• Verified traveler (4/5): - One sheet with blood stains on it. Quite a bit of noise from the park below. There were a lot of visitors in town that night, so hotels were in short demand. I did like that I could leave my luggage with the hotel before the room was ready.
• Cathy (8/5): - Great location and great value. Staff could have been more friendly and communicated better. Mattress in room awful definitely needs replaced and room is small. Otherwise good overall for what I needed. Couldn't stay longer than the one night though.
• Sonny (4/5): - I don't mind staying in something like a YHA, if I'm paying YHA prices, but I was charged over £210 per night (!) to stay in the most basic of rooms. The charge was extortionate for what it was, which was basically a bed and shower. There was no tea, coffee or water in the room. There was no hangers to hang up my clothes in the wardrobe and when I asked at reception, I was given 1 (one) only. I have paid far less for a room in cities such as Singapore and Dubai which also included breakfast and daily room service. Yugo (Kavanagh Court) did not offer either for £210 per night. I think for £210 per night, there should be a minimum service level provided and this accommodation was very far from that. Greed is a word I would use to describe the owner of this accommodation.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Beware: Three quarter beds! - A short weekend trip to Dublin to watch Leeds vs AC Milan in the pre season. Just needed somewhere cheap and clean to lay our heads. The set up and rooms etc were all fine. But the three quarter sized beds are not ok for two people. It was super hot with no ventilation and not enough space. I imagine it would have been fine for a solo traveller, but this shouldn’t be advertised as a double!

• Matthew (6/5): - The check-in was quick, the room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. A sticker in the bathroom asks occupants not to flush anything, but they should put a bin in the bathroom, as you would not dispose of shatwipes in the bedroom bin. The room has a view over the courtyard; it would have been good to see Irish flags fluttering in the breeze. The room was 26.9 degrees and the air conditioning was not working, which made for oppressive conditions.
• Kelly Ann (8/5): - Staff were great. Let us leave our bags, and check out a bit later on request. Very central, easy to walk to busier area. I would say the only thing we wished for was some hangers in the hotel room. A wee hairdryer in the room would have been good. And a tea towel or paper towels in the kitchen so drying hands. No milk in fridge or tea bags or coffee to make. These essentials in shared kitchen would have made it a bit better. It was good that there was an ironing board. Cafe next door was good for food and good coffee!! Overall good but nothing special.

• Mario (8/5): Meant for the youths. - We were initially bummed that we booked 2 doors for us and another couple yet our rooms weren’t near one another. The staff upon our arrival at least was able to get us in the same building. The rooms are very very bare. No toiletries in your room but you’re able to grab soap at checkin. You’re given 2 bath towels only (no wash cloths, no hand towels, no bath floor towel). You can receive a hair dryer and iron upon request. There weren’t outlets in the bath so curling or drying hair needed to happen near your bed. No AC. The mattress and pillows were extremely flat. We are in our 40s and this was a very uncomfortable stay for us. The windows also don’t block out the local noise and the doors close loudly as they are very heavy.

• Angela (10/5): For one night in Dublin this was spot on. - Student accommodation turned into travellers accommodation over the summer. Was clean, own shower and toilet. Towels left for us and clean bedding. (Bed was defo only slighly bigger than single bed) As far as student accommodation goes, for one night in Dublin this was spot on.

Basic but clean room with the use of basic but large kitchen which id shared with rooms on that floor but we never saw anyone else using it all- we kept our wine chilled there. Close to this great pub- became our ‘local’ Murrays Public House. It was a small double bed so perfect for two small females for 2 nights but maybe a lot longer stay and taller people cod be less convenient. Would stay there again and recommend it.

• Arthur (6/5): - This is a great place for an economy budget, but it is very low frills. There was no fridge in the room, but there was a shared kitchen that had a fridge and freezer. The room had no air conditioning; though you could open the window which looked down on a courtyard, it was a busy (and sometimes noisy) courtyard. The bed is a full size bed, so if you’re traveling with someone, I hope you like to snuggle. After the fact, I looked up the company and found we were renting an unused college dorm room. As such, overall, I’d rate it as a little better than staying at a hostel, but not as good as being at an actual hotel.

