The room is not as big as the pictures. You Pay R1001.00 for cleaning and no one comes to clean. Tania and Layla at the Capetown call centre are horrible and rude hosts. There is 0 hospitality, they are just a money making skeem. No option to upgrade the small room, if you don't like it "Leave it" and you loose your money. Same applies with cancelation. The carpet is dirty. There is no airconditioning in the room making it super stuffy. There's mold in the bathroom on the walls because there isn't enough air coming into the apartment. You have to share a main door with the neighbours coming into the apartment. It feels like a student accommodation 0 value for money and disappointing. Would never recommend Propr to anyone. They are pathetic and don't care for their guests needs. R15000.00 down the drain for absolutely Nothing.

Our receipt had shown an entire apartment but we were assigned a room with a kit - We had a slight issue with the door lock and were stuck outside for about 45 mins with out anyone coming to assist prompting me to keep trying the door until it finally opened. Nobathembu (4/5): Terrible customer service - the longest month - The location I booked a family member at this place, and 4 days before flying to SA, war broke out in the Middle East. All airports are closed - flights are being cancelled. The Monroe people had no interest in cancelling or moving the dates - absolutely had no interest. After many rebooking, I inform them her flight arrival time -22:10. They acknowledge this update. On arrival at the apartment, the key lockbox is empty. Up and down with the security guard, no key could be found. It is close to midnight and it is cold. I am calling their Cape Town number incessantly - she is also calling them from the gate, call centre music all the way. I am calling Booking.com in the UK, their AI assistant is taking me in circles. Realising there will be no solution, I call a hotel and book her for the night -R2000 out of pocket including the cab to the Crowne Plaza. Next day she gets there, the apartment looks nothing like the images on the site. It is a cramped bachelors, no separate bedroom. Her key and fob for the gate could not be located -she struggles leaving the apartment or letting deiveries in at the gate. I keep being given access codes that do not work. Wi-fi goes off, they say reset router, except router is in another partment, that guest is out. We have to wait till he returns. She goes to the outside bins to throw trash out, returns to find front door leading to apartment has been locked by adjoining apartment guest. It is in the evening. Up and down with security. I am calling their number, she is calling their number, I am calling my friends in Joburg, I am calling 24 hour locksmith. That locksmith woman was on point, she was already asking for pictures of the door lock, ready to go there. This was after giving up calling Monroe Cape Town number, with their call centre saying I am first in line- forever. They finally solve that problem - with such poor co-ordination evident. They wrote to me as if I should have trusted they will solve the problem.

Realeboga (3/5): Disappointed - The security at the gate was friendly and kind . The unit that I chose from the website was totally different from the one I got . Firstly my unit was very small . I felt like I was in the student residence. Secondly I was sharing the main door with the next door unit, that made me feel uncomfortable. Lastly i chose the unit with a balcony or garden like I saw on the website instead I was given a small unit without balcony or garden. There was a noise at night. The house pool is very small , you have to ask the security to open for you , and after you look it gain . I wanted to swim but it was not clean . Lastly house keeping only comes when you check out . I felt like I was in the wrong unit. I didn't like the fact that when I complain about all that , they tried to removed me by extra charges to another location, which is something that I was not planning for , since my weekend plans was around that present location, not somewhere else.

Neani Thendo (7/5): It's a great place to visit for a short stay if you're mostly busy during the day for work purposes or occupied - I really liked the prime location right in the heart of Rosebank, within a secure complex that offered peace of mind. It came with all the standard amenities I needed—like a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, and reliable Wi-Fi. Being so close to Rosebank Mall for shopping, the vibrant Keyes Art Mile for galleries and eateries, trendy Parkhurst with its cafes and restaurants, and other great Johannesburg spots made everything super convenient and accessible by a short walk or quick drive. The main thing I didn't like was that there was no air conditioner, which made the warmer summer days and evenings feel a bit stuffy indoors.

Malimba (7/5): Was a good stay overall, if minor inconvenience could be fixed, would book again. - The Monroe is situated in a prime location, being just a walking distance from Rosebank Mall and other tourist attractions. The apartment itself was relatively clean and is in a quite area. Some sort of air conditioning or a fan would have been greatly appreciated. We also experienced a lack of service during our stay, with host offering help but we never actually received it as our fridge remained off during our stay. The WiFi was seemingly unstable and we were only given access to it on the second day of our stay.

lusewa (1/5): Bad Experience stay. - Just bad experience The staffs didnt cooperate on my cancellation request of one Unit (studio -15B) despite the fact that I told tjem about it since 25th Dec on my arrival. So I ended up paying for a property for five (5) days while actually no one was using it. None of the staffs whom were texting me on whatsapp ever responded to my issue. We had water issue for more than 12 hours meanwhile I had children with me. I reported issue and no one was also responding until next day morning. We had inrernet issue on the same day we had water issue. You can imagine. I had to go to other people asking for internet access so I could text the property owner. Lastly; they were removing the feedback link so that I dont write this feedback. Thats very unproffesional. I still look forward to be compensated my money for the Studio Unit since I had reported and apply it to the booking.com on time.

Wiltshire (5/5): - I would like to commend Chelsea for her exceptional assistance. She was kind, patient, and truly supportive throughout the entire process. She even went out of her way to drive me to the new location and waited with me until everything was completed. Her professionalism and care made a challenging experience much easier, and she was the only part of the service that I genuinely appreciated. I was extremely disappointed with the lack of communication from Propr. I had no prior communication about anything that was required of me to get signed in, just a code. My booking was canceled without prior response, and the alternative options presented to me as a Plan B were not suitable. The situation was made worse by the fact that the other staff members appeared confused and unable to assist confidently, which was very frustrating. As a result, I did not end up staying at the Monroe at all. This entire experience took place at night, in the rain, which added unnecessary stress to an already unpleasant situation.

Overall aesthetic was good, but underwhelming compared to the pictures.
