywhere, which made it difficult to take a proper shower. After finishing, when I tried to dry myself, the towel left white lint all over my body, which was very frustrating and made me feel like I needed to shower again. The quality of the towel was very poor. The location was good, right next to Taksim Square, but the property is located at the top of a hill, which made it quite tiring to reach after a long day. The heating in the room also had some issues. The air conditioning unit wasn’t working properly even though it was on, and the only source of heat was a small heating element that didn’t work initially — we had to call the staff to come and fix it.

- Arvaniti (8/5): Very good - it was really close to taksim square so the metro and buses that took us to the centre were really close. it was very close to the mosque and every morning at 6:30 it would wake us up. Also there were doing constructions really close to the hotel but it was only annoying in the morning since we were out all day

The room was spacious and very comfortable, making it easy to relax. The overall facility had a cozy and inviting atmosphere. I also appreciated the safebox option, which added extra security for my valuables. Would definitely stay here again! towels were not changes but only folded and put into their places / The waterflow in the bathroom was very poor which resulted in an uncomfortable use everytime of the bathrrom as well as shower since the handle was broken. The sheets were also not changed. The floor had a crack. Everytime my next door neighboor had a smoke I could smell everything and I would wake up even though I think the rooms are non-smoking. Also very thin walls.

- April (9/5): Had a very lovely stay with roco beyoglu. I highly recommend this to everyone. - Location is perfect. Everything you need is just around the corner. Near to Havaist bus drop/pick up point in Taksim, money changer, shopping centre, restaurant, pharmacy, bus and train station. The room is clean, huge and beautiful. They change our used towels and clean our room every day. We were surprised as they upgrade our room into deluxe room when we arrived. This is perfect for solo travelers as well. Its very safe and they were so kind. Thank you so much Roco staff. only the noise outside. We can hear the vehicles and pub music. I am just quite sensitive with noise but I used earplugs so I still had a pleasant sleep

The location is perfect, right in the heart of the Taksim district and close to all transportation. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, and the rooms are spotless. We’ll definitely come back! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 What I didn’t appreciate was the noise from people using the stairs or walking above us However, this issue can easily be solved by using earplugs 😉

- Ulco (10/5): A perfect starting point for visiting Istanbul - A very nice small hotel on a perfect location. On a 3-4 minutes walking distance from Taksim Square an Metro station. To the Havabus busstop for Sabiha Gökcen airport is a 7 min walk. All hotel personnel very friendly and helpful, on duty 24/7. The room (no. 4, street side) was nice and clean, water boiler, water, coffee and tea available. We would definitly go there again on a next visit.

- Reza (2/5): - This hotel is totally in poor condition. Toilet bidet not working, shower head damaged, wardrobe out of order and light comes inside even at night room doesn’t become dark. So many issues with the condition. No phone in the room, no service whatsoever. Walls and floors totally transfer the noise and even a normal walk from upstairs can be heard loudly. Area is absolutely the worst location in Taksim area, messy, dirty and unsafe. On top of that, the receptionist banged on my door loudly trying to fix an issue that was due to his negligence. Stressed me out by knocking on the door aggressively. Tried to cancel the booking but they didn’t accept. Left the hotel, booked another place and couldn’t get any money back for another 6 nights that I wasn’t using the room. Worst hotel experience I have ever had. Please help yourself and book something more decent. This ruined my trip.
- Alexander (10/5): - The hotel is in a great condition, very well located, walkable. The room waa clean and beautiful. You find a lot of places close by to eat and go for drinks. There is a bus you can take from IST Airport that take you like two bloks away from the hotel, so, very easy to get there from the airport, no need to pay a taxi. There were two guys at the reception desk by the moment we arrived, they were very kind and helpful, very informative about the aerea around. Their names are Aris and Onur, very nices guys. I do recommend the hotel very very much.
