Guest Reviews
- Vivienne (6/5): - An adequate place to stay for a few days. Residential area, but not a particularly nice one, fly tipping and 10 to 15 minutes walk from nearest DLR which was Mudchute. Check in was a nightmare. I had to phone for the key safe number and while I was on hold, a neighbour told me this happens all the time. The property was obviously being used as a laundry for a hotel as the cupboards were rammed with toilet rolls and bed linen. Black bin liners full of bed linnen were piled up outside the kitchen. The kitchen was barely adequate with limited cooking utensils, pots and pans, plates and cutlery. The bath had no stopper, so I had to use a bottle of shampoo to cover the plug to have a bath. The bedroom was adequate and the bed was comfortable and clean. The tv needed an account to view and the water heater outside my room was noisy. There was an unused bicycle and outside heater in the garden which needed attention.
- Amy (10/5): - Everything was great, quick and easy check in. Rooms were clean and tidy, housekeeping came and cleaned the house every morning, there was loads of crockery to use in the kitchen which was great as my partner and I cooked every night we were there! The garden was nice too, I’d definitely stay here again! Good value for money and very comfy beds - we stayed in the quadruple room with our own private bathroom.
Only downside’s were that there’s only one bathroom on the 1st floor for all other rooms but there’s no bath plug. Also they don’t mention a security deposit when booking, they send you an email saying you need to pay it before getting the codes but you can pay with Klarna like we did lol. Only thing is we had to contact them twice to get our refund back but it’s on its way now.
Overall rated 9/10 would definitely stay again.
- Essabe (10/5): - They should put another toilet in ground floor
- Alana (10/5): - Safe - cameras everywhere in and around property, lovely place comfortable, exceptionally
clean & tidy. Stayed twice highly recommend
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Had to pay deposit without knowing and I didn’t get a refund for my money or my voucher
- Robert (6/5): Average but ok for the price - This hotel wasn't the most expensive so can't expect the world but there were a number of things that made the stay worse than ut could have been. First the check in time of 4pm is extremely unreasonable. Not sure why it's so late when checkout is 11am. Also the room was billed as having a double and a single bed. It's not a single bed it's a Z bed and a very old and tired one at that. Double bed was comfy but disappointing about the lack of the single bed. Lastly the house must be the noisiest in London - everything from doors to flooring creaks and the toilet makes it sound like the place is coming down when it flushes - not ideal with one bathroom to 5 rooms. Other than that alright, nice quiet location.
- Evans (2/5): Terrible service - I would not recommend to my enemy.
- Verified traveler (2/5): awful service and dirty room - i got there and the room hadn't been cleaned since last guest, dirty bed sheets, towels.
i arrived late as i didn't get a confirmation from accommodation and he to contact them at this point i was so tired i couldn't to cancel and rebook. But the service, accommodation standards were terrible even in the morning banging on door rudely to say they need to clean, even though i arrived to a dirty room no apologies or even compromise just rude. If i got there before i would if demanded a refund as couldn't even sleep in bed.
- Paul (4/5): Not a great stay we couldn’t stay and went home - Unfortunately the property room that we were assigned was not up to an acceptable standard, unclean, tired and noisy. We left 30 min after arriving and drove home to Manchester as my young daughter did not want to sleep on her “bed”
- Jhojho (2/5): - The bed had blood stains underneath the covers.
- Sanjekrishna (10/5): - Great
- Martin (4/5): - Other guests left/arrived at 2am loudly. Cars on the street outside were racing and honking.
Unbagged trash in the front yard and across the road.
There was a delay in sending security code numbers (no SMS text) and had to contact Expedia Customer Service (who were great).
I can’t recommend this property.
- prab (4/5): - Presented well, but there cleanliness is questionable. There was mould in the bathroom. The bedsheets in my bedroom smelled funny a bad smell. Bed was comfortable which was a positive. There were stains on the floor of the bedroom
- Lydia (8/5): - Shared bathroom but a lovely place to stay, thank you for the excellent hospitality :)
- Chloe (8/5): - customer service was super helpful, room was comfortable. shared bathroom and had some difficulty with the lock which was resolved quickly
- lukman (8/5): - nice and clean, convenient location, good communication, recommend it
- Ryan (10/5): - Great location for exploration into the city and the boroughs. Has everything you need and is a super quiet area. Would return
- Rahaf (2/5): - It was the worst place we could ever go to. There were food leftovers under the bed and a coke bottle. There were stains on the floor and on the curtains. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting and the bathtub had a big stain and you could not shower. The stairs were cracking as other guests were walking on them. We checked out immediately. And I've tried to reach them to get my depositon of £100 and they still hasn't answered. I do not recommend this to anyone!!
- Marina (6/5): - There was a good customer phone service who removed the obstacle of bad advertising
On hotels.com should be clearly seen all conditions before payment. Such as hours of checking, deposits etc
- Cecily (6/5): - It’s a reasonable price for short trip
