There is a laundry and grocery store right next door. The grocery store bakery was the cheapest place for pastries. House keeping did a great job and the front desk staff spoke excellent English.

- Oliver (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spotless, well-equipped and modern, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The location is a little further away from the centre as you may look for, but it was only a 25 minute walk to Sagrada Família, and with convenient transport links nearby, you can easily navigate to the centre. Located right next door to a supermarket and on top of pharmacy was ideal for grabbing holiday essentials, and there were so many really good restaurants nearby. Only a 15 minute walk to the nearby Westfield shopping centre was great to allow us to pass some time and shop in mainstream units such as Zara and Uniqlo, as well as many other more local retail stores. We ate breakfast at the property only once, and it was fine. A good selection including some gluten free options which is a bonus. There is room service available (at an inflated price), but no bar/restaurant to sit at for an evening meal - which was okay for us as we wanted to explore local cuisines. There is a well stocked minibar in the room, where prices are slightly higher than in the local supermarket but you pay for the convenience of it in the room. The rooftop pool was an added bonus - a lovely touch after a long day of walking in the Barcelona heat. We cannot fault the staff and the entire process that was made as easy and efficient as possible. Would re-visit this hotel in a heartbeat because the whole experience was lovely.

- Mi Yen (10/5): - Clean and modern hotel with spacious room. It's located in El Clot, so not super close to all the tourist sites but transit is very close by. We took the metro to La Ramblas, the beach and to the airport. We also walked to Sagrada Familia (25 mins). Local dining options are cheaper in the area also. Stafd are friendly and lobby area is a nice place to relax, fill your water bottle and enjoy some complimentary candies.

The breakfast was delicious, although it wasn't affordable. The room was clean, but the hotel windows were dusty. We didn’t visit the pool area during our stay.

The hotel is clean and located in a quiet, residential neighbourhood, just a short walk from the metro, which made getting around the city convenient. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the air conditioning was excellent which was perfect for the summer heat. The rooftop pool is small but a good place to cool down and sit in the sun. The staff were helpful and polite throughout our visit. The only downside was the breakfast which felt a bit underwhelming for the price, and we expected a bit more variety or quality. Because of this we’ve taken a star off. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. A solid choice for a short city break.

Was worried when I read reviews about being noisy as thin walls but we didn’t notice this at all. Rooftop pool great and an amazing place to relax after a busy day sightseeing. Breakfast was superb. Fab selection of cold meats, cheese, fruits, yogurt, pastries and breads. Excellent hot food choices too - tomatoes, eggs, bacon, sausages, beans and more… Would definitely recommend - a fab find a short stroll from metro and amazing local restaurants all on your doorstep.

- Siying (6/5): Security is a concern for this hotel - This 4 stars hotel doesn’t have any security guards. I witnessed a family’s backpack got stolen in the lobby by someone came in from the street. It all happened so quickly that I wished I could’ve helped that family, but the hotel didn’t even do anything for them. (Not sure if it’s a usual thing or they were low key blaming it’s this family’s own fault. Regardless, you wouldn’t expect that service or security level for a 4-star hotel) As well, there is no security check going up to each floor. The elevator needs to have the key card to access floors, however stair case doesn’t need one, anyone could just walk in the lobby and going to any floors, mind you, I was on 6th floor, and my room face directly to the staircase, the door was opened entire time I was there.

- robynr915 (8/5): A Pleasant Stay - Pros: Easy check in; Polite staff, Norman, made the whole process easy and even offered us a glass of Cava. Room were clean and spacious especially the bathroom (could comfortably accommodate 2 people in the shower) Candy on tap in the foyer (for those with a sweet tooth). Easy to navigate from the hotel with Clot and Navas metro station close by that takes you to central Barcelona such as Catalunya in less than 15 minutes. Next door you have the local supermarket that is reasonably priced and local shops to eat including a bazaar to buy bits and bobs including souvenirs. In addition you have the Westfield mall which is 15 minutes walk away with plenty of eateries and shops for a spot of retail therapy. Cons: This hotel is not close to BCN airport, it’s an hour away by transportation or 45 minutes by car. It’s not centrally located, to the city centre. There are no bottles of water in the room, the hotel offers a water dispenser to top up in the foyer, which can be frustrating when one needs a drink of water during the night or to up the kettle. There are no toiletries only what is provided by the hotel. If you require conditioner, a shower cap forget it, nothing extra is provided. The walls are very thin to the point you can hear the next room, full conversation clearly. If your room is on the same side as the entrance of the hotel, noise from the street can be very disturbing. Overall a pleasant stay. If you want to stay away from the hustle of central Barcelona I would recommend.

- Kwun Lun (8/5): Good Place to Stay in Barcelona - A relatively new hotel. All equipment is new and in good condition. But one point should aware is that we were arranged a room on 1st floor. We opened the window for some fresh air. But someone was smoking outside and the smell came through our entire room. We can only keep the window shut for whole night. To be more picky is the kettle is a bit small and cannot boil too much water. Anyway, it is a great place to stay in Barcelona. Transports are convenient and close to city centre.

- Guide22673803889 (10/5): 10/10 would recommend - Booked this hotel at a great price in summer. Was unsure because it's new but the pictures looked good. It outdid our expectations. The lobby was really nice and welcoming. There's free sweets and somewhere to fill your water bottle up - very useful in peak hot weather. We were offered a free glass of Cava upon check in. Booked a double room but got two twin beds and they moved us to a different room no hassle, it was basically an upgrade as we'd booked interior view and ended up with a nicer outside view. The room was lovely, modern, a good size and lovely bathroom. The roof with a pool and decking is great. The only criticism is that the walls seemed to be very thin. One night I could hear someone walking around loudly with heels in the room above and most mornings I was woken up with a door slam that sounded like someone was entering our room but it was next door. Overall, staff were very friendly, hotel is located right outside a bus stop and not far walk from the metro and I enjoyed my stay. Would 100% stay again.

I didn’t want to leave any criticism, but the only tiny thing I would suggest the hotel do is get new beds. The beds have for sure been slept on. So sleep was a little rough.

The room size was good but did not have a table (although a low-level shelf was provided) for using lap-top. The pillars were abit narrow but this appears to be the standard provision in the region. Overall, it was a hassle-free stay; would definitely return.

This hotel has everything we needed to make this holiday memorable. We will m definitely be returning soon.

We didn't go to the restaurant. The room and bathroom were very clean, the beds were comfortable. The staff were very helpful. The kids loved the candy bar! Would recommend!