• Tahniat (6/5): - This is a great option if you are looking for student housing style hotel. Unfortunately, the bed are not big enough for two people. They back up against a wall and half of the other side is blocked by a desk. A great place for a single person. Unfortunately it is very loud overnight if you leave your window open. We had to call the front desk and ask them to have a very rowdy group of people in the courtyard quiet down.
• Lewis (6/5): - Want to prefice my revjew by saying this was the cheapest place to stay that wasn't a hostel! I had my own toilet, shower and bedroom which was just what I was looking for + an openable window. Bed was comfy enoigh and the water pressure was decent. No soap to was my hands however. The whole place was rough round the edges and could have been cleaner. I had a decent amount of female hair in my shower. Now Im not too fussed about that having grown up living with women my whole life but I know alot of people would be upset by this. I would say my stay was average-good and definitely not an overall great experience. However did the job for my weekend in dublin.

My room was beside the kitchen/living area. Meant i could prep brekkies and lunch for each day and leave in fridge. Nothng was touched.. Spend an hour or so reading in this area last night too. kitchen/living area perfect for my needs. Shower in room was brilliant. Plenty of hot water. I would use again.
• Sharon (6/5): - It just wasn’t for older people. We are very young at heart & enjoy everything in Dublin, but when you go to bed & students & young people sit outside enjoying themselves, it’s hot in the room so window open you don’t get much sleep. Room ok for students but not for us.

• leon (8/5): - Check in was pretty straight forward it is student accommodation not a hotel it’s very handy to get to the staff were very accommodating and helpful( scared of heights and moved me down to a lower floor ) it’s around a 10 minute walk to the centre of the city reasonably priced compared to everywhere else in the area bring a mattress topper as beds are not the most comfortable but they are ok for over night parking there’s a spot next to the Apcoa Jervis street shopping centre if your looking at it go to the right it’s cheaper €15 for an overnight the apcoa said it was €20 but I was charged €39

• Sigrun (6/5): - Kitchen was not clean, overflowing bin and no bin bags. Be aware that the bed is really a large single, not really a double. It is advertised as a double bedroom (size of bed is in the description, which is good). Very noisy outside, unable to leave window open. Mainly frequent sirens. Room itself is fine, very basic single student accommodation. Public transport connection is good and can also walk into the centre. Located in a very mixed area.
• David (2/5): - Dreadful. 1st thing to note is it's NOT a hotel. It is a student hall pretending to be one over summer. Staff are not properly trained as you would expect to a hotel standard. I suspect many are students working as "hotel" staff. Check-in was basic, I was just handed a key and advised where the room was. Not advised of important information like check-out or how to access wifi. The room is basic. Two shower towels, no bath mat, no hand towel. Collect shampoo at the front desk and take it to the room yourself. No AC. Bed is small, impossible to get two people sleeping. No phone in the room. I had a poor sleep. There was yelling outside until 2am. Sound echoes in the courtyard. You can shut the window and be too hot, or leave it open and try sleep through noise. The staff on the desk did not address this despite the very loud noise at an unacceptable hour. Of course, with no phone, you can't even tell them without going to the desk. I then had someone just enter my room without knocking in the morning. It turns out check-out was a very early 10am, much earlier than any I have stayed on my trip. A man's voice in my room is how I woke up! I had another knock a few minutes later. I advised I had not been told checkout and was getting ready. 5 mins later I am in the shower and more knocking. I yelled twice I am in the shower, they kept knocking. So I had to answer the door in a towel. I had three staff interactions in 15 mins. And the hotel wasn't even full that night! AVOID.

