Guest Reviews
- jon (2/5): - No no
- Randall (2/5): - Horrible conditions. Unsafe. Filthy.
- The (2/5): - Room wasn't available so the property put us in one of their Days Inn rooms. Room didn't have pillows, sheet had a huge yellow stain, shower curtains had boogers dried on them, and there was a half drank beer can near the sink. The room had an odd smell and the door wouldn't lock properly. Very unhappy with my stay.
- Andrea (2/5): - This property was horrible when we got there I asked for a room on the bottom floor because I had back surgery recently and she would not do it said she didn't have available room on bottom floor but there were several rooms available on the bottom floor so she put me on the second floor once I got to the second floor the key did not work so we went down again got another key it did not work so then the maintenance man came and moved us to the third floor once we got in the room it was dirty there were no refrigerator or microwave it look like the bathroom still had throw up on the door where someone had gotten sick there were body hairs all in the bathtub on top of there were people in and out all night long hanging out on the balconies hollering cussing a lot of drug traffic it seemed and as we were leaving this morning the maintenance man was standing by the front door hollering and trying to run off a homeless person from the building it was probably the most unpleasant day we have ever had I did not feel safe there with my children we will never visit this place again and to be honest I am so surprised they are even on your website
- Melodie (4/5): - The whole experience was bad, a/c did not work right bath tub had no plug ,faucet in bath tub was pretruding out of the wall. No option to get handi cap room,no microwave, refrigerater or coffee pot.
- Alexandria (2/5): - It was very dirty and the breakfast was discusting and not sanitary no drinks or coffee was offered
- Brandi (6/5): - The desk clerk was very nice but the rooms are awful.
- Kurk (4/5): Low value and pride in property - It was quite an old property and it showed. It took us looking at 4 rooms before we found one without black mold or reeking of Clorox. There were several people drinking and partying with loud music in the parking lot of the property the first night. The beds were comfortable however. The second night there were people shouting in the passageways. It was clear no one cared about the guests, just the money. The breakfast was abismal. The coffee was undrinkable. Not the best value for the money in the area. Had I not prepaid, we would definitely have made other arrangements.
- Tiffany (2/5): - Arrived to this dump and got to the room the room was trashed the electrical had been snatched out of the walls and ceiling no mpower at all called rhe front desk the lady hung up on me and then blocked my number then my boyfriend called she then also blocked his number so then we went to the front desk told her the situation she didnt want to hear anything either of us had to say so we then asked for a refund she ignored us even asking about our money back then she gives us another room key it was in better shape but the tv power cord was missing their wasnt any towels wash rags or cups in the room at all and no coffee pot so we called the front desk a second time from the second room to see if they had one extra at the desk she then tells us shell put us in a 3rd room and 1me nor my boyfriend was going to a 3rd room so after she came beating on our door at 3:45am to see if we wanted another room i then opened the door and told her iwas done playing musical rooms with her
- vicki (2/5): - At check in, the king room i had reserved for my self, husband and 4 yr old was "not avaliable" offered double queen so we took it because we were exhausted. Room had decent furnishings. However the only good thing about the room was that the beds were clean and comfortable. There were no bath towels, wash cloths, hand towels in room. There were spots of something splattered all over the tub, toilet and surrounding walls in the bathroom. A pair of dirty socks were in the corner of the sink area, somebody's dinner still in the fridge and the screws were literally about to fall out of the door latch. The property was pretty dirty. Cigarette butts allover the ground and walk ways. There were no fire extinguishers hoses or axes in any of the boxes. The ice machine was missing its lid and the ice was FULL of dirt and bugs. Will definitely NOT be staying there again.
- Polo (2/5): - They changed me to four rooms, and the four rooms were like crackheads were living in it serious people I don’t I don’t recommend this place to my worst enemy then they didn’t want to give me my refund. I do not recommend I do not recommend.
- Jonathan (10/5): - The property is a bit worn, but well taken care of, so it's just what comes with the nice low price. But the staff is amazing, considerate, helpful, and pleasant to be around.
- CARLOS (8/5): - Good place with reasonable price
- Kameshia (2/5): - The heater didn’t work in the room and the weather was between 30-50 degrees. The carpet was wet from previous reason . Only one big towel and it was used . It was holes in the wall and not good wiring in the room.
- Tara (8/5): - Wake up was to early
- Ron (2/5): - Very disappointing ended up not staying there after looking things over on the property.
- Rebecca (2/5): - When I showed pictures of the property a relative said it looked like a crime scene. draps down, lamps messed, huge stains, no TVremote no smoke detector, one towel and a bar of soap, Looks like a room that no one was planning to have guests in. Bed good, clean sheets, hot water. Doesn't look at all like the pictures. I came in late but decided the move the next morning. They would only refund 3 nights, not the four (haven't seen the refund yet) despite the fact they said they were full. Only with Expedia's help did I get that. I have never had to move from a hotel before. Cheap equals scary.
