Manu (10/5): L’endroit parfait pour séjourner à Hanoï - Un accueil parfait, des chambres magnifiques, une situation idéale au cœur du vieux quartier de Hanoï, le spa génial, le petit déjeuner incroyable, bref, vraiment un endroit parfait pour commencer un séjour au Vietnam et pouvoir à la fois se remettre du long voyage et plonger dans le vif du sujet! Une note particulière pour la gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel ❤️ Nous avons tout aimé! Mais peut être juste un commentaire à destination des personnes qui veulent s’y rendre avec des enfants: l’hôtel dispose d’une piscine en rooftop, elle est magnifique mais pas du tout adaptée aux enfants: les abords sont en marbre, c’est très glissant, vraiment très dangereux pour des enfants.

The quality of the equipment in the gym was a lovely surprise. The best I have ever had in a hotel. I am staying again at the end of our trip to Vietnam and already looking forward to our return. Nothing, it was genuinely all great. I got a recommendation from friends who stayed last year and I would recommend it myself in a heartbeat also! If I had to think of something, the pillows weren't great, but I had to really think about it!

My husband and I had three massages around Vietnam and we liked this hotels massage the best. We definitely would visit again when we return to Hanoi.

DUMONT DURAND (10/5): Excellent hôtel, emplacement idéal et personnel fantastique - Très bel hôtel, très propre et bien situé pour visiter Hanoi. Au cœur du quartier historique et vivant, tout est accessible à pied. Personnel aux petits soins, extrêmement gentil et serviable, toujoursprésentpour nous aider. Les petits déjeuners sont excellents et les massages vraiment très agréables. Beaucoup de luminosité dans la chambre la nuit, ce qui est facilement résolu avec un masque de sommeil

Anja Sisser (7/5): Personalet var søde, imødekommende og hjælpsomme. - Da vi kom retur fra Halon Bay, var der skrevet velkommen hjem med blade på vores seng, det var meget sødt og gav et smil på læben både hos mig og hos min datter. Til min datter lå der en desuden en gave i form af en bamse. Hun er egentligt vokset fra bamser, men hun blev glad for ham, og havde ham hos sig resten af ferien. Personalet var søde, imødekommende og hjælpsomme. Der var en hæveautomat lige uden for hotellet. Ved indtjekning udlevere de rabatkuponer men havde ikke dem alle. De siger selv (dvs. jeg spurgte ikke til dette), at de ligegyldigt hvad, trækker dette fra, når man tjekker ud. Dette skete ikke. Jeg gad ikke kommentere på dette, men det virker bare dumt selv at sige det og gøre opmærksom på det, som en ting, og så ikke gøre det. Så var det måske bedre, bare at droppe de rabatkuponer.

Eddie (9/5): Nice local gem obviously loved by your guests. Friendly staff and tasteful vibes. - Nice comfy room with tasteful decor and rooftop bar area which we enjoyed. One of the best coffee I’ve had from restaurant. Kudos to your barista! Check out experience was under par. Perhaps was due to all the tour groups? It was a nightmare having all pick up vessels parallel parked in front of hotel on already narrow street while waiting for housekeeping to confirm it’s ok to leave. Isn’t it the credit card info for? Maybe better organised check out experience knowing guests would depart in the AM?

Leanne (10/5): Hospitality at its best - Beautiful botique hotel with outstanding service. Honestly the staff are an asset and truly made our stay memorable. Breakfast was outstanding with chef cooking eggs, large variety of western, Asian and French offerings. And the best coffee! Rooms are large and well appointed. Beds comfortable and large. We have never stayed in a hotel without a window, but honestly didn't feel claustrophobic like we were expecting. Rooftop Bar is amazing with the staff making great cocktails. Rooftop pool is small but adequate for a quick afternoon splash. Nothing - can't fault this hotel

The rooms are beautiful and spacious, the rooftop bar is a lovely place to come in the afternoon / evening to relax and enjoy a drink or two, the spa in the hotel is very good too - would certainly recommend staying here when you are in Hanoi

Le prix du restaurant bar sur le toit pas donné au vu de ce qu'on paie ailleurs à Hanoi. Chambre seulement disponible à 14h en ayant atteri d un vol de nuit à 6h30.

