- hanife (1/5): İngilizce The accommodation gave us a bad experience - The location of the hotel was excellent, and the breakfast & the rooftop were lovely. We arrived at the resort at 2:30 AM on Friday night, and there was no one to greet us at reception. We rang a doorbell and entered, finding our room key left on the table. We had received an email from the hotel stating that our room had been upgraded. When we went to the room number on the key, we found that the room hadn't been cleaned, the sheets were bloody and full of hair, and we were given a room on a very bad floor. We immediately called the person who had let us in. The person on the night shift came to the hotel immediately and brought us clean sheets. I changed the bed and pillowcases. He also took photos of the room and the bed linens. There was trash in the trash can, and there were things left behind by previous occupants in the bathroom. He stated that there was no other solution that night, and we stayed in that room. The next day, they moved us to a clean room, and on Sunday, they finally moved us to the upgraded room. We changed rooms three times during our 4-day holiday, packed our belongings, and settled in. The room we were forced to stay in on the first night was not suitable for hosting guests; it was both dirty and faced a room in the hallway. We believe this hotel doesn't care much about customer satisfaction because of its large customer base due to its location. They may have gone down in history as the first hotel to charge customers for changing bed sheets and pillowcases during their vacation.

(1/5): - Good location A lot - not sure where to begin with - Several of the rooms are very noisy; everything on the first floor has direct sound from the lobby, as there is no separation; rooms that face the street get a lot of noise from there, as the windows are *really* poor - it is not a busy street after all - The rooms have poor interior - no proper table, no proper cupboard. - The breakfast in principal follows a great idea - rooftop with a view to the Akropolis! BUT - Breakfast only starts at 8:00, which is late if you have a business trip - They have not enough tables (though there would be more space) to accommodate everyone; and on top of that, they don't bother to manage these tables properly, so that a group of 2 then sits on a table for four, even when there's too little availability; on the 2nd they, the lady there offered us to sit on the sofa - which is on the one hand not comfy to eat due to the low table - and the sofa was wet too! When telling the lady, she only responded with "what can I do?" and very unfriendly - At least when I was there, it seemed they never thought of the possibility that it just might rain, but, it did! So, the room where the buffet is located has a roof, but that is leaky, so you and the food get a bit wet; but worse, the only option where to eat the breakfast was outside under a sun-umbrella, standing, or take it to your room, where you lack a proper table. Only after around 30 minutes, the personnel came up with the idea to move the tables down to the lobby, where there was space enough; could have thought about that earlier... - They are advertising the rooftop a lot, that you could go there - but it is mostly looked in the evening, when the bar is not operating

- Nikola (10/5): - Exceptional breakfast with a breathtaking view of the Acropolis! The absolute highlight of our stay was breakfast on the hotel’s rooftop terrace. The quality and variety of food was outstanding — one of the better hotel breakfasts we have experienced. Fresh, delicious and generous. But equally impressive as the food was the view — looking directly onto the Acropolis from the rooftop terrace and bar. A truly breathtaking sight, especially in the morning light. The rooftop bar is without doubt one of the greatest assets of this hotel and well worth a visit in its own right. The rooms are clean, tidy and well maintained. The design is modern and visually attractive — natural stone, carefully chosen colours and thoughtful details that give the space a genuinely sophisticated feel. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the heart of Athens with an unforgettable view of Greece’s most iconic monument.

Die Dachtetasse ist wunderschön sowie das Früstück ist super auf der Dachterasse! Das Zimmer ist super klein und man kann seinen Koffer fast nirgends hinstellen. Die Möglichkeit frische Luft hinein zu lassen war nicht vorhanden, da unser Fenster in einen Schacht zeigte der oben verschlossen war.

I had to leave the hotel two days earlier due to unavoidable circumstances, and I was assured that I would receive a voucher to use on a future stay. Despite the reminder emails I sent afterwards, I never received any response or the promised voucher. It is disappointing when commitments made to guests are not honored, as reliability and follow-through are an important part of good customer service.

- L J (8/5): Great location and staff - The location, the staff offered to even change our room because of our window opening into the lobby and getting a lot of noise during breakfast time. Staff were extremely supportive and helpful. The room window opens into the lobby so there is a lot of knowledge during breakfast time, but it is also the cheapest room available

The room was extremely cramped, with no space to open luggage and a complete lack of storage (no wardrobe or shelves). The absence of a mirror in the main room and the lack of electrical outlets in the bathroom made getting ready very difficult. Our window faced directly into another guest room. More importantly, sleep was impossible until 3:00 AM due to the overwhelming noise from the club located beneath the hotel. The staff appeared unprepared and indifferent to our concerns, offering no solutions to improve our stay. Breakfast was equally disappointing, the food quality was poor, and basic necessities like napkins were unavailable. Given the lack of basic amenities and the disruptive environment, I cannot recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay.

