Guest Reviews
- Annabella (10/5): - Nice and clean
- Joseph (8/5): - Decent in price, clean, safe, basic modern student dorm accommodation.
- Emmee (2/5): - The place was filthy. They give you one thin towel. I asked for a fan twice and both broken. For $200, this is absolutely unacceptable. I cannot remember the last time I had such an awful experience. $200 you think you could at least offer a shower towel. You cannot charge prices like that for experiences like that. AWFUL!
- Hannah (8/5): Good for the price - Good standard for price, room was a bit dusty but otherwise clean. Great location
- Mack (8/5): - Would definitely be in my top two as far as places to stay.
- Cara Jayne (8/5): - Close to Phoenix Park, comfortable rooms, can be quite warm so remember to ask for a fan at reception
- Dawn (8/5): - The room is ok, cleanliness could be better in communal areas.
There is a kitchen in each apartment as advertised but your not allowed to use it, an email was sent out to tell people not to use the kitchens as they don’t advertise them although they do.
- Jessica (10/5): - This property was excellent to stay at. The rooms were clean with plenty of space to sit your stuff down on and even unpack if you were there for a few days. The bed was comfy, but the pillows were very flat, so this could be improved on. The area felt extremely safe and even had multiple scans to go from building to building. It was within a 5 minute walk to two of the hop on and hop off bus tours pickup and closely located to pubs and a small convenience store to get food and drinks. It was also a 8 minute walk from the Dublin Express that gets you to and from the airport.
- Alberto (8/5): - Rooms were big and clean. Staff was helpful and property was safe. Good amities but no television in room.
- V278AQtomm (2/5): Host lied about the size of room and will scam visitors - Do not stay here, this host blatantly lied about the size of the accommodation. My wife and I took at trip to Dublin and it was only the two of us. We found a place that seemed nice and slept two. When we got there we were shocked that the place only had 1 single bed. We contacted the host to help and they said the dimensions of the bed were big enough to be a 2 person bed but that was not realistic. We had to leave the unit and find a hotel to stay at instead.
In my opinion, this host lied about the size of the bed in order to get more couples to book their rental, then they refuse to refund when they get caught lying. Leaving travelers like us stuck in a city with no where to stay. This host is untrustworthy, and will protect themselves in the fine print. Do not stay with them and save your money, otherwise they will fine ways to ruin your travel experience like they did for us.
- 377kimt (6/5): Think basic student digs… - This is student accommodation which is repurposed during the holidays so what you get is basic. I was on my own so the bed size was ok but would have been an issue had there been two of us. The room is tiny. The facilities like hot water for tea are in the main entrance so I didn’t explore that. There was nothing wrong with the rooms… they just are small and basic so if you’re ok with that, these rooms might save you done money on a Dublin trip. This was the only room I could get over the “Taylor swift” weekend which made €222 for 2 night seem cheap. On any other weekend I think that would be pricey for what you get.
If you drive - on street parking is available. See photo for details.
- K M (8/5): Great base for exploring Dublin - This is great for an affordable few nights in Dublin.
The accommodation is a block of student flats which are rented out when students aren't there; as such it's very well kept and secure. It's impossible to get into any part of the complex without a keycard, which is a really nice reassuring touch. The bedrooms and communal areas are all clean and well maintained, and everyone was friendly.
Location wise you are a little out of the city centre here, but the area is quiet and it's very easy to get around by bus, tram or train - the nearest bus & tram stop is a 5-10 minute walk and the train station is only a few minutes further. There are local pubs, cafes and restaurants a street or two away and everything else is easily accessible via public transport.
It's important to know that this will be a no-frills experience - the rooms are small with no TV or kettle; there's no option for breakfast; and rather than staff, the people on the reception desk are largely students. They were all lovely but obviously inexperienced. There are no 'extras' - we asked for extra pillows and towels on day one and didn't get any by the time we left. Also information is hard to come by - we were given no guidance on check-out time or any procedures at any point. When we stayed the property had recently been taken over by a new management company, which could explain a little of the disjointedness.
