- N (8/5): Very handy if attending events at Tobacco Doc 5 mins walk - Great location, 12 minutes walk from nearest train station. Clean & secure. We booked a twin room but due to the small size the 2 beds were made up as separate but were still pushed together, so it was basically a double bed with 2 single duvets. It was ok but wouldn’t suit everyone if you don’t want to share a bed effectively.

La zona è silenziosa e ho dormito benissimo (non sono stata il weekend quindi non so se con il pub in festa, sotto, si sente rumore). Bella anche la zona, comodo il supermercato praticamente sotto casa e il bar per le colazioni. Comodo alla fermata della metro e del bus. Lo staff lascia acqua, succo e snack all’arrivo :-) Ps. C’è Wi-Fi (gratuito) a differenza di quando scritto su Booking. La camera un po’ piccolina e anche il bagno, non c’era molto posto per appoggiare asciugamani/beauty.

- ELISABETH (10/5): Hebergement typique londonien dans un chouette quartier - Hotel super charmant et typique au dessus d'un pub. J'y suis allée du jeudi au samedi matin et c'était calme le soir mais peut etre que le samedi soir, ca peut etre animé. La chambre etait superbe, spacieuse, grande, lumineuse, très agréable. L'hotel est juste à coté de la station de metro Wapping mais on est pas loin à pied de la tour de londres (15 mn environ). Il y a un petit supermarché et un restaurant juste en face donc super pratique. La localisation, meme si elle semble un peu eloignée du coeur de londres, est en fait super bien car plus calme et très bien desservie par le metro. C'est un bon plan.

- Sally (6/5): Glad it was only for 2 nights, was handy for what we wanted to do. - It was near to the train station. Bed was very comfortable. Grateful for the water, juice and snack bars as nowhere to get a breakfast. We had room 9 which was on ground level, room was very nice but there was a droning noise that coming on all night, sounded like a heating system or something, kept us awake. Then at 7.30 somebody was cleaning the beer garden right outside our room and woke us up again. The main shower head needed descaling I think, and the little head wasn’t attached to the wall so you had to hold it and wash, not ideal.

A beautiful and clean room ,comfortable bed, with a full size shower room .The added extras orange juice, bottled water and breakfast bars was gratefully appreciated. .I'd definitely recommend and definitely will be staying again .The whole surrounding area was quiet, clean sheets and even the tube station had plants outside the entrance/ exit and we felt very safe walking back late at night .great location too . Approx 1 mile walk to the town Bridge/ St Katherine docks/ Tower of London Nothing

My room as clean and comfortable. There was a nice surprise of snacks, water and juice supplied in the room. I ate in the bar and the food was good All as expected
- Linda (9/5): A great find - Location was really convenient, nice and quiet at night, great transport links, nice feel to the area.. Staff very friendly. Room well decorated and very clean. We'd definitely stay again. Couple of small maintenance issues that need addressing and our room was a very small double so not much room to move round the bed. So a tall person might be advised to avoid Room 1 as they might hit their head on the wall unit.

Ansonsten sind die Zimmer typisch für London,halt Recht klein, was man allerdings wissen sollte, ist also kein Minuspunkt.

- Katie (6/5): Good to stay for a social visit, perhaps not for work - Can't fault the staff enough, the lady that showed me to my room was lovely! You could tell they'd put a lot of effort into making the room look inviting, the bed was very comfortable and there was free free drinks and snacks which is always an added bonus. The food in the pub is really good, I'd recommend eating there if you stay. There's also a Sainsbury's opposite which you can grab breakfast from. Location is good, its a 30 min walk along the river to Tower Bridge. Unfortunately its very loud, you're above a pub and opposite another so if you're a light sleeper then this isn't the place for you (admittedly it was St Paddys Day so probably louder than usual). The emergency light above the door is right by the bed and outrageously bright, I understand its a legal requirement but there is definitely a happy medium somewhere in between. Again if you're light sensitive this isn't the place for you.

- Leon (4/5): Not good value for money - The location was good for my event and there are alot shops close by. Bed was nice and room was very accessible. The carpet was dirty in the room, the TV did not work properly, the shower was broken and window did not open.

Everything is very clean and well presented. The shower in our room (room 1) was too hot to use. There was no way of turning it down low enough to be able to get under the shower head without being scalded.

But you can't go wrong staying here. Road outside can an be a bit busy in the morning. Deliveries etc. 🤷♂️🤷♂️

As ever the bed was comfortable and the bedding pristine. Great bathroom and lovely towels. Good supply of drinks including bottles f Orange juice and water, plus some snacks. The staff are friendly and helpful . Would prefer mugs as an alternative to small tea cups.

Single glazing in 2 windows in the bedroom and 1 in the bathroom meant that the room was chilly and the bathroom was too cold to have a shower! Also one of the bedroom windows didn't close properly. It was also very noisy due to the single glazing. The blinds were totally inadequate.

- dani (2/5): Disappointed - Comfy mattress Room was ridiculously tiny and freezing cold. Window was open when we arrived and it was 5 degrees yesterday. We needed to ask for extra heaters and it took around 2 hours to heat up. The decor is very warn. The bathroom didn’t have any hand wash or lotion. For 2 people it would have been nice to have 2 sets but nothing. The music in the bar was played quite loud until Monday plus it was around 11pm it stopped. The smell of marijuana was quite noticeable from people outside the bar (may not be anything to do with the bar) however not ideal for a pregnant woman

Jus d’orange, eau et barres céréales mis à disposition. Propre Petite chambre pour un séjour de 7 jours, surtout comparé au prix, mais convenable pour 3 jours de voyage. Douche fonctionnelle mais le pommeau ne tient pas et la température était brûlante sans possibilité de réduire. Très mal isolé, l’air passait à travers les fenêtres + condensation à l’intérieur de l’hébergement. Mal isolé également au niveau sonore puisque nous entendions la musique du bar aussi forte que si nous y étions

- Kessel van (8/5): Prima plek voor een paar dagen in London - Heerlijk bed, lekker dichtbij de metro, supermarktje voor de deur. Het zit boven een pub dus houdt rekening met wat geluid van muziek in het weekend. Wij hebben er prima doorheen geslapen met oordoppen in.

- Hannah (9/5): Comfortable stay in lovely neighbourhood - Lovely location on a quiet street with a few shops and cafes nearby. Easy to check in, just go to the bar and you are shown to your room. Access to the room is through the garden and a locked external gate. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable with 2 big pillows per person. Nice bathroom and shower, and the room was cozy and dark. The room opened straight onto the pub garden which in the summer may be a bit disconcerting (there was only 1 room like this). Although there's a lock on the door, it would have been reassuring to have a secondary lock, such as a bolt or chain while in the room. There was a bit of noise but to be expected in a pub room, and nothing that kept me awake.
- Nicola (9/5): - Excellent sized rooms, very clean and comfortable. Flexible check in time, easy check out. Great selection of drinks and breakfast items in the room. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in that area of London.
- Jürgen (3/5): Gute Lage, kein Schlaf - Die Lage ist nahe der U-Bahn-Station und man kann schnell die City erreichen. Neben unserem Zimmerfenster sind Rückkühlgeräte auf dem Dach installiert. Die Geräte laufen die ganze Nacht und den ganzen Tag und verbreiten einen Höllenlärm. An Schlaf war kaum zu denken.

- Andy (9/5): Great value - Lovely room , tea coffee, juice and snacks more than you would expect for the price Emergency lighting in the room and bathroom is too bright - made if a little difficult to sleep. Would be 6 stars otherwise
