• Amy (8/5): This was a convenient location for my stay in Ushuaia that meant I was close to everything in town. - Ushuaia is built on steep hills so it is important to get somewhere that is not too many streets up from the main street. The location of this hotel was very walkable. Serious stairs up and down to the rooms which curved around and were tricky with luggage. Definitely not accessible for someone who was older or finds stairs tricky.

El desayuno MUY bpueno y abundante, con frutas, jamón, queso, panes, huevos revueltos, tortas sencillas, medias lunas caseras, un budín húmedo delicioso y la amable y cálida atención de la señorita que nos atendía. Las habitaciones q dan a la calle no son recomendables. Hace falta bastante más luz en las habitaciones y en el estar. La música en el estar un poco alta.

The toilet was broken and would not stop running or didn't work at all and truly needed replacing. There was no hot water, only one electrical outlet in the room, and no amenities like shampoo. There was insufficient lighting in the room. The living room/lobby furniture was very uncomfortable as the springs were shot. I would not recommend this hotel.

• Venkatesh (2/5): Disastrous! - Looks good from outside. Common area is good. One front desk person tried to be helpful. This is not a hotel. It is a hostel at best. I am not sure why it is getting such high ratings. They are super pricy for a hostel type accommodation. Room # 2 was right next to the street and the windows did not close/seal. We could hear people that walk by talking and the traffic was constant. We also could hear the loud noise from upstairs rooms when they walked around. We could not get a wink of sleep the first night. Front desk tried to fix it desperately but could not. They said they would give us a discount. But the next day, after more complaints, they moved us to another room downstairs. They did not provide any discount, as they claimed that room 4, was apparently an upgrade! The room was mold infested and had water damage all over. It is downright disgusting how they are cheating people. Only bright spot was the front desk person that tried to help, but did not go far enough. Breakfast was very minimal. Please do yourselves a favor and stay far away from this place, if you want to enjoy Ushuaia.

• Sanjay (6/5): Good location and staff but small rooms. - The staff in the evening was helpful in assisting us with food when my husband got sick, the service was great! We requested early check in (no charge) but the room provided was very small and lots of noise at night from outside and upper floors even after 11pm, could not sleep at all.. lesson learnt from other experience too not to ask for early check-in:( even after payment some places provide a cheaper room.
• Harry (10/5): Nice place, well located and amazing staff - The staff were incredible and were super flexible with our stay. Great shared space and nice breakfast.
• Delle (3/5): Details matter! Get an investment group to bevy-up Flor Austral. - Inviting exterior (architecture), signally a particular warmth inside. The interior is shabby. The carpeting and curtains should be removed and or replaced. The place reeks of mold and or mildew and is evident on the walls and ceiling and no doubt is in the carpeting — FYI dust built up in the corners harbor micro-organisms. The price of the room is not representative of the quality - compared to the accommodation we had in Rio Grande at the Himmel Haus, All properties listed by Bookings.com need to be qualified, rated and priced accordingly. There should be a strict adherence to a code/standard! Go back to the B&B I booked in NZ last December (about the 26th), near Farewell Spit - we had to pass, going and coming,the hostess’ lingerie hanging out to dry when we arrived and onto the next day!!
• Michael (9/5): A great place in a wonderful location with an exceptional staff - The staff especially were extremely friendly. They were always moving around, saying hello, asking if we need anything, and providing if possible. The common rooms are really beautiful The rooms are a little dingy. I think some of them should be remodeled a little bit. Also, the blinds didn’t cover the entire window
• Helene (9/5): Nice place to stay in Ushuaia. - Very helpful staff, great communication concerning excursions and restaurants in town. rooms are fine and bathroom OK. Breakfast is OK, you can order what you like.

• Sally (10/5): 4 day visit to Ushuaia for hiking and nature. - Cosy lounge and dining area with lovely view, despite new construction blocking part of it. Staff were outstanding - very helpful and friendly. Assisted with reservations for activities and restaurants. Noise of construction during the day.. but we were forewarned and it didn’t bother us much.
• Dominique (6/5): Pleasant - Very charming faculity, super attentive staff. They speak perfect English. Our room was on the ground floor. It felt like we heard anything and everything that was happening. The main door opening, a fellow guest upstairs moving etc. The facilities were all fine, but showed signs of wear. In view of the price and the pricing in USD rather than ARS it felt expensive given that we ended up sleeping with earplugs. We cannot compare to other hotels in Ushuaia though.
• Claudia (10/5): Hermos Hostería a una cuadra del centro - Pasamos unos días extraordinarios en Ushuaia hospedados en esta hermosa hostería. Calidez, preciosa vista, excelente servicio, muy buena limpieza, súper cerca de la zona céntrica y un riquísimo desayuno han contribuído a que nuestras sean inolvidables.
