• Tatiana (8/5): - Достаточно просторный современный номер с балконом. Сотрудники отеля всегда готовы помочь. Что касается музыки, про которую тут много написано - да, это имеет место быть, внизу расположен клуб. Но в ночь на понедельник было абсолютно тихо))). Есть прекрасная roof top веранда, где подают завтрак. Веранда доступна для гостей в любое время, вы можете купить свою еду и напитки и наслаждаться видом. Нам в целом понравилось.
• Elisabeth (9/5): Hôtel central et cosy - L'hôtel est central, cosy. La chambre est confortable et très propre. Le personnel est d'une grande gentillesse, à votre disposition en cas de difficultés. L'environnement de l'hôtel est animé et donc bruyant. D'une manière générale, ou que l'on soit dans le centre d'Istanbul, c'est bruyant ! Nous avions une chambre au 3eme étage et avons géré les débuts de nuit avec des boules quies (mis à disposition par l'établissement). Nous y sommes restés 4 nuits, ça n'a pas été un soucis.

• NFE (8/5): Super Lage und sehr hilfsbereites Personal - Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, eine hervorragende Lage sowie täglich frisches Trinkwasser im Zimmer haben meinen Aufenthalt besonders angenehm gemacht. Die Fenster sind etwas undicht, wodurch Straßengeräusche stärker zu hören sind und von Donnerstag bis Samstag ist der kleine Club hinter dem Hotel geöffnet, dessen Musik bis spät in die Nacht hörbar ist.

Rooms are a decent size, nicely decorated and the ensuite bathrooms are good with plenty of hot water. There is disco next door which had loud music going on till 4am, not great! The aircon was on winter mode so no cooling, for some reason our room was really hot even though we had the radiators turned off. Complained to reception a couple of times but no joy. Kept the balcony door open one night for some cooler air but the noise of the disco was too much. Eventually, after two nights of poor sleep the chap on duty went and got a fan from his own house and let us borrow it for the remainder of our stay (fair play to him).

• NATALIYA (10/5): - Чудесный отель! Останавливаемся уже второй раз. Отель находится практически на улице Истикляль, то метро Таксим 7 минут, то галатской башни мнут 8-10. Завтраки хорошие: разные сыры, овощи, кофе, чай, делают омлет, скрамбл или прост глазунью. Полотенца меняются каждый день, уборка каждый день. В номере очень тепло🩷
• Stephanie (1/5): Achtung Betrug/ Abzocke - Wir haben das Hotel gebucht, weil wir uns auf die Bewertungen auf Booking.com verlassen haben. Wir können das Hotel aber niemanden empfehlen. Es ist unverständlich, wie dieses Hotel doch so gute Bewertungen haben kann. Wir gehen davon aus, dass die Bewertungen für dieses Hotel allesamt gefälscht sind. Das Hotel liegt in einer Straße voller Bars und Clubs. Wir haben bereits bei der Ankunft gemerkt, dass es sehr laut war in dem Zimmer auf Nachfrage ob wir ein anderes Zimmer bekommen wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass es spätestens um 12:00 Uhr ruhig ist. Das war eine Lüge. Wir konnten die ganze Nacht kein Auge zu tun, weil es so extrem laut war. Daraufhin haben wir beschlossen uns ein anderes Hotel. Wir wollten morgens ausschecken, aber der Manager war nicht da. Anscheinend konnten wir daher nicht die eine Nacht bezahlen. Uns wurde angeboten, dass uns der Manager später über WhatsApp kontaktiert. Auch wenn wir das ziemlich ungewöhnlich fanden, stimmten wir zu. Der Manager meldet sich später per WhatsApp und gab zwei Optionen an: entweder wir überweisen die Zahlung für eine Nacht an die per WhatsApp übermittelte IBAN oder er schickt einen Freund vorbei, dem wir das Geld in bar geben. Da wir die letzte Option seltsam fanden, überwiesen wie sofort das Geld per Auslandsüberweisung an die übermittelt der IBAN. 2 Stunden später erhielt ich eine Mitteilung von meiner Bank, das versucht wurde über die am Hotel hinterlegte Kreditkarte der gesamte Betrag für die gebuchten drei Nächte abzubuchen. Das wurde zum Glück geblockt. Daraufhin erhielt ich per WhatsApp weitere Nachrichten, dass sie es sich doch anders überlegt haben und das Geld gerne im bar möchten. Ich solle doch meinen Standort teilen und man werde Person zu mir schicken, die das Geld in bar abholen. Da ich auch dieses Verhalten sehr seltsam fand und zum anderen das Geld auch bereits per Auslandsüberweisung überwiesen habe, lehnte ich ab. Außerdem erklärte ich, dass eine Auslandsüberweisung wohl ein bis zwei Tage dauert.