I would definitely stay here again, overall it was positive - and now I know what to expect!
- Jeff (4/5): - I can not recommend this property. The room was extremely warm at all times and the toilet seat and sink stopper were both broken. I informed reception, but they did nothing to solve the issues.
- Britt marie (6/5): - Vi bodde där 4 nätter rent o snyggt men inga bekvämligheter. Inga xtra kuddar.
- Jeff (4/5): - I would not recommend this property to anyone. The room was very hot at all times (25C ), the toilet seat and the sink stopper were both broken.
- Ayse (2/5): - Reception was terribly unfriendly,would not call even a taxi.not friendly but Rude.not even a glass I. The room
- Helen (8/5): - The location was great and the staff very friendly. The room was tiny and very hot unable to control temperature. There was a communal kitchen with complimentary tea and coffee but no cups or spoons or coffee but the station is nearby with lovely cafes. It is student accommodation and was handy for us for a few days.
- Jean christophe (6/5): - Dommage que la literie ne soit pas au rendez-vous.
- roberto armando (4/5): - Too much noise during nigths
- Alison (6/5): - Tiny uncomfortable bed! Only 1 pillow each. I have arthritis I was in agony. Begged! For another pillow, toilet roll and towels. Had to ask! No cups at a very poor tea/coffee station. Dirty bins. Staff didn’t seem interested at all, sat with headphones on infront of laptop. Room was far too hot. Couldn’t turn it down. Blind broken , window leaked. Water all over floor ect. So sadly not many positives. Security was great. Guy was very helpful and always checking who was coming in and out. It’s a very Basic accommodation, yet for what we paid! Sadly very expensive for what we god. Not ideal for a couple as bed is too small and against a wall! So anyone with mobility problems like myself will be a problem.
- Chad (2/5): Dreadful stay - rude staff, poor facilities - Awful stay from start to finish. Rude staff, dirty rooms, facilities that don’t work correctly, unsafe windows, incorrect check out information given, insisting that I received an online check in form and being rude when I said I had not received one. The room was awfully hot with no way to control the temperature. No fans available so we just had to be very uncomfortable in the room. This place is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I would never go back. They won’t listen to concerns, they just give you an email address that nobody ever replies to. The support reviewed from hotels.com was also awful, they asked “what do you want us to do about it” basically abstaining from taking any responsibility for a hotel listed on their platform
- Molly (8/5): Perfect - It was really easy to find band right beside a luas pick up also check in was super handy and they had lists to do in the hotel it’s self the room was perfect for what we needed and what we payed for the only thing was there wasn’t enough towels and there was no toilet paper in the room but other than that I can’t fault the hotel
- Gavin (6/5): - Rooms were too hot (because they had no AC) and they ran out of fans to pass out.
- Jonas (10/5): Nice, cosy, comfortable room - Great room in a nice place within walking distance to parks and city centre.
- beverly (8/5): - I thought the key entry was a bit much, Also post said shared kitchen! No access to fridge or stove. No fridge, microwave or kettle, I bought some food items, it went to waste!
- Eloisa (8/5): - We liked that we had the train station very close and also walking you can quickly reach different places, very central.
The bed was very comfortable and the truth is that we were very comfortable. Recommendable!
- Brien (8/5): - It was great. Very secure. Super convenient to Heuston Station, the Luas, and Phoenix Park, but in a pretty quiet neighborhood. Very secure as well.
- Meagan (6/5): - Pros: staff, cleanliness, and lounge space.
Cons: uncomfortable bed, extremely hot rooms, and extremely noisy and hard to sleep at night.
- Jablue71 (2/5): Appalling!! - MISSOLD! Sold as a standard double! The bed was a 4ft small double with access to only one side!
Like staying in a shed!!
No hot water
No water pressure
Smelly towels
To be honest avoid!! They still charged us for our stay even though we could not shower and my husband had to sleep on the floor!!