• Eileen (10/5): - The property was perfect! The staff were very welcoming and helpful and my room was clean, spacious and comfortable - and everything worked (shower, etc.). The reception area was nice too, especially the swinging chairs! Just a nice place to hang out and vibe. The location was perfect too: right in the heart of Dublin and close to Busaras, Connolly Station and buses to/from the Airport and Ferryport - so a great touring base. There’s also an Insomnia coffee shop next door, a restaurant called One Society downstairs and a Spar convenience shop across the road so all very convenient. Yugo Kavanagh Court is university accommodation that is let out to tourists during the summer. It’s as good as any hotel but a lot cheaper!
• Heidi (10/5): - I loved staying at this location and very much appreciated that they allowed me to check in early after arriving there from a transoceanic flight. I was able to freshen up and start exploring the city to stave off jet lag. Everyone at the front desk was nice and helpful, and I liked my little nest on the top floor from which I could look out at what was going on in the streets below me. The neighborhood has lots of shopping options a short walk away. The bus to the airport departs from across the street. Thank you for a convenient place to stay in Dublin!

• Verified traveler (4/5): - It's a student accommodation, so very small beds, not very clean rooms and a lot of noise. Which is fine, if the price is competitive but it wasn't even cheap. The bathroom is also tiny and not very clean (hair in the shower, dirty toilet) The only positive is the friendly staff at the check-in, they were nice.

It would have been nice if it was closer to the sights but the price would probably double then. So if you are looking for a cheap and clean place to rest your head at night I would definitely recommend it.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Not a hotel but perfect for a cheap inner city sta - Perfect for a cheap, basic inner city stay. Very clean and staff are very helpful. The room and bed are on the small size but this is to be expected in student accommodation. Everything was spotless, plenty of storage, good shower and extras available on request. There is also a shared kitchen available with facilities for cooking and reheating food. Perfect for solo travellers and backpackers who want some personal space. It is not a hotel so you shouldn't expect anything other than what it is. ideal for anyone looking for a clean, quiet and safe place to lay their heads at night and still be within walking distance of the city centre.

Great place for breakfast next door but unfortunately, closed Mondays and Tuesdays but their are other places to eat close by, very convenient , for city center, walking distance to O’Connell Street, Henry Street and Temple bar,

• Stacey (8/5): - The bag drop area seemed sketchy and not secure, yet when we returned to get something from our bags, an attendant was IMMEDIATELY back there to enquire to our business. Upon check-in, explaining fuller to the extent of watchfulness might help your travelers feel more secure to the situation and protocol. All was well.

• Colin (2/5): - This is not a hotel and the rooms are not suitable for two people. This is effectively a single student room with an en-suite and a shared kitchen living room. It is a pod of four rooms which share the communal area. There were shoes outside the door of adjacent rooms. The receptionist was unhelpful. You had to ‘borrow’ toilet paper and toiletries from reception and only knew this by reading a notice on the reception desk. There was no air con and when opening the window there was little air but plenty of noise from the adjacent road. The bed was not big enough for two adults and the balance of the room hardly large enough to place luggage. We dropped our bags and immediately hunted for another hotel. We got the last room in Dublin for the weekend. We were in the room minutes. Do not think this is a hotel or an apartment. It is not. Despite charging hotel prices. After sales is non existent. It was convenient in location. Nothing more than a shambolic exaggeration of the facts. Wong advertised and sold as a 3 Star hotel!!!! Where were the facilities?
• Bonga Percival (8/5): Good value for money considering Ireland hotels - The accomodation was good but very warm even when tried to reduce the temperature on the aircon system. Was decent overall though.