• Olga (10/5): Красивый дизайнерский отель на Истикляль - Отличное месторасположение , красивый отель. Останавливаюсь в нем 2-й раз уже. Фото отеля соответствуют действительности. В прошлый раз окна выходили на внутреннюю сторону , номер был с балконом . Внутри двора бар , где играет музыка до 2-3 ночи. В этот раз окна выходили на другую сторону , но тоже непонятно откуда играла музыка до 2-3 ночи , а так же под окнами дорога и слышен весь проезжающий транспорт . Даже ночью была пробка из машин под окнами. Из окна номера видно море. Слышимость улицы и доносящаяся ночью музыка из близ расположенных баров. А в остальном всё прекрасно.

The roof top was accessible to us and a great spot for take out food and beverages. The sheets and towels were lovely quality. Breakfast was great with a fabulous view and fresh breeze, so much better than air conditioning.

• annunziata (10/5): - Siamo tornati da poco da una vacanza bellissima a Istanbul! Abbiamo prenotato al Gentle Tom su Booking dopo un po’ di ricerche on line! La camera che abbiamo selezionato rispecchiava fedelmente le foto del sito e siamo stati contenti di soggiornarci! Non era grandissima,noi eravamo in due e siamo riusciti a gestire lo spazio con due bagagli a mano e uno più grande,facendo un po’ di attenzione agli spazi in condivisione! La colazione buona,prevalentemente salata ma se si ha voglia di qualcosa in particolare lo staff vi accontenterà! A noi è stata cucinata una omelette molto buona al momento!😊 staff disponibile e sempre presente,ci hanno aiutato a gestire tranfer e organizzare l’ultimo dell’anno all’ultimo momento! Zona molto bella di Istanbul,forse la mia preferita! Troverete tanto localini cool e negozietti di nicchia! Nel week end si sente dalle camere un po’ di strombazzamenti delle macchine e dei taxi ma vi doteranno di tappi per le orecchie se avete il sonno leggero! Noi abbiamo dormito comunque benissimo! • Ingo (7/5): Für einen Kurzaufenthalt sehr gut, wenn man nicht im 2. Stock wohnt. - Die Lage sehr gut, dicht bei eine grosse Einkaufsstrasse, in den Nebenstrassen überall Restaurants, zum Galataturm und zum Taksimplatz kann man zu Fuss. Wlan ohne Gebühren und sehr gut. Das Zimmer im 2.Stock nach hinten raus hat direkt gegenüber die Dachterrasse einer Bar, sehr laut bis spät nachts. Im Zimmer lagen vermutlich deshalb Ohrstöpsel. Den Balkon würde ich so nicht nennen, ist die Nottreppe, aber für einen Raucher bestimmt ausreichend. Das Frühstück war sehr sehr dürftig, lieber in den umliegenden Restaurants frühstücken.

• Lulu (7/5): - I love boutique hotels. I read the reviews about the noise. I thought maybe they were sensitive. But it was really too noisy..The music and traffic finally stopped at 5 am. It is in a nice location..close to everything. But not for me.the remote for the TV didn't work.