- JUAN (4/5): - I understand it is under renovation ... but amazing that a chain like Wyndham would sell these rooms ... wait until you finish restorations.
- Chris T (2/5): - Water did not work in first room. Second room smelled bad and could not watch tv due to the remote not working.
- Sidney (2/5): - Rooms where dirty, roaches and spiders. The rooms where partially completed. The smoke detector was removed. There was still Sheetrock mud on the walls. The light was full of dead bugs. I knew we were in trouble when the lady at the front desk asked someone else if the room was clean. Slept with the lights on so the roaches would at least stay hidden. I have stayed in hotels in 3rd world countries cleaner than this one. They should have paid us to stay there, instead of us paying.
- Dean (2/5): - Busted door, tv and light not working, mising electrical socket cover,
- renee (4/5): - Smelled like mold. Air-conditioner leak water inside the room carpet wet
- Gloria (2/5): - This was the single most disgusting, disturbing, and awful condition I have ever seen a hotel room in. There was trash in the cabinets, the sheets had stains, multiple holes in the walls as well as graffiti, the door barely locked, and the suffocating smell of cigarettes made it impossible for me to stay longer than 60 seconds. When I went to the front desk to discuss the condition of the room, the worker at the desk looked at me as if I were ridiculous. I immediately repacked my car and left. It was an overall awful experience, and I would never recommend any stay here at all.
- Carrie (2/5): - Room was not as advertised. Didn’t even have a mini fridge or microwave. The room smelled, spots on the carpet. Wasn’t even a blanket on the bed just two sheets.
- Michelle (6/5): - Plumbing needed some work. There was no shower head. Although the water pressure and water temp was great. It was an economical stay but a little rough. I would stay again but I’ll bring some soap next time.
- Phelicia (2/5): - We arrived at the hotel and it looked worn, but that we could handle. As we drove around to our room, there was a man beating a woman and pulled a gun on here. We got to our room and there were some sketchy dealings happening in the room below us. Our actual room smelled like urine and the bedding was stained. We checked out immediately. 10/10 do NOT recommend. The only positive was the staff was amazingly nice and provided us a refund.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Black mold - Black mold and terrible service!
- Meredith (2/5): - Extremely dirty room. Horrible smell. Only sheets on the bed, no comforter/bedspread. Sheets were stained as was the sides of the mattress. One lamp in the room was missing lamp shade.
- Timothy James (2/5): Worst stay ever - Room was nasty like it never has been cleaned. Bed had bugs. Couldn’t walk on ground without getting feet dirty. It was so bad we managed to take a shower and just sleep in truck. Something needs to be done about this as this is unacceptable.
- John (2/5): Worst travel lodge in America - The travel lodge in Tillmans corner Alabama is horrible. The room smells like mold. The towels were brown, not white. They did not have a complementary breakfast like they said they would and I stayed in the hotel because I had some friends come in town told me I couldn’t stay there anymore because I had friends over
- Nathan (2/5): - Got a room and the ac was busted and didn’t work and had bugs, floor was peeled up. Staff gave us another room and told us to make sure we shut the door good because homeless people tend to try to break into rooms!!
- Lillie (4/5): - Bikes and shopping carts in breezeway. Homeless people sleeping across the way on the grass. Lots of movement in the area at night...
- Shannon (4/5): - It took 3 different card keys before finding a room that would open. Innkeeper said they did not know the codes to change the batteries on the other 2 rooms I was given. The room had little roaches in the bathroom. Stains on the bedding. Racks for towels & toilet tissue were falling out of the walls. There was lots of hair and bugs and leaves in the cloudy pool water. Glass and litter paper wrappers on stairs and sidewalks. A/C worked great! And there was furniture in the room. All the lights worked. Free WiFi.
- Sandra (2/5): Don’t stay here! Pictures to prove my review. - No way this hotel is up to Wyndham standards . Unless they have changed drastically. Checked Five rooms and all were disgusting ! The front desk clerk was extremely rude. We were denied a refund and the clerk told us to go somewhere else!! Bloody carpets, cat urine , no ac in 2 rooms, broken pictures, graffiti headboards, molded carpet and walls, wet carpets, footprints on bed.
- Jackson (2/5): - STAY AWAY!
Only decent thing here was the staff.
Everything else was horrible!
Just so you have an idea of what you dealing with they took the lights off the bathroom mirrors and let it that way..
I have no words to the shower... Just stay away!
- Aaron (2/5): Worst motel room EVER! - This was by far the worst place I've ever stayed in. Toilet was broke. Shades were broke. Tile in bathroom was coming up. Saw roaches. Only 3 lights in whole place. Garbage just laying out in the parking lot. Do not ever stay here or recommend it to anyone you like.
