• Robert (9/5): Very enjoyable stay at Hotel Ikona - We stayed at the hotel Ikona for 6 nights beginning in late April. The location was excellent. It is located in the Mala Strana neighborhood just a short walk from the end of the Charles Bridge. Breakfast was included and was very good with the usual compliment of cheeses, cold cuts, breads, cereals and yogurts. Unlike many hotels we've stayed in the Hotel Ikona also offers a few hot items you can order from a menu at no additional charge. Our room was very comfortable. Because our room overlooked the street it did get a little noisy on a couple of nights but nothing too excessive. There is no elevator, but our room was only one floor up so it was really not a problem. Overall would recommend Hotel Ikona and would definitely stay here again.

• Turtle (8/5): Individuelle Stadtbesichtigung in Prag - Die Lage hinter der Karlsbrücke ist ruhig und sehr zentral gelegen. Frühstück sehr gut, individuell und frisch. Betten bequem, Bad modern und sauber. Kein Ausblick vom Zimmer, dafür aber sehr ruhig ganz oben ohne Fahrstuhl. Mein Koffer kam verspätet. Es hätte mir geholfen, wenn ich vorher gewusst hätte, dass ich ihn nach 19.00 Uhr an ein anderes Hotel hätte liefern lassen können.

The location is absolutely perfect—right on the corner by Charles Bridge—making it easy to walk to all the main tourist attractions. The hotel itself has a lovely, charming atmosphere, full of character and very climatic. My room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was another highlight—fresh, tasty, and a great way to start the day. On top of that, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. • Holger (7/5): Schöne Unterkunft, gute Lage, leider keine Parkplätze, leider eher bescheidenes Frühstück - Das Hotel liegt in der Altstadt. Es wird dem besonderen Flair der Stadt gerecht. Die Lage ist gut, nicht weit entfernt zur Karlsbrücke, zur Altstadt, zur Burg und zu Bootsanlegern für Moldaufahrten. Keine Parkplätze am Hotel und auch nicht in der Nähe vorhanden, obwohl bei Booking damit geworben wird. Der nächste Parkplatz hätte letztlich rund einen Kilometer entfernt gelegen. Übermüdet und ailein mit Kind und Gepäck ist das kein Vergnügen. Obwohl bei Booking dazu angefragt war, kam dazu zunächst keine Antwort. Spät als wir (ein Erwachsener, ein Kind) schon unterwegs waren, und auf das Problem aufmerksam machten, hieß es, wir könnten die Buchung ja stornieren (und uns etwas anderes suchen). Das kann man machen, ist aber kein guter Service. Wir kamen sehr spät am Abend an und parkten nach einer erfolglosen Suche ohne zu fragen auf einem freien Parkplatz eines Hotels "um die Ecke", da wir nur auf der Durchreise waren um 10 Uhr wieder auscheckten. Es gibt keinen Fahrstuhl und die alten Treppen sind Schnittstelle, aber mit großem Gepäck evtl. nicht leicht zu bewältigen. Deutsches Fernsehen ist vorhanden, allerdings eher "Rand-Sender". Das Frühstück war überraschend schlicht. Es gibt zwar mehrere im Preis enthaltene Frühstücks-Menüs, aber daneben nicht besonders viel. Brötchen gab es gar nicht, nur eine Brotsorte,.dazu kaum Auswahl beim Belag.

Liked everything. Very noisy from pub next door on the Saturday night but finished 12ish, afterwards quiet enough for good nights sleep. Would be nice to have little lounge area with comfy sofa’s but that was only because I had a medical problem on our last day and had to stay in hotel all day, unable to walk. Really not a problem.

Einrichtung etwas dunkel. Aber das ist Geschmackssache. Es ist kein Aufzug vorhanden da es sich um ein historisches Gebäude handelt.

• Angeline (8/5): Goed hotel op een goede locatie. - Goede locatie, heel vriendelijk personeel, voorafgaande aan het verblijf ook goede communicatie. Ruime kamer, goede matrassen. Prima ontbijt met ook voldoende keuze. En ook hier weer heel vriendelijk geholpen. Ernaast is een wijnbar, gezellige ruimte met een keuze aan verschillende worst en kaassoorten. De geur in de kamer was wat chemisch maar na een dag de ramen open zetten was dat redelijk weg.

You can't get the room fully dark. There is a wine bar downstairs, which was a bit loud on weekend nights. Overall the sound isolation to the hallway and outside is very bad. Ear plugs fixed this but might be a problem for a light sleeper. A tiny detail for the people with long hair, the all in one-shampoo was very bad.

Clean, comfortable, and attractive but unpretentious little place. Enthusiastic service upon arrival, with recommendations, maps, etc.--nice personal touch. Nothing really. Breakfast nothing exceptional, but fine for the price.

• APOSTOLOS (9/5): Excellent hotel experience from all aspects - Location was excellent, staff very friendly, breakfast very tasty, clean and very good sized room, we definitely recommend it
• Vishal (5/5): Sultan was unprofessional and had a poor attitude. Rest all were excellent. - Location is great, spacious rooms. The staff on the 12th and 13th March Peter the beard guy was excellent, he helped me on the first night with our bags and was very nice. Sultan on 14th and 15th made me put this average rating. I wanted to give a zero as he had a very unprofessional demeanour and was very unhelpful. On the 14th my wife and my baby came back into the hotel with our new stroller we brought. Now my wife forgot the room key so asked sultan one replacement, when she accidentally said it could be room 23 she asked to check, he said it’s wrong it’s 21, and looked up at her with his eyes rolling as if she did a big crime, his attitude was terrible, my wife had to say give me the key card I have a 2 year old. Peter promised me when we checkout someone will help me with bags as we had 6 bags and there are no lifts. Sultan said the night before he will help me. Now on the day of check out he said I came down with 2 bags, I went up and did round 2 with 2 more, he still did not move from his seat, when I came with the last lot of 2 and literally on the last 3 stairs onto the ground floor he pretended to come and help me for 3 stairs and did not see this is my third round. It was absolutely mind boggling, he has a terrible attitude and unprofessional conduct which needs to be looked at. Other than that everything was great…. Including staff at the kitchen who went above and beyond for my 2 year. Thanks

• Barbara (10/5): Perfect - We had an amazing stay at Hotel Ikona. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. The room was very clean and well maintained. Everything felt fresh and tidy, which made the stay comfortable and pleasant. It was exactly what we were looking for. The cherry on top was the great music in the bar area, which created a really nice atmosphere in the evenings. Highly recommend! The only small comment is that the room felt a bit lacking in fresh air and was quite hot, even though the thermostat was off. Besides that, everything was perfect.
