• asaf (4/5): מלון גניבת דעת. עולה בערך פי 5 ממה שהוא שווה. ביזיון. - מיקום מצוין, מלון נקי ומודרני זה לא ממש מלון… קומה 5 בבניין משרדים. ״חדר אוכל״ של 4 שולחנות וכורסאות סלון, מאוד לא נח, ארוחת בוקר דלה מאוד. מחיר שהוא עקיצה אמיתית, פשוט הזיה.

Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und das ist für uns das wichtigste. - Alles hat uns gefallen 💖 Die Lage, das Interieur, die freundliche Mitarbeiter, (bis auf einen), die bequemen Betten das schöne Badezimmer. Wenn wir wieder nach München kommen, würden wir gerne wieder dort übernachten auch, wenn es paar Kleinigkeiten gab, die nicht perfekt waren. Aber die gibt es überall, egal wie viele Sterne das Hotel hat. Die Garagenlösung ist nicht optimal, aber verständlich. Es gab vor einem der Sessel im Zimmer ein kleines Häufchen Brösel noch von den Gästen vor uns. Das fanden wir nicht so toll und die Badewanne haben wir sicherheitshalber selber noch mal ausgewischt, bevor wir sie benutzt haben. Es war nicht so vertrauenserweckend. Wasserkocher und Kaffeemaschine mussten wir extra verlangen. Es ist nicht standardmäßig im Zimmer wie angekündigt. Den Toilettensitz mussten wir auch von zweifelhaften Flecken befreien, bevor er benutzt werden konnte. Der Kühlschrank funktionierte auch nicht und war nicht reparabel, dafür durften wir unsere Sachen in den Kühlschrank in der Küche platzieren.

• Susann (8/5): Schickimicki - Das Hotel liegt idealst, der Anblick innen ist einladend, sehr ruhig und sehr sauber. Das Personal ist freundlich. Das Bett ist ausgezeichnet. ABER: Der Architekt (kann keine Frau gewesen sein) scheint noch nie in einem Hotel gelebt zu haben. Im allgemeinen folgt die Form der Funktion. Hier nicht. Das Lichtsystem: kryptisch und unbrauchbar. Es gibt kein Zimmerlicht. Der Schalter zu Leselampe hinter den fixierten Dreh-Lehnstühlen befindet sich am Boden dahinter. Ohne Turnübung kein Licht! Die Lichtschalter funktionieren oder nicht. Was wo ist herausfordernd. Es gibt keine taugliche Nachttischlampe: sie hängt a) zu tief und ist b) für beide Bettseiten parallel geschaltet. Alle „main“-Schalter sind nicht Hauptschalter. Dusche: Für Damen untauglich, freihändig nicht möglich, da ein Aufhängesystem fehlt. Die Kopfdusche ist auch mit Haube eine Zumutung. Ein Dusch-WC wäre in dieser Preislage kein Luxus. Safe: die Empfangsdame fragte, ob wir den im Kasten integrierten Safe bräuchten. Wer weiss.. als wir ihn dann doch brauchten und nach Anleitung benutzen wollten, funktionierte das nicht. Die Dame half mit einem Trick. Am Ende war die Frage insofern berechtigt, als die Safetüre ohne „Lock“ offen heraushängt und sich somit die Kastentüre ohne manuelles Nachhelfen nicht schliessen lässt. Details: Kleenex Gute Qualität, Wattebausch hingegen verfällt; Duschsprühkopf leicht verkalkt; Kühlschrank kühlte nicht.

• Patrick (10/5): Beautiful boutique hotel experience - This is a small (19 rooms) boutique hotel in the heart of Munich directly opposite the clocktower on Marienplatz. It is located inside a small block of offices, and from the street you could easily miss that there is a hotel inside on the 4th or 5th floor. Inside it is like a jewel, beautifully and thoughtfully designed, with a small bar, large comfortable rooms and a tonne of atmosphere thanks to well designed lighting and choice of materials. The staff is on 24/hrs and were ready to welcome us when we arrived late on on New Years Eve for two nights stay. No request was a problem for them and they were always very friendly and professional. An exceptional stay. There was nothing we did not like, however if you are looking for a hotel with an extensive set of amenities - like swimming pools and sauna - then this is probably not going to meet your needs. For a romantic getaway, in a perfect location for a short visit, it was perfect.

• Justin (8/5): - Location was great. Breakfast/lounge area opens up to the main square and can see the Clock show from there. Balcony was nice, connected to another room's balcony with some dividing plants. View of the church and old town hall. The hotel is about 100 meters away from drivable area unless you are in a taxi during times when taxi can drive next to hotel. We had to park in a garage and drag all of our luggage to hotel.