• Jennifer (4/5): - Was convenient for a quick one night stay but the room looked like the bathroom hadn't been cleaned since the student moved out. Except the toilet was clean and at least there was a half roll of toilet roll. No facilities in the room, no decor. Bedding was clean but the headboard around the bed was sticky and dirty. While I entered the room upon check in to leave the bag. I discovered the issues too late in the night to go to reception. Reception staff however were nice and said they would have moved me. And there is 24 hr reception.
• ROBBIE (2/5): Bare essentials - For one seventy five a night, this was disappointing. My room was very hot and since there was no phone in the room I had to go all the way back down to the office to ask how to turn the air conditioner on…which they informed me there “was NO AIR conditioner, open the window.” The room had no air, no TV and my sink was stopped up with dirty water. The bathroom was dirty and cobwebs all over the window. The staff was young, foreign and not very helpful or polite. When I checked out the next morning I asked if they would call me a taxi, and the girl said download an app. I said, seriously, im leaving for the airport I’ll never use this app again, finally the other BOY said we can try. They acted totally lost. Im not picking on foreigners but you had an Indian, a Mexican and a girl from Costa Rica. It would be nice to at least have a local to help recommend things. I do not recommend this place
• Cyrus (4/5): - Basically repurposed student accommodation - which would be okay, if I did not have to pay so much for one night for a lack of staff manning the counter in the morning + bedsheets being unchanged at check-in (we had to change it ourselves). Decent location but not much else.

• Sadeem (8/5): - The staff is VERY VERY nice (Omkar especially). They look after your every need. However, it is a STUDENT dorm/accommodation - so temper your expectations accordingly (e.g. room size and amenities). The room is small. The room needs a deep clean and cleaner bed sheets. Great water pressure! No AC, but the staff can give you a portable fan, or you can open the window. They do have soap, shampoo and TP, but you have to ask for it. Staff is really friendly and very helpful
• Noorjean (2/5): - Rooms were clean, but they ran out of soap (yup) and my shower did not work (no shower?!?!). They were full and offerred no solution or compensation for a very expensive room with no shower....
• Alan (4/5): Very disappointing. - Very small bed barely fit for 2 persons, no toiletries, and room was a heat trap in sunny weather - 28*in the room at night and couldnt open the windows due to the noise outside! And £224 for one night room only. Dublin now provides worst value in Europe.
• Erika (8/5): Choose for location and affordability. - Staff was friendly, room was fairly bare bones. We had the bad luck of traveling during an Irish heat wave so we had to keep the window open and the street was tremendously loud. No fault of the facility. Available kitchen was clean. Bathroom was a decent size for a city center. Location was good and price was appropriate for the lack of creature comforts. Only concern with cleanliness was a splatter on the wall which could have been old blood or coffee, but the linens and bathroom were clean.

• Joseph (2/5): - I hope travelers know what this is when they book this place. Obviously I wasn’t aware when I book this. This is an apartment complex for University students during the school year and it turns itself into a “hotel” (note the quotation) in the summer. The facility and room layout are exactly a student dormitory. I reserved a room for two of us, the size of the bed is between a twin bed and a full size bed with two flat pillows. There is no air conditioning and they have limited fans to give out. We did not get one. There was no shampoo and shower gel installed in the bathroom, no TV, no room service, no room cleaning and no change of towels. The bathroom sink was heavily clogged and we could see hair all the way down, shutting down the draining. We stopped using the sink during the stay, and pretended it didn’t exist. The shower was weak although the water was hot. There is also some drainage issue in the shower. I’m guessing they didn’t unclog them before they turn it into “hotel” condition. Last thing I want to remind potential bookers is that they charge the same rate as a Marriott hotel. It was $250 approximately per night. I stayed in Marriott in Glasgow for less than $200.
• Jo (4/5): - I get that this is student housing but if you’re going to use it for a hotel in the summer months step up your game. There was no soap at all, no hand towel(s) either. We just stayed in another student housing place in Galway and they actually adjusted to be more like a hotel making sure we had at least the bare minimum. If you can’t supply the essentials maybe don’t act as a hotel in the summer.
• Paul (4/5): - The location was not good, noisy and lots of what looked like drug activity on the street. Felt a little unsafe. Small bed.
• DEBORAH (6/5): - Student housing that doubles as summer hotel. Clean & neat. On arrival, the room was Very hot-could not control the thermostat but was fortunate it was a cool evening & could open the window. 2 towels in room. Bring your own soap & toiletries. Pleasant & helpful staff at check-in for 24 hours.
• Gillian (4/5): - This should not be on Expedia This is Student housing rented out for summer recess, at best listed as a hostel. There are no amenities No TV single bed for 2 people, 1towel each, no garbage can. Shampoo & soap kept at front desk

