• Lucy (9/5): Great location and good amenities for a budget hotel - Location, the size of the room and all the facilities available (kitchen, washer machine, iron, hair dryer) and terrace are great for the price. The ac worked great which is very important during the summer. Room could use some fixing however for the price and all the other advantages it is fair what you get.
• Azim (8/5): I liked everything, I will come and stay there again - Excellent location. The administrator is always in touch. Clean towels and other toiletries are always in the boxes that are in the apartment block. Not as noisy as in other areas of Istanbul. Not a bad verada. There are many markets nearby that work until late. There are cafes and most importantly all types of transport nearby. Almost all the main attractions are within walking distance. One day during our stay, the municipality turned off the water for almost a day. And there was no water in the room at all. The administrator explained the reason to me and suggested waiting. There was no water even to wash our hands. We were not offered any reserve water. The problem was simply ignored and we were suggested to wait. There is a drain in the toilet that needs to be filled to avoid the smell. In general, these are all trifles and coincidences.

• Mary (9/5): A great place to stay in Galata! - Great place and such good value for money! It had lovely views and it was spacious for 2 people. Some maintenance is needed in the apartment, such as some of the cabinets, but this is the only small feedback I’ve got. Great location and the host was very communicative.

• Zarubina (9/5): A great place to fall in love with Istanbul in a few days and have a good rest after long walks - Amazing place, everything is good here: the house is located in a wonderful, quite quiet and cozy area and at the same time 5 minutes from the Galata Tower, the room has panoramic windows, from there you have a stunning view of the city and the bay. We were given the roombon the 5th floor, and I was very happy about that. I especially liked the possibility to have breakfast on the roof. There is enough space in the room, there are closets for clothes, kitchen utensils, I was looking for a place where there is a kitchen, and you can cook your own food. The two of us were there for 4 days and would love to come back for more as well. A few things that didn't ruin my stay at all, but might upset someone else. Some things are not in very good condition. For example, one of the cabinets in the kitchen with a broken shelf. The curtain rod seems to be falling off a bit, there were someone else's slippers under the bed, well, and a dish sponge was very lacking. But once again, all this did not prevent me from enjoying life in this room. Just a warning for those for whom this is important We were warned in advance that the stairs were steep - it was really true, after a long walk around the city this last leap was not easy :)

• Milović (10/5): Amazing terrace, will be staying again! - The location is perfect, a 10 min walk from Taksim square and 3 tram stops from the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofiya. The rooftop terrace literally makes this place worth everything, nothing like drinking coffee and watching the Bosphorus/Golden Horn. Theres plenty of restaurants around, and a bakery in the building. The apartments have everything you could need for a longer stay, we felt quite at home. It was a bit cold, the heating works via AC, but I'm sure this isn't a problem in summer. There's also no elevator, so if you're staying on the 5th floor and are out of shape this can be difficult. However, overall, definitely will be staying here again!
• Saskia (7/5): Fine - The location is perfect. From this place, you can travel easily to various areas in the city. The rooftop is also really nice, since you have a great view. The apartment itself was fine for a week. The apartment was not that clean. For example, the toilet was not completely clean since there were hairs on the toilet seat. Moreover, there was a weird smell for the whole week I spent here. With the excellent reviews, I expected a little bit more, but it was okay for a week.
• Daniil (3/5): Not recommend to stay at this place - Good location, but it was too noisy. And administrator was able to chat any time at WhatsApp Apartment was not good and not comfortable at all. Bathroom is old and it was hard to get hot water. It was dirty and smells bad. Bed sheets was old and with hairs. And sheet was not even tucked in. And a lot of dust. Owners of this apartment didn’t try to make this place look good. It was cheep, but for sure not worth the money. And if you planing to rest and chill — you will not have this option, because 24/7 it’s noises from the street. You can hear every word from people. And yeah, balcony is common, but at first you get expectations that this is your personal space

• Denise (7/5): Overall good if you need something basic - The apartment is in a very nice location, a small street 5 minutes away from the Galata Tower, well connected to the Sultanahmet area / Eminonu by tram, as well as very close to the Karakoy port to easily move around by boat. The apartment is cute and you will find all the essentials. It is a good place for a few days, especially if you plan to only use it mostly to shower and sleep. The host was very responsive on whatsapp and always available! Be aware that there are quite a lot of stairs, there is no hair dryer and not many kitchen utensils.. also, our room did not have chairs, so it was difficult for us to eat after cooking. Overall it is a good apartment, acceptable if you just need something basic, maybe a bit on the "expensive" side

Clean, communicative host, and accommodating with baby crib was wonderful. Laundry machine also very nice to have. The stairs to get up into the apartment are a lot, especially with kids or strollers. The hill down from the Main Street in Beyoğlu is a 10 minute uphill walk. Tough for families or elderly.