Le personnel est agréable mais pas plus … aucun effort et aucun sens du service (c’est le strict minimum) mais les 2 points les plus désagréables sont : - le petit déjeuner (même le jus d’orange est en brique et industriel, une assiette avec 2 fruits, pas varié … seul le café était bon) - chambre sur rue avec des bars et discothèques à proximité … impossible de dormir sur les 5 premières nuits avant d’obtenir des chambres côté cour … cris, bagarres et hurlements jusqu’à 5h du matin ! Avec des fenêtres très mal isolées ! Je ne recommande pas ..

- Angelo (8/5): Great. - Mostly everything was perfect with this stay. Little luxurious escape from the busy center of Athens, in a great location. Nice interior and aesthetic, modern. Kind staff and helpful. Great space in the rooms. Amazing rooftop!! Clearly the highlight of this hotel Although we were on the 7th floor (too floor below rooftop), our room was facing the street - and the windows were not isolating. This means it was impossible to sleep without earphones… even around 2/3AM.

- Heike (8/5): Schöner Aufenthalt mitten in der Stadt - Vom Dachgeschoss gibt es einen schönen Blick auf die Akropolis. Das Frühstück war absolut nach unserem Geschmack, vielseitig, verschiedene Brotsorten, Gemüse, Früchte, Müsli…. Gute zentrale Lage und nicht weit zur Metrostation. Unser Zimmer war zur Straße raus, welche vor allem nachts sehr laut war.

- Hanro (8/5): Overall good stay. - My stay at the Lekka was good. It is in a good location near Syntagma station and a walk away from the long cobblestone path which has lots to see. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and gave nice tips for going around. I would have liked a small table to sit and work on my laptop; luckily one is able to sit in the reception area which is okay. And I believe in summer you can sit on the roof if its not too cold.

- Paul (7/5): We would stay there again, for location, price, desk staff and cleanliness. - 1. Location was good. Just north of Plaka 2. The rooms were clean. Staff was very helpful in getting us acquainted with Athens, and suggestions for meals. 3. You have to check out the rooftop view of the Acropolis. 4. If you purchased the breakfast, and you can eat after 8:00am, it is great. Breakfast started at 8:00am; and since we had activities or pick ups starting prior to that we had to skip 2 of the 3 days. It should start earlier as tourists have day excursions that are away before 8am.

"The Lekka Hotel & Spa" entspricht aus unserer Sicht keinem 4‑Sterne‑Standard, sondern eher einem 2‑ bis 3‑Sterne‑Niveau. Positiv war, dass wir die Unterkunft am selben Tag kostenlos stornieren durften. Zu unserem Glück konnten wir am selben Tag ein anderes 4‑Sterne‑Hotel über Booking buchen, nur 270 Meter (etwa vier Gehminuten) vom "The Lekka Hotel & Spa" entfernt. Dieses andere Hotel hat all unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Sauberkeit liess stark zu wünschen übrig – auf dem Sitzsack befanden sich Flecken und Haare, und auch die Aussenfenster waren schmutzig. Einbauschränke waren nicht vorhanden und das Zimmer war insgesamt deutlich zu klein. Außerdem war der Duschhebel verrostet. Das Doppelbett war zudem so niedrig, dass es sehr unbequem war. Insgesamt kein Vergleich zu den Zimmerbildern auf Booking. Ich empfehle Booking, eigene und aktuelle Fotos vor Ort aufzunehmen, damit Gäste ein realistisches Bild vom Zimmer erhalten.

The spa was a great bonus — a nice way to unwind without even leaving the hotel. Staff were welcoming and professional, and everything felt well organized. It’s also in a convenient spot, which made getting around simple. A very comfortable and easy stay overall.

The location is perfect right in the center, within walking distance of everything. The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable, and the rooftop with views of the Acropolis is always a highlight. Breakfast is fresh and a great way to start the day. Overall, a very solid stay again, and I would definitely return.

I wish i'd known about the Lekka on those other trips. - Then location was handy fot the metro as well as close to places i wanted to visit. the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was great - pretty cool and modern but with everything i needed. A kettle AND and an espresso machine, a glass fronted fridge. bathroom was ideal - excellent shower nothing !

- Nigel (5/5): I liked the location but wouldn't stay again due to outside noise, so lack of sleep. - Location. The widows don't stop noise from outside at all unfortunately. Even on the 6th floor i had to buy earplugs as the noise from people shouting coming from the local bars was too much. Not enough seating for breakfast.