• Julie (8/5): A clean comfortable and welcoming hotel in a buzzing area - I like the Bosphorus view from my little balcony and the breakfast room. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff ensured that I had what I needed for my dietary requirements. It was only a few steps away from the main shopping area and a 15 min walk from Taksim Square. An ideal central location. There was a lot of noise from clubs and bars below the property. There was also a fire ladder leading up to the balcony which made me feel a little unsafe as a solo traveller.

• боброва (9/5): За эти деньги лучше снять апартаменты. Жить около истекляль не советую:) - Красивый интерьер, чисто. Красивый вид с веранды на крыше. В ночь с пятницы на субботу и с субботы на воскресенье спать было вообще невозможно. Ощущение, что нет никакой шумоизоляции и ты спишь прямо на вечеринке на улице. Очень очень скудный завтрак, никогда такого не встречала. Обещали, что будут делать омлет, но нам предложили его всего один раз. В остальное время были вареные яйца, пару видов сыра.
• Ruslan (8/5): - Красивый номер, всё находится на своих местах и очень стильно оформлено. В номере есть всё что нужно, даже капсульный кофе. Убирают каждый день. В номере чисто, пыли нет. Персонал очень дружелюбный. Завтраки вкусные и очень даже приличные за свои деньги. Мне сутки в отеле обходились в 10 000 руб. (200 azn или 5000 лир) Расположение у отеля хорошее, но только для молодых и активных, т.к бейоглу - это гора. Близко башня Галата и все пабы, бары, аптеки, станции метро и магазины. Есть сейф. Район Бейоглу гористый, людям в возрасте будет тяжело подниматься. С другой стороны можно приезжать на трамваем Т1 до станции Кабаташ, а оттуда на фуникулёр подниматься наверх, на эту гору к улице Таксим. И вуаля, вы в одной плоскости со своим отелем, остаётся только до него дойти. Сантехника дорогая, но в плохом состоянии, нужно срочное обслуживание смесителя над раковиной, поменять загнившую затирку на душевом стекле. Шланг и душевая лейка требуют замены. В остальном, всё отлично было.
• Christensen (8/5): - Hyggelig hotel, med fin beliggenheden og udsigt. Morgen mad kunne godt være lidt bedre, men den var på ingen måde dårlig.
• Muriel (7/5): - Sehr modernes, sauberes Hotel mit einer sehr zentralen Lage Das Hotel liegt an einer sehr stark befahrenen Straße und vorallem abends wird es sehr laut. Die Fenster sind schlecht isoliert und man hat leider das Gefühl, dass die Autos direkt durch das Zimmer fahren.

• _nosi_ (10/5): - Классный небольшой отель, в двух шагах от Истикляль, Таксим и Галаты. У нашего номера из окна был вид на лицей, вид на город и немного Босфор. А не на окна соседнего дома. Это большой плюс! В отеле уютно, стильно, очень чисто. Есть лифт. Шум города спать нам не мешал, баров рядом особо нет. На террасе на крыше подавали простой завтрак. Однозначно нам понравилось! Я бы вернулась! Слишком мало погостили)

Decent twin room with all necessary amenities including a nespresso machine! - The staff was amazing, particularly Umut who was very helpful and resolved an issue with the room I had initially booked, which made my stay more pleasant. Also Fatih and Burak were very helpful. The location of the hotel is close to Istiklal street, a main shopping hub with many restaurants, cafes and local/international brands. Nothing to complain about because the hotel was good value for the money spent.
• David (10/5): - Great location, fantastic rooms design and so close to access to the city. Walkable to Galata and down to the river. Lots of great places to eat and drink on thr doorstep. Well recommend!

• Coralie (7/5): Emplacement parfait mais un certain nombre de points a revoir - La situation géographique est parfaite . Point central dans la ville pour les visites , et rues tres sympas a proximité. La gentillesse du personnel qui est tres a l ecoute et apporte son aide si besoin. Le cadre general de l’hotel (pas de lobby, pas d’espace commun..) . La chambre est decevante versus les photos et la vue egalement. Le petit dejeuner est vraiment a revoir

Best English bookshop in Istanbul, or anywhere really. Situated on three levels & packed with every book you ever wanted to read.
