- Fern (10/5): - Die Lage des Hotels war super, innerhalb 15 Minuten zu Fuss waren der Topkapi Palast, die Haggia Sofia und die blaue Moschee, die Zisterne, der Gewürz Bazar, der grosse Bazar und die Anlegestelle der Schiffe erreichbar. Ein grosser Dank an die Leitung des Hotels und und an das Personal für ihre Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft. Das Hotel war sehr gepflegt. Das Hotelrestaurant hat eine wunderschöne Aussicht über die Stadt und den Bosporus. Das Frühstücksbuffet war vielfältig und ausgezeichnet. Auch das Wellnessbereich war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Restaurants, Geschäfte und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel waren auch ganz nah. Unbedingt empfehlenswert !

Our shower leaked from under the glass pane. Small blankets and uncomfortable beds. Only good thing was the breakfast and rooftop view.

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant staff provided excellent service. I would definitely stay there the next time I visit Istanbul.

Staff was professional, extremely friendly and the service was top notch. Great rooftop view of the Bosphorus Stait. I highly recommend Demiray Hotel.

Doveva esserci una SPA ma non ci è stata mostrata la sauna (ma sui trattamenti a pagamento viene contemplata). La cosa peggiore è la pulizia che lascia davvero a desiderare. Il personale è comunque gentile.

- Svetlana (10/5): - We stayed at Demiray Hotel for 4 nights with family and really enjoyed it. The breakfast had great variety and the restaurant view was beautiful. Staff were very friendly and polite throughout our stay. We used the spa for a massage and sauna, which was relaxing, and also visited the swimming pool a couple of times. The location is ideal for Sultanahmet and Eminönü, though after the Grand Bazaar closes it’s a slightly longer walk back. Overall, a great and comfortable stay! Would definitely recommend😊 and would be nice to go back if we have a chance 😊

- Heath (8/5): - I wouldn't call this a 5* hotel it's far from it (I have stay in 5* in UK and France this doesn't even compare) however I would say they have very friendly and attentive staff on site. The decor in some areas was a bit rough around the edges when you took a closer look. The breakfast was excellent and plenty options on the huge continental buffet. Just what we needed for busy site seeing. We did have issues with our room. We had an economy double which had no external facing windows. The room was often hot and stuffy and this was in March. The AC in the room kept turning off and blowing warm air back into the room which made for a couple unbearable nights even when we turned it off the room just seem to get hot. We reported this on numerous occasions and the AC was turned back on but it kept getting turned off. If we had a window, we could have opened this for fresh air. The SPA is a nice addition. We used on a couple occasions do be warned that for some reason they insist on caps to use the pool. Luckily we read previous reviews and picked some up before we arrived. The location is ok for the old town and great location for the markets and shops but we found limited options nearby for food in the evenings, we did try the hotel restaurant but found the food to be poor vs the price. I have given them 4-star review because this is a good 4 star hotel in my opinion, although we had issues they were responsive and helpful. I would avoid the economy rooms if possible
- RD (6/5): - This is a nice 4-star hotel, but definitely not a 5-star like how it is rated. They said the Turkish government gave them 5 stars so clearly Turkish standards are much lower. Expedia needs to be transparent about who rates the properties for stars. The staff were friendly. The place was clean. Bathrooms seem to be newly renovated. Breakfast was ok but definitely not 5-star. There was an abandoned building missing windows that was our view from our room.

- Nicole (8/5): - Sehr schönes zentral gelegenes Hotel. Zimmer (Dreibettzimmer) sehr hell durch große Fenster, abends könnte es mehr Licht haben. Kleine Wasserflaschen, Kaffee und Tee auf dem Zimmer kostenlos, werden täglich aufgefüllt. Freundliches Personal, kostenpflichtiger Shuttle vom Flughafen hat gut geklappt. Etwas lange Wartezeit, jedoch nicht Verschulden vom Hotel. Frühstück haben wir vor Ort nach Bedarf dazu gebucht. Preis für mich angemessen, nicht jedoch für das Kind, hier wird der volle Preis verlangt. Bei Buchung über Expedia wäre das Frühstück etwas günstiger gewesen, wir schsuen es uns jedoch gerne zuerst vor Ort an. Kaffee aus Vollautomat schmeckt leider wässrig. Frühstück wird im Restaurant im 5. Stock eingenommen. Super Ausblick. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind per Fuß zu erreichen. Das Viertel um das Hotel ist etwas laut und nicht ganz sauber, wofür das Hotel nichts kann. Lage dafür super für Istanbulerkundung zu Fuß.

