- Craig (9/5): Classic London flat close to transport. Spacious and comfortable - Great location and plenty of room. We had a basement apartment but still had natural light and windows that opened. We had an issue with the hot water and the property manager acted very quickly and got it fixed quickly and professionally which was appreciated Nothing really to dislike
- Judith (7/5): It could have been lovely, but lack of response from the management meant that serious issues were not addressed at the - Very clean, well located (quiet, although still in central London and with good transport links), well equipped for a short stay. Check-in is at 4pm, which is late for London and certainly inconvenient for us. If you pay £30 extra you can check in at 2pm, although we experienced some problems with communication on this. The bed was too short for someone over 6ft tall and, as it was only 4.5ft wide, it was difficult to sleep well with two in the bed. The bed was also very squishy and with an extremely thick duvet (no alternative in the wardrobe as some other properties supply) and it was a very hot bank holiday weekend. The main problem was that no-one responded to my voicemail from Friday afternoon until I called again when we were home on Tuesday. Ultimately the managers of the property were apologetic for the shortcomings and gave us a discount for the inconveniences we had experienced.

- Joao (8/5): Beautiful and clean apartment - It's a beautifully decorated flat, spacious and well-illuminated. It is easily reached by foot from St Pancras, in a calm and leafy street. It was very clean. We were three, so we used the living room/kitchen as a third bedroom. All three beds (two bedrooms & sofa) were comfortable. There was a problem with the water on our last night: there was none... We couldn't get in touch with anyone, not even in the morning (during the supposed office opening hours). Finally, we met the cleaning lady who was extremely nice and offered to let us use the shower in another apartment. Aside from that problem, everything was ok!

I couldn't find any way to turn on the heating when it got chilly. Only an air conditioner which didn't seem to blow warm air. Instructions would have been helpful.

On arrival my Studio Apartment in the basement was really well appointed, with lovely Neff appliances, and everything I needed to make my stay a pleasure, I even had L'Occitane products in the bathroom, just unexpected, but veru much appreciated. Super easy to access, the host just emailed me everything I needed to access the property independently. Door code for external front door and internal lock box for room key. The location of the property is just 12 min walk from Russell Square Tube, 2 mins walk from a lovely Costa Coffee and 15 min walk from Kings Cross Station. Wonderful, I've rebooked already! N/A

Ruhige Lage. In wenigen Minuten ist Bus oder U Bahn erreichbar. Eventuell zur Optimierung: Haken für Mäntel/ Jacken im Eingangsbereich wären von Vorteil. Handtuchhalter im Badezimmer zum Trocknen der Handtücher.

- Al (4/5): I like london, the people, the pubs, the entertainment - it was all good - it is good to be alive! - it is a good location a tree lined street I like to walk so when I say 'near' it means within a few miles from the apartment - it is near everything a takeaway coffee shop around the corner having the ability to cook for myself was interesting though the store required some training making the wifi a must St Paul's and the National Museum were significant Russell Square park is close and a great spot to sit on a bench to rest, to read, to meet, there was no silverware: forks, spoons, knives no spices beyond salt/pepper/sugar it was hot and the apartment was stifling for two days while the rest were fine - the fan helped - not a big issue for me someone was smoking something in the building making it very uncomfortable (but not every night) no small blanket for the bed just a heavy one and in the heat it was that or nothing there is a bird (see photo) that might live in the tree behind the apartment, we had a long talk, it was good

- Jörg (9/5): Apartment in sehr schöner Lage, dass einen mitten in London wohnen lässt - Die Lage war großartig, ebenso war die Ausstattung für einen Aufenthalt von einer Woche hinreichend. Ebenso lief die Kommunikation mit der Wohnungsverwaltung per E-Mail sehr verlässlich, d.h. auf Nachrichten wurde sehr zeitnah reagiert. Direkt zu Anfang ist beim ersten Aufklappen ein Klapptisch, der nur noch provisorisch angeschraubt war, aus der Verankerung gerissen. Handwerker kamen sehr zeitnah und gleich zweimal, allerdings wurde der Tisch bis zur Abreise dann doch nicht repariert (was allerdings nicht wirklich gestört hat, zumal die Handwerker jeweils in unserer Abwesenheit da waren, d.h. wir mussten deshalb unsere Tagespläne nicht ändern). Vermutlich fehlten schlicht die notwendigen Materialien.