Irmak (9/5): Comfy and safe - I think, the location was the best aspect of the hotel. The most of the attractions in Hanoi were in walking distance, almost right after you stepped out from the hotel. People usually find the check-in process too long and exhausting in Vietnam, but I actually appreciated that they take the time and spend with you while walking you through all the details. It is also important for you to be informed before you sign anything and start your stay at the hotel. There is a complex credit card issue (please see the negative feedback below). The room I stayed in came with a promotion from booking.com (almost 1/3 of the real price). It was spacious enough and on the top floor, and had a giant terrace with city view. Not for me but for someone else the down side might be the noıse coming from the bar just above the room. But for me, the terrace was like a private area with music and the voice of happy people. It felt cozy :) The hotel is also very safe and comfortable for female solo traveller. The room can be locked and the terrace was not accessible from another room. The staff was also attentive. They recommended for place to eat, exchange money and arranged a day-trip to Ninh Binh for me. Overall, it was a comfy and safe place for me. I couldn't find the time to use the hotel facilities like spa and pool, and my stay didn't include the breakfast - so, I can't make comments about them. But the roof bar is great :) drinks and snacks are topnotch!! Like in most of the hotels in Vietnam, yes, payment is super annoying. But I think this is something they should also figure out with booking.com Paying credit card adds 5% on the price (which I didn't mind) and if you pay cash, yes you pay less. But, I still don't feel comfortable with the way they handle this situation. Again, this is not something peculiar to Meritel only. I provided one feedback for improvement to the hotel directly (no need to repeat it over here), and they took it very seriously already.

Top Lage mitten im Old Town. Top Ausstattung. Wir hatten ein Zimmer ohne Fenster, war aber nicht so schlimm, da wir ohnehin dauernd unterwegs waren. Alles in Fussweite.

Klaudia (8/5): Solid hotel in the heart of Hanoi - Great stay overall. The location is ideal, right on the edge of the Old Quarter so everything is at your doorstep and easy to walk to. Traffic can be intense at peak times, but if you enjoy the energy and buzz of Hanoi, it’s perfect. Inside the hotel it’s surprisingly quiet, which we really appreciated. Staff were lovely throughout. We had connecting rooms which worked really well for us travelling with kids, plenty of space and very comfortable beds and bedding. A few small downsides. The pool area is quite small and felt a bit worn, it could definitely use a refresh. We also would have liked a bath in the room. Breakfast was solid and room service was great. One issue we had was handled quickly and without any fuss, which always makes a difference. The spa was wonderful and a real highlight. Overall, a really enjoyable stay and we’d happily come back.
Hannah (10/5): Very stylish boutique hotel - The staff were amazing, good breakfast selection and the interior design is very stylish. The reason we booked was because of the pool which we used each day and was lovely. I don’t think it’s heated but the weather was hot whilst we were staying. We also really enjoyed the rooftop bar which has a great atmosphere in the evening. The hotel is very close to the southern end of train street which was fun

Pour les personnes souhaitant visiter la fameuse rue du train, l’hôtel est situé à quelques minutes 👌🏼. L’hôtel est propre, bien insonorisé et équipé. Le personnel est accueillant et très agréable. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, nous avons apprécié notre séjour au sein de l’établissement Meritel Hanoï. Pour finir, nous remercions de tout cœur Mr. Paul (HÀ THÀNH BÌNH) pour sa patience, sa gentillesse et son professionnalisme qui reflète la beauté du Vietnam. Simone (10/5): Hanoi is a great city for a few nights and the meritel is the perfect hotel for peace and quiet in such a dynamic place. - The hotel location was perfect for our three night stay in Hanoi! The breakfast and staff were fantastic throughout our stay. The recommendations provided by Katy on our arrival were extremely helpful.
