• Zachary (10/5): My favorite out of three hotels in Istanbul! - Clean, nice, includes water, coffee, and tea. Balcony view was great for sitting on and relaxing at different points throughout the day. The neighborhood around the property is interesting with lots of shops, cafes, and restaurants. I recommend staying here if you have the opportunity! Staff also helped me with mailing some letters when I had questions. It’s not the closest to the ferry, bus, or train. Expect to walk 12-15 minutes or so to these local transit hubs.

Our room was in the basement and we could hear anytime someone walked around on the main floor. It’s staffed all night with someone in reception so every time they moved we heard it. We really didn’t get any sleep because of this. If I were to rebook I would make sure to have a room higher up.

The room was spacious and we really appreciated the fresh towels daily. The patio and tea were also very nice touches. The communication, check-in and check-out were smooth. The bathroom was quite small.

The hotel is housed in a beautiful old historical building, which gives it such a unique and charming character. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very cozy. The location is fantastic, couldn't ask for better. The only downside worth mentioning is the noise insulation — you can hear the street outside and footsteps from the guests above. That said, street noise is pretty much unavoidable in Istanbul, so I wouldn't hold it against the hotel too much. Next time I'll simply book a room on the top floor to avoid the upstairs neighbor issue!

Нам не повезло, над нами заселилась пара, и дама гуляла по номеру в каблуках в 7 утра. Пришлось встать в этот день раньше запланированного.

• Jacob (10/5): Un petit hôtel de charme inoubliable, au prix abordable. - L'hôtel est situé dans l'un des quartiers les plus agréables d'Istanbul. À quelques mètres de là, cafés inattendus et charmants, artisans sensibles et créatifs, restaurants aux mets délicats et merveilleux, alors que le quartier reste populaire et résiste à la gentrification. L'accueil de l'hôtel est simple, amical et sans chichis. La chambre est spacieuse et lumineuse. Dieu merci, pas de télévision. Les oreillers pourraient être de meilleure qualité. Les draps pourraient être un peu plus fins aussi. Le bar pourrait être mieux achalandé. Sinon, tout est parfait!

Really, this is one of the nicest hotel rooms I've stayed in, for great value. The staff was extremely friendly; had great English; and they went above and beyond in helping me with little things, like finding a pharmacy open on a national holiday and learning when the ticket counter for my flight would be open at the airport. My only critique is that, being on the ground floor by the entrance, it was very easy to hear noise from other neighbors both in the entrance hallway, and through the floor in the room above me. However, my understanding is that sound-proofing is not standard in Istanbul, so I'm not making this an actual complaint. I was able to sleep ok.

A lot of drinking water in the room. We had breakfast elsewhere. If back to Istanbul, we might look for a slightly cheaper hotel with similar facilities. It did not mention on booking.com that the last stretch is up the hill and with two suitcases after lengthy trip, it was a bit tiring. We also used to two blankets and only had one.

It’s even got - Excellent location - near the ferry terminal and to various shopping streets. There are many cafes, restaurants and small supermarkets around so food is easy to find. The room was very spacious for 3 adults. Very clean too! They also provided snacks, coffee and tea and changed our towels everyday! The staff are friendly and very helpful. We wanted to leave our large suitcase at the reception because it was too heavy to carry upstairs but the staff offered to carry it up to our room for us! Absolutely nothing.

Posizione ottima per chi preferisce soggiornare a Kadiköy (parte asiatica), quindi fuori dalla massa si turisti che stanno nella parte europea di Istanbul. La camera era molto carina, letto comodo, piumone molto caldo (NB. Capodanno 2026). Mi è piaciuto tutto ma il bagno era piuttosto freddo. Dalla ventola entrava aria freddissima e il riscaldamento non si poteva alzare. Lo dico per i gestori, che magari possono trovare una soluzione per il futuro :)

На странице отеля на букинге крупно нарисована плашка «хороший завтрак», это сыграло основную роль при заказе данного откля, при этом в самом отеле мужчина на ресепшен сказал что только номер и завтраков у них нет. Сам номер был на -1 этаже с выходом на внутренний двор где кухня, то есть вид из окна практически отсутствовал.