- Laurent Lucq (8/5): Un pied à terre à Londres idéal pour court séjour - bien situé, lits très confortables et appartement spacieux Je recommande cette location Il manque un livret descriptif pour expliquer ou prendre le métro ou comment utiliser les appareils électriques De même , impossible de signaler les problèmes comme les tâches au sol, les tâches de moisissures, une plinthe qui se décolle, un tiroir de cuisine mal fixé, un rideau HS et on a peur que l on nous dise que c est nous ..... Il manque un abonnement Netflix aussi pour pouvoir se reposer le soir devant un film ou une série en français
- Günther Blatnik (5/5): - Die Lage war letztendlich nicht so schlecht. Das Apartment erscheint nur auf den ersten Blick nett. In der Dusche macht sich leider der Schimmel breit. Der Heizkörper im Bad tropft wenn man ihn aktiviert. Die Matratzen haben ehrlich gesagt die besten Tage hinter sich. Man spürt jede einzelne Feder. Der Wasserhahn in der Küche ließ sich nicht betätigen. Die Böden in dem Apartment sind alles andere aber sicher nicht eben. Schade eigentlich. Der Preis ist sicher nicht gerechtfertigt!

- Susanna (9/5): Good compromise - It was close to the conference room I had to get to each day, and easy to reach by bus. The size of the apartment is just ok for one person. Rather clean if one doesn't check the odd places (like dust on the fire extinguisher), the bathroom was ok. Shops are a five minute walk away (but nothing in the same street). I didn't really use the kitchenette except for the kettle and the fridge, but there was no cutlery which is a bit strange. I was in October when the weather started to change so the room was rather cold - which was ok as I mostly only stayed there to sleep.

- Anders (2/5): Outstanding Location - But Flat in Need of Major Renovation - The location is truly outstanding. The flat is situated in a charming and quiet neighbourhood, directly opposite the Charles Dickens Museum, and within walking distance of several attractions, restaurants, cafés, and pubs. It’s ideally located for exploring London on foot. The flat had what you would need for a long weekend in terms of kitchen equipment, and it was appreciated that there was an iron, which was very useful, although the Nespresso machine unfortunately did not work. Overall, the layout worked well for a short stay, and the area itself added a lot to the experience. As a small local tip, we can highly recommend visiting the pub The Duke, just around the corner, which has a great atmosphere and is perfect for a relaxed drink. Unfortunately, the overall condition of the flat was disappointing. It is generally worn and clearly in need of renovation. The flat would benefit from repainting, there was visible mould in the bathroom, the lighting was very poor, and cleanliness was below expectations. The bed was extremely soft, which negatively affected our sleep. The flat turned out to be a basement unit, which was not clearly stated in the booking description. Perhaps we simply overlooked it, but it was not clear from the booking information. Combined with very poor insulation and old windows, the flat was uncomfortably cold, especially for a winter stay. While we appreciated that a portable radiator and an extra duvet were provided after we asked, the flat should not require additional heating to be comfortable. The most serious issue occurred late on Saturday night, when we returned to find a major water leak in the bathroom. Brown water was running and dripping down through the ceiling and the light fixtures, making the bathroom unusable and raising serious health and safety concerns. We contacted the emergency number provided and spoke to a very polite and nice man, but were told that no immediate action could be taken because it was Saturday night. As we could not stay in the flat under these conditions, we had to relocate to a hotel in the middle of the night, which significantly disrupted our trip. After several calls and emails with Booking.com, we were eventually refunded all three nights, which we appreciated. With its excellent location, this could become a truly great flat if it were properly renovated, better maintained, and brought up to a standard that matches its potential.

It was such a pain to take all the luggage to top floor without the lift. I understand it was mentioned in the details but it was buried in the fine print and it ruined the trip for me. 2. - Libby (8/5): Comfortable little flat, great location, would stay again as long as I can manage the stairs! - Fantastic location - walkable to stations, attractions, legal quarter, South Bank etc (if you like walking, as we do). Directly opposite Charles Dickens museum.The flat was clean, comfortable and reasonably well equipped. I made a blunder on arriving - the key fob was not in the safe and it never occurred to me that my husband might have arrived before me (we were travelling separately). Staff on phone were incredibly helpful and able to provide alternative means of entry, which of course was not needed in the end. But great customer service. 58 steps to the top floor is not for everyone- worth checking in advance for anyone with mobility issues. Coffee machine didn’t work but we left a note on it so hopefully it will have been replaced.

- Luca (8/5): Ideale per single - Il monolocale è al secondo piano e dà sul retro, risultando così silenzioso e privato. L'appartamento è molto ben ammobiliato, il bagno è ben dimensionato e nuovo. La cucina è ben attrezzata, dotata di piaste a induzione, forno, bollitore, tostapane. Il riscaldamento è molto potente, se necessario. Il sistema di check in è molto efficace e moderno (codici via mail, fob per le porte). La posizione è comoda per il British Museum e la stazione metro di Holton è a 10 minuti a piedi. La tariffa di 30gbp per l'early check in è un po' eccessiva. Il prezzo per notte è oggettivamente molto alto, ma resta la migliore offerta per qualità/prezzo nella zona.

