- Richelle (4/5): Noisy and Bed bugs - Cannot fault the service provided by the staff but… Initially I was placed in a room right on the street which was extremely noisy but not as noisy as the staff and others at reception. I was promptly moved after asking for a quieter room and this seemed to be a good outcome. The next room was so much more quieter but one of the beds had bed bugs. There was 2 beds in the room and I managed to get some sleep albeit very minimal in the room. I let the online staff know about the bites and sent them several photos of the bites all over my legs. Their response was that they checked the room and no bed bugs but this was impossible. This was my worst ever stay in Rome and I would not be staying at a Numa location again as I have read that other locations have also had bed bugs

I was worried about the pin not working but had no trouble at all, The receptionists were friendly and helpful, just not there at all times. A terrific location as well.

- monicafows (6/5): A bed is a bed - My boyfriend & I stayed at Numa for 6 nights. Check in was super easy, as we did have a receptionist present & they were able to check us in early since our room was ready. Check out was a breeze, since we were able to do it fully online anyway. Although the hotel was very clean & in a superb location in the heart of Trastevere, the room was barely large enough to feel comfortable. As soon as you walked in, you are cornered to a wall because the bed is in the way. There was no furniture in the room besides 2 bedside tables & a mini fridge that barely got cold. There are no closets, but our room did have a few hangers that wrrr basically on the ground… Similar to other posts, they will not clean your room if you don’t stay for longer than 8 days, if you need it cleaned it’s an extra charge. They won’t take out your trash or give you new towels. The walls are paper thin, so every footstep, conversation, or closing door sounded like you were in the same room. If we were there for more than 6 nights, I think I would’ve lost my mind, but for the amount of time, we survived our stay. As a young person on a budget, it did its job as a place to sleep. It is in a great location for walking to the Trevi fountain, Pantheon, Colosseum, and even the Spanish steps. There are phenomenal places to eat right outside your door step so I can’t be too mad. If I were to stay here again, I’d definitely splurge on the bigger room, but I do agree that it is an Airbnb disguised as a hotel… you have to do a lot of things on your own & staff aren’t really much help when present, as everything has to go through the WhatsApp anyway. I thought it was a pretty average experience. I wasn’t wowed, but I paid for what I got and it did the job. It was a decent accommodation in a great location. I also feel that with all the things to do in Trastevere alone, you shouldn’t really be spending that much time in your hotel room, so it shouldn’t really matter, but do with that what you will.

Balcony was a cool touch and we could sit out and overlook the people walking by. If I had to knock something it would be the arrangement of the room. The sink was in the main room oppose to the bathroom, but if that is your biggest concern then you did OK

- Becky (10/5): Great location, odd room rates - Numa Tullo was a perfect place to stay, it's right on the edge of the lively evenings in Trastevere which you can go out and enjoy, but once you get back to your hotel, you can't hear any of it. The only thing I will say is there is a huge variation in the size of the rooms, it felt a little ridiculous that we paid the same amount for three rooms but one was vastly bigger than the other two.

Still an issue with the water pressure and almost no water from the shower coming out at the end. Very convenient with the code locks. Overall pleased with the location.

- 818jer (2/5): WORST ROME EXPERIENCE EVER - The worst stay I've ever had. Non-stop loud music playing. You're above a restaurant and bar. There is no way to get in contact and talk with a human. You will be forced to send text messages that resolve honestly nothing. The number says they are disconnected. If you have an issue, emergency, bad time, or anything of the sort you are on your own. For the prices it is not worth it, you are much better staying at a hotel. Again, there are ZERO staff on premises that can assist with anything. it will just be you texting to a phone frustrated, BEWARE. The rooms are also very awkward, and hard to get around. For example I can't even open my door all the way in the room when entering, you automatically run into furniture when entering. I love the city and have visited several times, this is my worst stay.

However, the shower door stuck which was very frightening luckily I wasn’t alone and they could get me out of the bathroom. I strongly advise you not to go in the bathroom without your phone. I think rooms were designed by a very tall person - as as someone who is 5 foot three I could not reach the coat hangers.

It was just in the center Good aircon No noise from outside The terrance was spacious for two and the bathroom was also a fair size All of the room was of a good standard Outside shower was really cool Mini fridge was good Bad: I wished it was more clear beforehand that we are not allowed to smoke on the terrance No real place to store baggage (big luggage had to be stored by the entrance on the ground floor.

The only thing I could say negative is the beds were a bit hard. But given the other ones we’ve stayed in Italy. Seems to be common and definitely not the worst bed we have stayed in. Would stay here 100 x over and recommend. The value for money was great.

- Travel03777213896 (10/5): Superb location, with fully digital check-in and out - We stayed for 4 nights, couldn’t fault anything. Location is superb, on a quiet side street off a lively square. The room was clean, with everything you need for a short city stay. Fully digital experience too, PIN code for main door and room was received in advance of check-in, then check-out is via a QR code on the room door when leaving. Kept updated throughout via WhatsApp, with a welcome note on arrival, occasional recommendations and a farewell note on departure. I’d certainly stay here again when we return to Rome.

Once in... was very nice, but just a room with no Customer service.

You need to pickup fresh towels and toilet papers from the 3rd floor and the elevator works up to the second floor. No shampoo and body wash refill. You need to pay for the cleaning if you need the room to be cleaned. The area around the hotel is fantastic. You will have a lot of fun during the day and night. The area is close to other city areas if you take the bus.

- Seth (6/5): - This property does not have any staff so all check in/out is digital, which we liked. Plenty of dining options in the area and a nice atmosphere. The room setup is a bit difficult for a family, as the shower is basically exposed to the room (no door). There is plenty of light inside the room, while trying to sleep, as the outside lights shine in the window and cannot be switched off. Also, plenty of LEDs in the room keep it lit up through the night… I put an eye mask on. Lastly, the AC is weak so it was quite warm all the time, during Roman summer.

As you go in there was a twin bed (with a trundle) next to a small fridge with the coffee maker, in front there is a dividing half wall and at the other side a queen bed, right in front of the bathroom. There is hardly any space to place the luggage and there is no closet - which we found really weird. Finally, the lighting is very bright - with no dimming option. The unit is new and the beds are very comfy - and while uncomfortable to move around, overall it was good and very convenient to go to all the great restaurants and stores in Trastevere.

The rooms are clean, beds super comfortable. Free coffee, water and snacks. Keyless entry. Came for family vacation would stay again and recommend. Would like to feel that the communication is a drop less robotic and disconnected.
- V6743RYnicolez (10/5): Lovely stay in Trastevere - The hotel is super nice, tiny but fancy. I LOVED the terrace and the location is great. You can chat with the team via whatsapp and they answer really quickly, which helped since there is no reception or people on site