We were welcomed with snacks, which was a lovely touch. The terrace is wonderful, with a beautiful view of the church and a quiet side street. The bed is very comfortable, with high-quality bed linen, plus bathrobes and slippers. The toiletries are excellent. The hallway and reading area are beautifully designed, cozy, and pleasantly scented. The best location. The room has poor soundproofing - you can hear everything from outside, including children playing, running, and dishes being served in the hallway. There is a gap underneath the door, which makes it even noisier. There is no proper main light, not a single ceiling light - so the room is especially dark in winter. If you're staying with family, there’s very little privacy. The bathroom is separated only by a glass wall, partially covered by a mirror. The toilet door is also glass, still transparent, and doesn’t close completely. In winter or rainy weather, there aren’t enough coat hooks near the entrance. The only place to hang items is inside the closet or on one overly wide hanger, which isn’t practical for winter clothing. The minibar is very small and doesn’t cool properly. There is no kettle. In the bathroom, there’s no space to place clothes, only a very small area near the sink. This room is better for one person. Overall, the design is beautiful and cozy, but not functional.

I would like to stay this hotel if I could come back to Munich in the future. Danke schön It was a little bit hard to find the hotel on arrival.

We carry our own tea and coffee when we travel and like having a morning brew in our room. We had to order room service if we wanted a morning coffee.

• karencS6340NE (10/5): Secret retreat in the Marienplatz - This boutique hotel is distinguished first by the friendly, helpful staff who pampered me from the start. It’s a lovely space with about twenty very private rooms, despite each opening onto the common areas. One of these has a bank of windows looking out at the clock tower, another an interesting video art installation. Breakfast is served until noon, a light lunch or dinner is also available. My room had a balcony and looked out on Alter Peter, Munich’s oldest church. I was there at Christmas and enjoyed the Christmas Market in the square.

• Marlis (10/5): Best stay at any hotel ever! - This was the the best property I have ever stayed at. There aren't too many rooms so the staff knew each person staying there and was very attentive. I would not hesitate a split second to stay here again and again if the opportunity arises. no elevator for bulky luggage, but honestly all the amazing services more than make up for this .

Das Zimmer sieht auf den Bildern viel grösser aus.

Durch die indirekte Beleuchtung und gemütliche Einrichtung fühlte ich mich sofort sehr wohl. Tolles, hochwertiges, sehr leckeres a la Carte Frühstück mit gesunden Optionen. Bequeme Betten und gute Schlafqualität. Schönes, modernes Bad - aber offen zum Raum hin. Für Alleinreisende wie mich perfekt. Großzügiges Konzept mit Minibar inklusive und Snacks in der Lobby. Früh morgens duftete es herrlich nach frischen Croissants. Komme gerne wieder um eines der anderen schönen Zimmer oder Suiten zu erleben. Jedes scheint besonders zu sein! Da alles sehr übersichtlich ist (Boutique-Hotel) kriegt man auf dem Zimmer auch mit was in der Hotellobby so los ist. Hat mich jetzt aber nicht sehr gestört und in der Nacht war es trotzdem sehr ruhig.

I would not hesi - Location was fantastic-across the street from St Peter’s Church and 30-40 seconds from Marienplatz plus only like 3-4 minutes from the market. • Dina (5/5): - the location , the breakfast and the view from the room This property feels more like an apartment-style hotel rather than a true five-star one (which made me wonder why their rating is shown in circles instead of stars). I didn’t like that there was no proper entrance. It’s located on the 5th floor. The rooms are not as luxurious as they appear in the pictures, and there was an unpleasant smell. There were no coffee or tea facilities in the room. Also, there were pictures of random people hanging on the walls, which made the room feel uncomfortable.

• 99PSB (8/5): Not a 5* entrance but good rooms. - Good reviews everywhere however upon arrival the entrance did not exactly look imposing! Located on the 5th Floor (lift & stairs) the actual hotel entrance was better however not exactly 5* compared to big chains. As usual passports were required however I found it disconcerting that they also wanted to keep my credit card during the check in process (I declined). Described as “luxury boutique” with 19 rooms. Ours was a very nice room, great central location overlooking the old town hall, good for shopping / sightseeing etc. In room mini bar was nothing much, comfortable bed / linen, nice shower / bath (junior suite), decent soundproofing. Good sized TV (BBC / Sky). Decent working desk, library, nibbles available too. Our room was up a stairway (disabled access??). There was no magnifying vanity mirror in the bathroom (the hotel website states there is a makeup mirror provided. My wife asked for one however it never arrived). Overall the location is great, room size was good but you have to question whether it really is 5*; not at all bad but for the money it’s questionable.

Maybe they are just shy but finding the hotel which arises from an office block below is a little challenging. Once you recent 5th floor everything is impressive. A small and well planned boutique hotel with exemplary staff and bar. It lacks a defined restaurant and we opted to eat out rather than sample the breakfast and house menu, but other guests seemed to enjoy the fare. Very well positioned and most rooms have views across Marienplatz and the ‘Glockenspiel’. Highly recommended The lights in the room are unfathomable!