• Kevin (10/5): Looking forward to coming back. - This was a great stay. Yakup was fantastic with communication, even rearranging a cab from the airport when my flight was delayed late at night. Great key handover, great location, great views. Well functioning, small apartment with useful snackbars and shops round about. The rooftop terrace was great, though a little to hot for me in mid-July. Small but perfect for sole travellers or a patient couple. People have mentioned the smell in the bathroom which I could get but it didn't bother me at in the least, particularly with the door closed.

• Brzil (8/5): Nice view, comfy but not so cozy. - The view from the room is definitely amazing, you can see the most beautiful mosques and even the Galata Tower. The bed is very comfortable and commute to restaurants, touristic places and public transportation are super close by walk. The weather was a bit colder and the insulation is poor, there are some spots where you feel the cold air coming (by the windows and door). The bathroom had an unpleasant smell which stopped after clogging the hole in the floor which drains the water, and even having the contact from staff my messenger we didn't see them or got those things solved. I was expecting at least their attention to those matters. Anyhow we managed 6 days in the flat without major issues (: Ah and there is no TV in the flat, but they have a good hair dryer and iron.

• Konstantin (9/5): Superb - The apartment is located in a walking distance from a lot of sights and transport hubs. You can use a tram, ferry, metro, busses, anything you want. Actually we landed in Sabiha Gokcen airport, then travelled to Kadikoy using the underground and then just took a ferry. We had two heavy bags, but we had no problem in doing so. Although it's the European part you don't have to climb any hills to get there. If you decide to go from Shishane or Taksim stations, you'll have to roll your bags downhill, so take that into consideration. The apartment has all cooking utensils you might need, a washing machine and enough hot water. We stayed on the third floor, some reviews say that the higher you live, the worse the situation with hot water is, but we had zero problems with it. We travelled in February, and so it was quite chilly inside, but the air-conditioner on heating mode was enough for us. Overall- great worth for the money! I wish the apartment had a couple of chairs and a bedside table\es and some of the towels weren't that old. Other than that it was small but cosy. It was perfect for two nights, because we mostly only slept there and had breakfast. If we had stayed for a longer period I would consider renting something bigger. We stayed on the third floor and our view was not that great, maybe consider taking 4th or fifth floor. The terrace view was great, but the tables and chairs were dirty, and honestly it was too cold to sit there anyway. The mattress was a bit too soft for my taste, but maybe it's just me.

The staff sends a message to you almost every day to check if everything is going well. A really good value for the money. The staircase can be tricky for someone with a handicap. Fortunately, they warn you on booking.

• Tatiana (10/5): Perfect location to explore the city on foot - The location is just perfect to explore the city - we went everywhere on foot! The historical neighborhood is nice, safe and close to different sights. The apartment itself is very neat and clean. It can be a bit loud even with the windows closed, but it's just normal when you live in the city and not in the countryside... The hotel is not at the busy road by the way. . Wifi worked well and the communication with the host went really well! There is no lift in the building and the staircase is winding... So if you have big suitcases ask for the room on the 1st floor....

