- Dina (2/5): Stay away and run a mile from this dirty joke of a place! - The only thing I liked was the art piece of Queen Elisabeth. Absolutely nothing else. Stay away from that place! Honestly, it’s terrible. Very noisy, not possible to sleep! Dirty little kitchen, dirty windows, no sound proof windows, furniture is all ultra old and stained! Disgusting and disappointing for such money!!!! For any money in fact! Customer care is very bad!
Shower is terrible! It’s boiling and hot and cold don’t mix properly!! I told about it to the host and they did nothing! They charge £300 deposit prior to checking for any potential damage But everything is very bad, dirty and damaged already! There is literally nothing what could cost £300! Nothing! Don’t waste your money or your time staying in this terrible apartment! I will attach some photos!
- Thibault (9/5): Great bright Flat in a cool district - The location was nice, in a cosy district.
The flat is very bright and comfortable.
The terrace is amazing. Sometimes we heard a bit the train, but we got used to it.
Everything was perfect though
- Susana (10/5): Beautiful apartment in great location - Amazing apartment, lovely decorated, super cozy , great terrace I liked everything
- Mathieu (1/5): Worst nightmare in london, never again!!!! - L'emplacement Le service de conciergerie est déplorable!!!!
- Rathkey (8/5): A very comfortable flat in an interesting part of London for four friends travelling together. - Apartment was easy to find. I liked being able to sit out on balcony. Property owner allowed us to extend our stay for a few hours on our departure day so that we could leave our luggage there. Everything was fine.
- Doris (8/5): - Funky spacious flat in central Bricklane. Be patient there are a long correspondence with the owner and you will have to give a deposit.
- Msolari92 (9/5): Superb - Great location and beautfiul apartment. Great view and close to brick lane with lots of restaurants and shops. It was not absolutely clean (e.g. some hair on bathroom floor) and 3 blankets for 3 people would have been nice
- Laura (8/5): Very good - lovely house in a great neighborhood
- James (6/5): Poor which is a shame as the location is kinda perfect and we would have hoped to use it regularly - location, close to the places we wanted to visit. iI’s really close to the railway so it’s very noisy. Also, although the property has a no party rule there was a party in the building which kept us awake the whole of the first night
The apartment felt a bit dirty with odds and sods left in the fridge and a kitchen door hanging off.
we weren’t met by the people renting out the flat and instead we were left to check ourselves in with pictures texted to us.
All in all it was a disappointing experience.
- Evanthia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maria (8/5): Could have been perfect… - Very good location for this apartment in the heart of Shoreditch, with Brick Lane just around the corner.
Cool and relatively clean. The design is thought through and the atmosphere is like in the photos, maybe even better.
A couple of steep stairs though, so nothing to book if you are physically restrained.
A hallway with access to a huge terrace, which is in need of some looking after (dry plants, a bit messy) but otherwise ok with a spectacular view over Canary Wharf. There are two lines passing by ( underground and train) but we weren’t disturbed.
A good thing to know though, if you are a light sleeper.
One very big bedroom and a smaller one. Very clean bathroom with a lot of fluffy towels and a good sized kitchen with all you need plus a bit more ( Oatmilk, tea, coffee, etc.).
Very pleasant living room with a small TV, but then we didn’t use it.
All in all , fully recommended for 4 adults or a family with 2 kids. Very unpleasant surprise when we arrived by car and got a message that…” we would like to let you know that no parking is possible with this flat..”
Taking into consideration that we had specifically asked for confirmation regarding the parking (that is included and free of charge in the Booking ad) and even got the code for the access to the yard where we were supposed to park our car it was extremely frustrating.
Anybody who knows this area of Shoreditch also knows how parking can be a problem.
We were directed to book a parking ourselves (!!) with a promise to get refunded.
When you drove for 10 hours and booked an appointment to access with your car, it’s not good for an answer.
Eventually, we parked in the street and got fined before finding a parking lot nearby the second and third day.
We certainly hope to get refunded quickly.
Not a good experience.
