• Marina (8/5): Fantastic location, clean and comfortable but basic. - Fantastic location to get to and from the airport. Close to shops and restaurant. Comfortable beds, very clean and renovated bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. No elevator, which is difficult when you are on the top floor (with heavy suitcases). The water in the shower took forever to heat up and sometimes didn’t. No tea/ coffee or fridge in the room as it was too small, although facilities were available on one of the levels.

Lovely clean warm and homely feeling guest house. Warm, comfy tiny room for me at the top of the stairs. Really appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee. Lovely. Not the best noise proofing and guests arriving late can be noisy.

Friendly welcome at 10.30pm, very clean and tidy room. Lots of pubs and restaurants nearby Its a 2* hotel so not many facilities but ideal for an overnight stay

• Laura (1/5): Loud, no lift and missing compassion in an emergency - Location, although it is very noisy from the underground trains. On their website, the hotel presents itself as a “family-run, caring hotel” but my experience was the opposite of this. I had a serious emergency while staying at the hotel. I informed them of this, but their response back was uncaring and unhelpful, basically saying get your things by the time of checkout or we will donate them to charity. Not even a response of compassion or an offer of any flexibility. When I arrived to collect my things, I was clearly in a bad way and the staff were aware of the emergency. I had to carry my suitcase down the four floors myself, almost falling down the staircase at the top (there’s no lift by the way). There was no offer of help from the staff or even a “sorry to hear that’s happened to you”. Disappointing to say the least.

But either lower the price to match what you get or step up the ammenities and service - The location was great for restaurants and being close to Paddington station if you need to get to the airport. The room was cute but insanely small for the price. Absurd. $260 for a room that can’t accommodate a suitcase, no conditioner, no amenities at all actually. Not even a bottle of water.

• Yael (10/5): - A small hotel in an excellent location, just steps from Paddington Station. Great value for money. I stayed in a modest, clean and functional room. As quiet was important to me, I was given a room on the third floor — there is no lift, but this is a historic building, which is also part of its charm. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

• Francisco Javier (9/5): Muy buena estancia, repetiría sin duda (aunque no en las plantas bajas) - Está en una muy buena ubicación, puedes llegar en metro a cualquier lugar. Alojamiento muy limpio, con recepción abierta las 24h, todo bastante nuevo y con buenos acabados. La habitación estaba muy bien, quizás algo pequeña, aunque para el tiempo que pasas en ella tampoco ha sido un problema. No tienen restaurante pero hay rincones para hacerte té o café, además de una máquina dispensadora donde puedes comprar agua, chocolatinas… El único “pero” que tengo es algo que se menciona mucho en otras reseñas, el ruido de los trenes. Si tienes el sueño ligero probablemente te despierte. Yo estaba en la segunda planta y se escuchaba algo, además de sentir la ligera vibración del edificio. Probablemente en plantas más bajas lo hubiese pasado mal.

• DAMIEN JADE (8/5): Clean, practical, friendly - Really clean, really friendly professional staff - everything I asked for they had: iron, luggage scales, receiving parcels. The shower was nice with good water pressure. I would probably stay here again. Well there's no lift so that can be really difficult for some as there are 3 or 4 floors. The single room I had, different from many other similar townhouse-based hotels in the area, no tea and coffee in the room or wardrobe as it was too small. Just room on the floor for a luggage and to open the doors. It did have cupboards and a small safe. I thought it was cute that there was the shudder of the passing underground train every 5-10 minutes (even on the 3rd floor) but I put it in this section because not everybody loves that.

The Hotel is cozy and cute, they take care of every detail to make it look like a English vibe The people on Reception are nice and always ready to help. I would stay here again, by sure. It was hard at the beginning with the luggage going up 3 floor without lift, if you are no to stair, don't stay here, or if you are claustrophobic, because everything in the Hotel is small. The room for 2 was ok enough, but after 3 nights starts feeling a bit trapped.

• Stephen (10/5): Will be returning soon! - Great location, but honestly, this may have been the cleanest hotel room and bathroom we've stayed in for years. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Yes, you can hear the subway below until about 11 at night, then it was quiet until about 6:30 AM. (sounded like a thunderstorm) This place was so nice that we've canceled an upcoming stay at another property and will be returning to St. David's next weekend. Absolutely nothing we can think of.

• Nick (7/5): Prima uitvalsbasis voor een korte trip naar Londen - De locatie vlakbij Paddington Station is uitstekend. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en de kamer was schoon. De kamers zijn niet groot en er is weinig ruimte om bagage uit te pakken. Wij hadden enkel een een rugtas en dat was te doen, maar met koffers zal het wel krap zijn.

• Edward (10/5): - Great Location close to transport Hubs our room overlooked the park outside, the room was very clean and I liked the decor great attention to detail and nicely finished,the staff were very friendly and helpful would definitely stay there again. As mentioned it has one of the underground lines running underneath but apart from the odd rattle it didn't bother me and I slept fine.

Buena localización, al lado del metro y con mucha opción de restaurantes. Nos alojamos en una habitación doble pequeña y el tamaño de la habitación y del baño son un poco justos.

Don’t understand people who complain about hearing/feeling trains underneath - for me it was quite soothing. Could hear the person next door snore (although it’s more of that person’s problem than the hotel’s)
