• Juan (1/5): Worst stay ever - If it's not margaritaville offering you these cottages, please believe me that the extra 200-300$ you save IS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE. The first thing we wanted to do when we got here was make frozen drinks, we had already gone shopping and arrived with some groceries. The margaritaville blender was disgusting dirty, my husband and I spent about an hour cleaning all the little pieces. Sink leaking water on the left side of the downstairs bathroom and ruined my outfit before going out. After a long day, we bought a bunch of burgers and hotdogs only to find that the BBQ didn't work at 10 pm which made all hell brake loose, everyone was hungry and tired. Kitchen steak knives were also dirty list goes on. We have pictures and videos of everything. We rented this property to enjoy the private spa and pool only to find out it is an extra charge. When we called about it, it was another extra charge to turn on the heater "after check-in" but that it could take up to 12 hours. Meanwhile, our neighbors spa is roaring and steaming. We were never told anything about this charge beforehand and would have loved to have the pool ready for our arrival. It is 45 degrees in the mornings here, and the pool was ice cold. Even if we paid for the heated pool, it shuts off automatically at 9 p.m., and also that they couldn't have anyone come until the next day! Customer service was horrible. The lady on the phone acted like she could care less. We got a hold of a manager that "fixed the heater issue," but the spa never got to a comfortable temperature that night. I was so ANGRY watching the neighbors enjoy their hot spa all night while my kids couldn't even get in our ice bath. In one email that they sent me, it says we can enjoy some amenities of the margaritaville, but fins up was exempt. Come to find you have no access to the margaritaville at all.
• Jessica (2/5): worst stay ever. - This stay was HORRIBLE. The management was horrible as well. Buyers beware do NOT rent from this company. The run around I was receiving the whole time I was here about the pool and hot tub not working was insane. They are disrespectful and unprofessional. I was told I would be compensated because we couldn’t use the pool or hot tub but never was called back. Ever. You can’t use margaritaville pool so we were stuck not able to enjoy anything. The grill was so rusted. We couldn’t use that. The house was so dirty. I colorized the whole house and the rags were black. Went to lay on the couch and pulled it out to find food and popcorn. The silverware and pans weren’t cleaned properly. They told us we had to keep the air at 75 to work properly. Upon 11am check out we had people knocking on the door at 10 and 10:30 to leave I refused to leave until my checkout which was 11 we were still packing the car. Please think before renting from here. Go to rentyl. Or vstays. They are both amazing.