The breakfast was exquisite, authentic and also made with love, great attention to detail. The room was really beautiful and also homey. The neighborhood is calm but fun, great mix of coffee houses, bars and restaurants, and old fashioned teahouses. Above all the staff were incredibly kind and went out of their way to make you feel special and cared for. I was always happy coming back to my room at night. Nothing! Everything was wonderful.

• Yuki (10/5): - The room with the stylish and pretty interior was super clean. The location was really convenient. You can walk to the citycenter and the ferry stop, and you can also reach it from the Havaist bus stop in just a few minutets on foot. The Google map might suggest walking to the pedestrian bridge you have to walk to the walk pass bridge to cross the street, but there's actually the crosswalk with a sign. You can experience the real local vibe, and discover a great herb shop, bakeries, and locantas around the hotel. It's not as busy as Kadikoy city center. The owner and people were really sweet and always attentive. There is even a little cozy kitchen and a lovely terrace. Thaks to the warm ambiance, we could feel as if we were visiting our uncle's house. The street in front of it is quite steep. It was a bit of a workout to climb up to the hotel, especially pulling a large suitcase. However, I can say you can hardly find a hotel without such a steep location when walking around the Old City, Karakoy, and Kadikoy. Again, the hotel itself was just perfect!

• Mike (8/5): I would stay here again. - Property was less than a 10 minute walk from Kadikoy ferry. Entering the hotel was like entering a quiet sanctuary. Our room faced the back and was a great reprieve from the busy streets of Istanbul. Interior of hotel and our room was finished in pine and we loved walking into that fresh pine smell. We also had a small porch which faced the sunrise so it felt nice and warm in the morning. The only negative was the shower never reached a hot temperature for me.

• Helga (10/5): Es fühlt sich wie ein eigenes zu Hause an :-) - Habe das Ikiz Konak zum 2.mal besucht und es war fantastisch. Die Lage ist perfekt, ein wenig ab vom Verkehr und deshalb ruhig und trotzdem nur 5 Gehminuten zur Fähre und Busbahnhof und zentrumsnah zu Moda. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, jeden Tag werden frische Handtücher und 1 Flasche Wasser zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Betten waren super bequem. Vor allem das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kann ich wirklich nur empfehlen. Wer frühstücken möchte zahlt einen Aufpreis, ist aber ebenso gut und alles frisch zubereitet.
• Laura (10/5): Cute neighborhood that is a break from the touristy areas. - It felt like our own little apartment in the charming neighborhood of Kadikoy. Very clean, spacious, and a cute little pop out patio with a view of the water.

• Megan (10/5): Definitely will stay again - Very spacious, exceptionally clean and comfortable—it felt like being home. Staff very friendly. Excellent location. Very quiet.
• Anne Cathrine (8/5): Anbefales - Jeg ble oppgradert til rom med balkong i øverste etasje. Veldig sjarmerende, Stort rom. TV med alle relevante kanaler. Bra internett. Super beliggenhet i hyggelig område med mange kafeer o.l. Hyggelig betjening. Jeg spiste frokost én dag. Den var nesten for omfattende. Ellers kryr det av kafeer i området som tilbyr frokost. Det er lytt, mest lytt fra oppgangen men også mellom rommene.

• Quentin (10/5): - Hôtel très beau et bien entretenu. L’hôte est très accueillant. La chambre était bien décorée et propre. Concernant la situation nous avons hésité longtemps de loger à Kadiköy car plus loin des lieux touristiques mais nous n’avons pas regretté car le quartier est vivant et plus authentique que les autres. Ils y a beaucoup de très bon restaurants autour de l’hôtel qui pratiquent des tarifs normaux. Le seul point négatif était l’insonorisation des chambres car tout était en bois. Ça dépend surtout de la civilité des voisins…
