The hotel's greatest strengths are its impeccable cleanliness and its truly helpful, professional staff. Every team member we interacted with spoke excellent English, which made communication smooth and easy throughout our trip. The location is also very good, providing a great base for both business and leisure activities in the city. My only small remark is for future guests: if you are booking a room for three people, I would recommend double-checking at the time of reservation whether the extra bed is included in your rate or if it requires an additional fee. In our case, we had not confirmed this beforehand. However, the staff was exceptionally understanding and accommodating—they provided the extra bed for us at no extra charge, which we greatly appreciated. Considering the quality of the rooms, the amenities, and the outstanding service, the stay was absolutely worth the money. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 month stay in the fully equipped one bedroom premier apartment 700 sf/65 sqm. Felt like home with views from the living room and separate master bedroom. Powerful shower with endless hot water. Very comfortable bedding and pillows. So convenient to have a washer and dryer I used everyday. Every staff member from the guards and security at the entrance, the concierge and staff, reception staff, lounge staff, GM, Residence Mgr., Ms.Lily Asst. Director of Sales and shuttle drivers became my family. The international breakfast on the 37th floor offers many selections and made to order items. The hotel shuttle service (air conditioned van and open air shuttle) to nearby Sala Daeng or Chong Nonsi BTS, Silom or Lumpini MRT, Dusit Central Park, Silom Complex, Park Silom, One Bangkok or Lumphini Park is an extra bonus. You can walk to Park Silom on Convent Road in 10 minutes. BNH hospital is across the street. Lots of street food and markets all around and restaurants. Only a few BTS stops from the Chao Phraya River for access to boat service to Wat Arun and the Grand Palace or the popular ICONSiam. Only 2 BTS stops to Central World, Siam Paragon and MBK. The hotel is centrally located in Sathorn and it's around 10mins - 15mins drive to shopping malls lime Siam Paragon, Platinum Fashion Mall, Terminal 21. Just 3 mins walk to Let's Relax Thai massage which was very convenient. The hotel has very nice environment with good facilities like the gym and the pool. We stayed in the 2 bedroom executive with a family area, kitchen and dining. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast spread had a good mixed of western and Asian selection with daily different options. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. A special thanks to the Front Counter, Ms Fang and Ms. Eye. Would recommend this hotel!

The rooms were clean and luxurious with a washing machine included in each room, you wouldn’t know how much you need access to one on your trip until you have one. Total game changer! No need to do laundry once you get home. The staff are excellent and friendly. They help you take care of things you didn’t even realised you missed. Truly impeccable training, especially Scarlet whom we were lucky enough to have help us during our stay. She can speak at least 3 languages and I’m sure many more! We will absolutely be staying with Ascott again if given the chance.

The ambiance is lovely, but what truly makes this place special is the incredible staff who go above and beyond. I want to give a special shout-out to Pla, whose wonderfully engaging personality and friendly conversation made my evening. She has a real talent for making guests feel so welcome and at ease. Equally impressive was the bartender, Yo. He is a true artist and was telling me about his upcoming signature cocktail. The description alone was enough to make my mouth water—a unique creation topped with a float of Shiraz. The passion and creativity he puts into his craft are evident, and I am genuinely excited to come back and be one of the first to try it. The team's dedication to creating a comfortable and welcoming environment is not just a goal, it's a reality. I can't recommend this place enough, largely thanks to the stellar service from Pla and Yo. I will definitely be back soon!

Our bathroom also let in rainwater (again no doubt due to the earthquake). The Ascott offered the pool at the Urbana next door by way of compensation but that hotel is very tired and a little run down. The staff at the Ascott were tremendous, very professional and super helpful. They even allow you to call for pick up from Silom Complex if you’re an ASR member — perfect during the storms and torrential downpours we experienced during our stay.

As an example, we didn't realise that we needed to prebook the free shuttle to Icon Siam shopping centre so there was no space on the shuttle when we got downstairs. The staff apologised and then arranged a taxi for us, free of charge! When we had to leave very early in the morning for an excursion, the staff provided beautifully packed breakfast bags for us to eat on the way. Our apartment was big, with a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. Always clean. The hotel is close to Silom centre, lots of places to eat (street food galore!), and a couple of train stations, so very convenient. Thank you to the staff for making our first visit to Thailand so wonderful!

When we arrived the beds for both of our kids were not prepared. The extra bed was not there and due so one of them had to sleep between us. When you want to order a drink or something to eat at the poolbar you have to pay the food and the drinks separately. This is very uncommon for a 5* hotel. In some elevators the airco doesn’t work properly and can be improved. The shuttle service took a different ride and longer route to the airport due the traffic at that moment of time but I think it was also to avoid highway toll. Again not very 5*

However, I was a bit disappointed to learn that late check-out isn’t allowed if the booking is made through Expedia or other third-party sites—it’s only available when booking directly through their website. When I checked in, I requested a late check-out and was told it was only available for ASR members. So, I registered and became a member. Despite this, on the day of check-out, I received a call from reception informing me that late check-out is only granted to those who book through the hotel’s own website, not through third-party platforms. She did allow it this time as an exception, but made it clear it wouldn’t be permitted in the future.