- Tarik (10/5): - Great boutique hotel off the beaten path. Renovated, with an excellent spa and solid restaurant/breakfast. Location isnt great but short walk to all Sultan Ahmet has to offer. Even upgraded rooms are pretty tight.

- David (10/5): - The location is in the 'garment district' which really means 'women's underwear district'. The shops in the immediate proximity of the hotel are only open during the day and not anything you'd shop at. But it's only 2 blocks from the Grand Bazaar and Spice Market and a few blocks from Sultanahmet so it's a great place to base your day activities and still let you return to get some rest or drop off your purchases. The breakfast is possibly the best I've ever experienced. They have American, European and truly Turkish breakfast options. (American = eggs and sausage and pastries, European = cold cuts and yogurt and pastry, Turkish = olives, vegetables, fruit, cheese and bread). It's an amazing experience and the restaurant has a panoramic view of the north shore of the golden horn and with views of Suleymaniye mosque and Hagia Sophia. Quite a way to start the day! Rooms are clean and well appointed. Staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay here again without hesitation.
- Tomasu (6/5): OK stay. - Positives - Room is clean and they have a really good Turkish breakfast. Nice people work there. The area is quiet at night. Good if you are visiting the Sultanahnet area. But the downside is the location - once the market closes its practically a ghost town. There is a door to the bathroom but there is no door to close the shower. A fault in design perhaps? Also, I did not like the fact that hotel used my passport number as the WiFi code - massive breach of privacy, and contra GDPR if in Europe. The hotel is rated as a 4 star but I would say it's more of a good 3 star hotel.

- janice (10/5): - The staff was so great. Showed us clearly which streets to turn on and to take a short cut to bazaar. Also, when there was a traffic jam. A staff member walked us down to the Main Street with our luggage so we didn’t have to wait an additional twenty minutes for a taxi. Went beyond for us.
- Kristin (10/5): Godt hotel - Fint hotel der ligger centralt tæt på Hagia Sophia og med fantastisk udsigt over Bosporus strædet. God tyrkisk bad/hammam- hvor vi alle blev masseret efter en lang dag.

- Ghislain (10/5): Nice Hotel with great view near key sites. - Our stay was very nice, the terrace at the top ehas beautiful views, rooms were clean and reception was very good. THey also kept our luggage on the arrival day and departure day.
- Christian (10/5): - Nice hotel a short walk from the Topkapi Palace area. Sorted airport transfer both ways. Nice spa area with sauna. Breakfast was very comprehensive.
- Jenny (10/5): - The rooftop at Demiray has the most sensational view! I sat up there and watched the sunset every evening. The staff were lovely and friendly. The balcony was more a window - not one you could walk out on.
- Ceylan (8/5): Zeer tevreden - Zeer goed ontvangen. Vriendelijk personeel. Nette kamers met propere badkamers. Wij hadden een familiekamer met een deur tussen de kinderkamer. Hoofdkamer en kinderkamer hadden beide een aparte douche. Het ontbijtbuffet was uitgebreid en lekker. Het panoramische uitzicht was prachtig en zeker een aanrader overdag en 's nachts. Het hotel is goed gelegen, niet ver van Sirkeci metrostation.
- John (10/5): - Great new hotel - room was nice and quiet, bed was very comfortable, and air con worked perfectly. Staff were lovely and its conveniently located such that it is walking distance to most of the key sites in the town in that area. Would stay there again.
- Erifili (10/5): Great location and service! - Great stay! My husband and I really enjoyed all amenities of hotel. Great location , walking distance to Hagia Sophia, blue Mosque…Mert, front desk , was very helpful answering the questions . He went far and beyond to accommodate our requests . Definitely I will reconsider this hotel.
- Kyung (4/5): It’s overrated. - It’s overrated and overpriced. Two stars might the best they can get. Free breakfast is not free since almost everything’s extra charge. Since the location is inconvenient no taxi is willing to pick you up there.

- Nadine Dr. (6/5): - Das Personal an der Rezeption war überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Lage des Hotels sehr versteckt, in keiner schönen Gegend mit vielen Bauruinen und für Autos schwer zugänglich. Das Restaurant hat einen wunderschönen Blick auf den Bosphorus, ist aber ansonsten geschmacklos gestaltet und die Qualität des Essens garnicht ansprechend. Das Schwimmbad ist recht schön, es riecht jedoch leider unangenehm nach Abwässern.

- Hamza (10/5): - Top locatie, vriendelijk personeel, zwembad mooi en schoon, restaurant heeft heel lekker eten, je kan letterlijk heel Istanbul zien vanaf terras. Wat een tophotel. Had het oprecht naar mn zin, een van de beste hotels waar ik tot nu toe heb verbleven, zeker weten het geld waard.