- Luis (6/5): Opholdet var samlet set godt, med pæne omgivelser og hjælpsomt personale. Indtjekningen fungerede nemt via nøgleboks, og - Indretningen var rigtig fin, og personale var hjælpsomme med at udlevere en babyseng. Indtjekning var nemt og udført via nettet med udlevering af nogle i nægleboks Der var kun en lille dyn til at dele i sengen, så enten mig eller min kæreste frøs om natten. Vi savnede en ekstra dyn og/eller tæppe i værelset. Desuden fungerede radiatoren i badeværelset ikke.
- Bernadette (1/5): STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE AND AVOID 'THE STUDIO' - WHICH IS AN ATTIC ROOM!!!! - Nothing This was a farce from start to finish. They did not send me any checking in details so i found myself outside the property not being able to get in and not knowing which apartment I was going to stay in and it was a horrible rainy day. Luckliy there was a couple who were also staying there who gave me the whatsapp number to contact them and I was able to find my STUDIO!!! I was not informed at any time by them that the studio was at the top of 4 flights of stairs so I was luckly I didn't have too much luggage. When I got into the studio it was as small as a shoe box. It was cold and no creature comforts at all. The radiator in the bathroom was also turned off which might have helped to warm up the place. There was a single bed in the studio which had a mattress that resembled a lumpy bean bag and upon further inspection there was a massive trench down the middle of it as if it had been run over by a tractor. Absolutelly awful and so uncomfortable. There was no water left for guests so I had to immediately go to the supermarket to get something to drink. I bought some supplies thinking I could make myself something in the studio but then found there was no cutlery at all. Not even a spoon to make a cup of tea or a knife or fork - nothing. There were cooking pots but no cutlery of any description except for a block of carving knives!!! I contacted the property on Saturday and asked them how to turn on the radiator and also complained about the single bed but they sent me an out of office message. On Sunday morning they got back to me offering to send someone over but I didn't want to stay there anymore as it was so uncomfortable and I was suffering from a chest infection so it wasn't conducive to my health. I told them I wanted to leave and asked them to refund the 2nd night which they did - so I am grateful for that but that was the only redeeming feature of the whole stay. I actually should have requested a ful refund.

- Nathaniel (7/5): Nice flat, great location, no double glazing and poor heating - room was cold and damp - Location was great, easy key collection - have stayed at this property a number of times - all in different flats. This time I stayed in Flat 5. A small double studio. There is no double glazing a a small radiator beneath a very large wooden sash window. Apart from the small radiator and a heated towel rail the flat has not other way of being heated and the room was freezing cold, with a build up of condensation and damp every morning.

- Angelica (9/5): Perfecta localización - Muy cómodo, con muchos detalles como café, té y todo lo necesario para la ducha. Localización muy buena, muchos sitios que visitar sin necesidad de metro. Única pega uno de los dormitorios tenía una cortina algo corta y la claridad un poco molesta, pero según a lo que se esté acostumbrado.

- Orla (7/5): - Requested early check-in which was confirmed. I had stayed at this property before as a solo traveler staying on a lower floor at rear. This room was top floor of 5 story building with no visible emergency access other than main stairwell which was a concern for me.
- Aviu (7/5): - Es muy espacioso, la ubicación es muy buena y la terraza es un espacio inesperado y bonito. La cama, creo que es vieja. Se sentian los resortes, fue incómodo acostumbrarse a dormir allí. En cuanto a limpieza, los techos del baño se ven con moho, los pasillos del ingreso estaban sucios.
- gustavo (7/5): Overall the place was good but if you can replace the mattress it would make the review much bettet - The location was close to many train stations and the neighborhood was safe and nice to walk around. The bed had a spring or a bar inside the mattress that poked out and made it extremely uncomfortable for sleeping. Also some of the outlets to charge our phones did not work correctly

- Nathaniel (5/5): Comfortable, would stay at location again - but just not this flat. - Location was great - I have stayed here multiple times - each in a different flat. This time I was in flat 10. It’s great location for tube and for work. It’s the smallest flat I have stayed in so far. Staying Monday - Friday for work I was disappointed that the wardrobe offers no hanging facilities for work shirts, and the heated towel rail in the bathroom didn’t work meaning by the end of the week towels were consistently damp.
- Nathaniel (8/5): Spacious apartment - comfortable and great location - Good size flat - comfortable for a weeks stay with an area to sit and relax on a sofa. Be aware that if staying for more than a few days the top apartments mean 6 flights of stairs with luggage

- martin (3/5): very poor beds, mattresses = very poor sleep - location. generally well maintained. nice living room space (although the sofa bed had been made up which we didn't need and took up alot of space). plenty of cupboard space. well provisioned kitchen. beds were 0/10. the mattresses were old and had Springs digging in our back. I swapped to the second room and the mattress had a hole in it. worse than student accommodation. if I cant sleep it is a dreadful experience. mold in the bathroom. v. bad for health. can't believe we're the first to report this?
- Denise (7/5): Ok, served the purpose. - Good location and handy for Kings Cross. We were unaware when we booked of the six flights of stairs we had to negotiate to get to our studio apartment. Very overpriced for what it was but obviously London is expensive.