• Maria Silvina (2/5): - We stayed at Yugo Kavanagh Court for three nights and was quite disappointed. While the staff were lovely and very friendly, the overall experience fell short of expectations. Firstly, it’s important to highlight that this is a student accommodation, not a hotel — a fact that was not disclosed on Hotels.com. As a result, it lacks many basic amenities: no towels, no shampoo, no soap, no toiletries, and no hairdryer. In addition, bed linens were never changed during the entire stay. Not very clean either. The location is about a 15-minute walk from the city center, so it’s not as central as some listings might suggest. While the atmosphere was welcoming and the people kind, this property is clearly intended for long-term student housing rather than short stays. For travelers expecting hotel-level comfort and services, I would not recommend this accommodation. Accurate disclosure on the booking platform would have helped manage expectations.
• Chris (6/5): Just ok! - Student accommodation in a locked compound. Veey basic. Ok for one nights stay if desperate.
• Molly (10/5): - Really great location, only a 10-15 minute walk to Temple Bar. Easy check in, friendly staff and a very comfy stay! It is a student accommodation and not a hotel, however if you’re booking with this in mind it’s literally perfect. It’s clean, warm, spacious, a very comfy bed and incredibly safe as there is student staff there to help you at all times. Would 100% stay here again
• Jennifer (6/5): - The property was very hard to find from the post code. The rooms were basic as we were holiday stays I would have expected complementary products to be in the rooms. Check in was ok, I booked two rooms, I did expect them to be next to each other but my grandson was on a different floor

• Daniel (8/5): - Good location for us. Not parking on property was incovenient and expensive.
• Liam (8/5): - The reception staff were always friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel itself was ideally located and had a nice relaxed atmosphere. The level of security from accessing the reception to reaching your room was impressive and gave us peace of mind. The only criticism we have is that the room we stayed in was rather dusty and could have benefited from a more thorough clean before our stay.

• Anthony (10/5): - Miruna and Mia made the check in process smooth and helped resolve a minor booking issue with expertise and cheerful humour. For student accommodation, it offered great value, decent location and great cleanliness. Overall great value, but please do something about the Dublin weather!!

• PAUL (8/5): - The location is ok, a bit noisy as the hospital must be close by, lots of ambulances day and night! The room was small, with the bed up against the window! Great restaurant next door and the Luas stops about 200 mtrs away.

• Ellen (10/5): - The staff at the front desk were very friendly. The accomadations are normally housing for Trinity College students. The room was very basic and small but very clean and met our needs for one night. The room was much cheaper than the hotels we stayed in during our trip. At the end of our stay, we discovered a common room with couches and basic kitchen facilities.
• Hei Tung Tiffany (6/5): - It was okay. Clean in room. Just the shared kitchen was a bit in chaos. Broken freezer and also troubled microwave. Staff friendly but was much tied up during peak hour of arrival. I suggest a more regular and informed timetable for refuse management.
• Sopuruchi (4/5): - The room was clean but the basic things like soap for toilet was not made available and also no soap was provided for bathroom. The kitchen area bin was filled and was not taken out. Though staff were nice.
• Khushboo (10/5): - The stay was good. Location is quite convenient. Rooms were clean.
• Kathleen (10/5): - The property is a student residence that rents out dormitory style rooms during the summer. I rented a private room with a private bath. The kitchen was shared. As a solo traveller this was perfect! Very clean, friendly, helpful staff. Great location, easy walking to the city center and the bus stop to the airport is across the street.

• Brittney (6/5): - Good location, really wish a TV was included. No parking available, had to park in a garage and pay 44€ for one night.
• James (8/5): - ti is about a mile form trinity and temple bar. nice staff. the room numbering is a bit odd. But these are dorms from trinity students in most times.
• Haifeng (8/5): - Student residence run as hotel in the summer. Clean condition, but really minimal. We just need to stay one night so no issues.