- chris (2/5): - nothing everything missing or broke
- Jeffery (8/5): Dirty hotel but quite and comfortable bed. - Bed was comfortable. Room had stained pillows. Smoke detector was missing and the wires were hanging out of the ceiling. The carpet was dirty. Toilet take lid was not for the toilet so it didn't fit. Door latch was broken and missing so we had to put a chair in front of the door for security. Room was quite and the TV was cheap and blurry.
- Laurie (8/5): Running away - The air didn't work and after hour and half they changed our room. This is after going down twice. The remote was missing and no towels. We were on 3rd floor and elevator was not working.
- Anthony (2/5): - Maybe there was cleaner rooms there but mine wasn’t I should of slept in my truck instead
- Arkesha (2/5): - This was by far the worst long stay I have ever had I did not get any cleaning service the whole time when I got tissue towels and bedding I had to get it on my own I will never stay here again 0/10 don’t recommend
- Keela (2/5): - No microwave nor fridge in room
- Ari3lle (2/5): - Pet friendly policy was a lie and i can't get a refund
- Cierra (2/5): - The Travelodge side of the hotel is awful and needs renovations. Dirty as hell.
- ALFREDO (2/5): Not good - Not good in the shower they don’t have handle,tv not working, air conditioning wasn’t working properly carpet was not clean and the people in the front desk was liar they never showed up to fix tings
- Darius (4/5): - Room had no refrigerator nor towels
- Jeremy (2/5): - Horrific place can’t believe I wasted my time and money, it was literally embarrassing.
- Cassandra (2/5): Do not stay here - The hotel rooms are dirty. Towels got stains on them. Sheets have stains. Only one pillow. Tv has static on all channels. No fridge, microwave or nun. Shower curtain dirty. Furniture broken in room. Walks dirty
- Marquitta (2/5): Horrible - They didn’t clean the room roaches in bathroom floor nasty sheets nasty didn’t clan after I requested them to had a smoke free room but burnt holds was in sheets an comforter get down there 7:45 all breakfast was gone an it didn’t end til 9 an they didn’t refill it back up it was horrible never again will I stay are recommend anyone wouldn’t give me any towel’s to be paying 89.00 a day no ma’am the pictures are a lie they got on website
- Ever (2/5): - They need to burn this place and build something decent. The smell of the place caused allergies to my son who suffers from asthma. We left after 15 minutes of being inside the room. Everything is old and deteriorated. The bed was not flat, there was a curve in the middle, you couldn't sleep comfortably. And its owned by Windham, disgusting.
- Sheng (2/5): - This hotel is terrible in my life
- Annette (2/5): Worst place ever - This was by far the worst hotel stay ever. It’s needs to be closed down. It wasn’t safe. It’s was dirty. The bed broke, the latch on the door was gone, the bathroom light fixture was hanging off, the sink had food and fur coming out the open drain. The cleaning crew needed to be fired cause it was cigarettes and bottles and wrappers under the bed and nightstand. This hotel should have no guest and I got stuck there. That was 2 rooms were horrible. Never again!!!!
- Mary (2/5): Stroll past this hotel by!!!!!! - My stay was horrible my room was Very Nasty and Smelly I have Never stayed at a hotel that didn’t come with a blanket on the bed i was called front desk and I was told that they didn’t have enough blankets for all the rooms and she would have to go and find me one from another room I had to go to the dollar general to purchase my tissue and cleaning supplies the room was horrible instead of charging people to stay they should be paying people (us) to stay
- Sheila (8/5): - If the hotel offers breakfast to there quests it should be a variety instead of just cereal. Also the juice machine should work so u can have orange juice or apple juice with breakfast
- OTM (2/5): - The air conditioning doesn’t work. There are roaches in the rooms. The beds were dirty. The tub water was dirty. Everything about the experience was awful. I have never stayed somewhere this bad
- Jenny (4/5): - The plus, this location is right off the interstate.
The negative is the room was DISGUSTING! The smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag. The drawer had no bottom. The walls needed a major repainting and repair. The bathtub faucet was in need of repair. The king bed had a gully running down the middle of the bed. There was no mini fridge or microwave. The towels and linens were soiled.
I would not recommend this place until they totally renovate.
- johann (4/5): - Upon check in I was asked for a $50 cash deposit against "smoking in the room". I explained I didn't have cash and the front desk clerk again stated I should pay cash. We went back and forth and he finally agreed to take the deposit on a credit card. The room needed to be cleaned. The carpet was dirty and sticky in spiots. The towel rack in the bathroom was laying on the floor. Bedding was covered in human hair. The curb of the parking spots of the property needs to be swept as its full of trash and leaves. Breakfast was advertised being available from 6-9am. Upon arrival in the dining area at 0845am, coffee was empty, a choice of cereal was availabe and one type of small muffins was the other choice. No juice or anything else-this brough new meaning to the word "continenal breakfast".