• Maha (10/5): I can't recommend it highly enough! - So many positive things to share! 1) The apartment is very well situated: - in Galata, a charming neighborhood that is a lot more authentic and agreeable than the overpriced and over-touristic Sultanahmet, in my opinion. - near the Galata Tower and Istiklal Street, easily accessible on foot. - near the T1 tramway (2 minutes on foot downhill) which is a lot quicker than the bus and serves all the major areas in Istanbul. - next to an adorable rug shop with a charming and helpful owner Kadir. - near lovely coffee shops, a great Lebanese restaurant, the restaurant Sarihan Iskembe which is open 24/7 for great value for money, and the Karaköy district full of trendy bars and taverns. 2) The apartment itself was clean, cozy, well furnished, with a comfy bed and an inviting bathroom. The rooftop was small but the view was fantastic with a 180 of the Galata Tower, the Bosphorus, and the Gold Horn. 3) Last but certainly not least, the highlight of our stay was Yakup, the manager. Since day one, he was very quick to respond to messages and come up with solutions. - We arrived extremely late, around 2/3 a.m. in the morning, and he had somebody get us directly from the airport shuttle he booked for us to the apartment. His friend is the one who gave us a very good tip on where to eat at 3 in the morning in Istanbul. - During the whole stay, he regularly kept in touch to make sure we had everything we needed. - On the day of our departure, since our flight was at midnight, he very helpfully kept our luggage allowing us to fully enjoy our last day in Istanbul. This is more of a disclaimer than anything: We did not cook in the apartment, so I do not know if the kitchen is suitable for cooking. The neighborhood of Galata is on a hill, which means there is quite a lot of climbing to do in order to explore the area. The building has no elevator and the stairs to get to the rooftop are pretty steep.
• Loredana (10/5): Very nice place and pet friendly - Very good location, nice, clean and comfortable.Location close to all tourist attractions, close to the tram station, a few minutes walk from Istiklal, Galata Tower and Galata Port. Our host, Yakup, was very kind, helped us with everything we needed, always helpful and very kind to our dog.It's a pet friendly place and that is very important for us.
• Riccardo (9/5): 360 View on the city - Best Location in Istanbul - The location is awesome - we were able to get anywhere in so little time. Perfect location, nearby all the major attractions. The view from the room was also breathtaking - we were at the last floor. It was tough every time climb up the stairs, but boy did I enjoy the view! You could even see the galata tower. There are windows on the 3 walls of the bedroom! The main view was on the port, and you could see every day different cruises stopping for the night. We found the bathroom not properly cleaned and the shower was clogged. I immediately informed the host - The next day everything was fixed, and I really appreciated his commitment.

• Andrea (10/5): Exceptional - This was a fantastic place for us to stay! The host was great at communicating and making sure we were well and didn't need anything. Keys were ready for us as we had a late flight which was appreciated since we were so tired. The location is great as it is close to istiklal street as well as the Galata area and was also walkable to Sultanahmet area. In fact we didn't need to take the Metro during our stay. The room has everything you need along with a kitchen and mini fridge if you needed to cook. Would stay here again.

• J (8/5): Very good - Great location. Close to great food locations near the bosphorus. Close to transport. No noise problems which is very important to me. I am a light sleeper but I slept very well. Very nice terrace on the top floor. Host should make better effort to clean the toilet and bathroom and most importantly there is a bad smell coming from the channel in the bathroom. We had to keep the door closed so the smell doesn't enter the rest of the room.

• Thais (7/5): Location and price - Location was the highlight of this hotel, just a few steps to the tram that gets you to all main touristic locations and close to others by a short walk. The air conditioner and washing machine were a plus for us. Kitchen had the basics, could have some more accessories like scissors, cups, more cutlery. Bathroom had a bad smell that wouldn't go away and room was not cleaned daily. Getting the keys was a little trouble as the owner was not there waiting for us and the address provided is not the correct one.

• David (7/5): Nice location and room, but very bad smell - We really enjoyed the location and the responsiveness of the owners. The room was clean (floor and walls), functional and very quiet. There was a constant dirty smell in the room from the pipes. The owner’s brother came to fix it with vinegar, but the smell remained for the rest of the stay, including during the night. I suggest you fix the root cause of this smell

• Darya (10/5): Overall a great value for money. Definitely recommend and definitely planning to come back! - the place is located in walking distance from everywhere. Very convenient to explore old town and the modern side. Tram is super close but you can actually just walk around everywhere. the host was wonderful, he was super helpful, even waited for me on arrival which was very late at night, he was just a message away and constantly checked if I needed anything and if so he was promptly helping. The apartment itself is small, but you you don’t need much space when you are there to discover. the view from the terrace upstarts was wonderful! just a pity I didn’t go up more times. Thought I’d spend more time there. but was busy discovering Istanbul. The only downside was a lack of any hooks in the bathroom, nowhere to hang your towels and the clothes. And also the staircase is very steep, but the host was very helpful with overcoming this when it came to bringing the luggage.

• Amr (10/5): cozy, tidy and quiet - highly recommended! very cozy and tidy. I love how thoughtful the host was! everything you need for a comfortable stay is available. apartment is super clean and everything smells nice. Location is good, near Istiklal street. There is a supermarket downstairs.

• Shezad (10/5): Exceptional - Had a great stay in this cosy flat It was perfect for our 4 days in Istanbul, right in the heart, the busy area, but tucked away, so it's not very noisy. Thanks for having us hop to be back. No lift elevator
• Roman (10/5): wonderful - close to city centre close to tram and metro stop quick time to both airports very nice view around the flat cats serenade at night
