• Panagiotis (1/5): Terrible experience. Avoid this property! - The location is the only good thing about this property. I am very familiar with the neighbourhood and this is why I chose to stay at this apartment. I arrived at the apartment in the early hours of the morning and the next day I had to prepare for business meetings. In the morning, I realised that there was no hot water for my shower because the switch for the hot water was off. I understand that the owner wants to save money but I wasn't told in advance about this switch. I called the phone number I was given to ask about the switches. A hotel would never allow you to touch the electrical switch box and I was not comfortable with it. So, I made a call to make sure I was turning the right switch on and I was very polite to the woman who answered the phone. Her answer was "don't you have switches in Greece?" I told her that I was from London and I just wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing because there was no hot water for my shower. She replied "You will destroy my place, a........, m..........." And she hung up on me! I tried to call back three times to give her the chance to apologise but she didn't answer. She used two Greek swear words that I can't even repeat here and I have never used in my life. I'd say that only people with no education would use such terrible vocabulary. It took 40 minutes to get hot water. The irony is that I was late for a meeting with tourism and aviation experts. I have informed my tourism and aviation contacts in Greece about my experience. The Ministry for Tourism and the Greek Tourism Organisation will also be informed. I know that the so called host belongs to the minority of rude and unprofessional hospitality "professionals" in Greece. I called booking.com and the customer service representative registered an official complaint. She was very nice and understanding. She encouraged me to write an honest review. I strongly recommend that you avoid booking this property and I hope that booking.com will remove it from its lists.

• Elena (7/5): Atene e dintorni. - La posizione era perfetta, 10 minuti a piedi da piazza Syntagma, 20 da piazza Monastiraki. In zona tanti locali per mangiare. Quartiere tranquillo. Posto macchina in parcheggio a pagamento a 2 minuti a piedi. Per la colazione abbiamo trovato fette biscottate, marmellata, 2 caffè e acqua. Prodotti da bagno disponibili. Cucina piccolissima, senza fornelli, solo una piastra, non adatta per cucinare un pranzo o una cena. Nel bagno sarebbe opportuno mettere un gancio per il sifone della doccia. Cuscini troppo bassi.

• Jade (7/5): Enjoyable - I enjoyed my stay overall. The location was great, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and kind, which made me feel very welcome. The space itself was cute and comfortable. The handheld shower wasn’t mounted and was a bit uncomfortable to use, and a duvet instead of a blanket would make it more comfortable.
• Anna (5/5): - Η τοποθεσία εξαιρετική και το στρώμα πολύ άνετο Δεν υπάρχει καθόλου ηχομόνωση. Αν δεν μπορείς να κοιμηθείς με θορύβους από τον δρόμο ή την πολυκατοικία καλύτερα να μην επιλέξεις το συγκεκριμένο κατάλυμα. Επίσης το δωμάτιο δεν έσφιζε και από καθαριότητα.

• ludovica (8/5): - la posizione è ottima, il quartiere molto carino. aggiungerei una o due poltroncine al posto del tavolino sotto la tv si vede che i proprietari stanno pian piano sistemando le varie cose, il bagno è un po' vecchiotto, ma comunque comodo. la cucina se pur piccola è perfettamente attrezzata per le colazioni, direi non adatta per cucinare.
• Dimitris (6/5): Good flat, rude hosts - Location is great and size of flat is good. The staff is borderline rude. Arrogant and uncooperative. First you get messages again and again about what you leave. Then at 11am someone rings the bell. You feel like they can't wait to see you go. And finally if you forget anything, forget it for good. I forgot my cross pendant in the bed and they felt annoyed that I asked about it and of course they never gave it back to me. By far the worst hosts I ever encountered.

• Sandra (1/5): Worst host ever - Be careful of renting this place, the AC doesnt work, the room lights don't shut off, theres no real kitchen just a little stove, can't open the curtain because the studio is ground level so all the people walking see inside the room. And the host is absolutely rude, disregarded the AC and lights not working, told me I was lying eventhough I sent her a video proving this, yelled at me , threatened me, completely mistreated me, can't wait to see her reply, as my lawyer will use this as more proof.

• ESTEBAN (8/5): Atenas para disfrutar desde un bien ubicado apartamento - El apartamento es sencillo y razonablemente bien equipado. Sin desayuno. En los alrededores hay varios cafés muy agradables para desayunar. También hay buenos restaurantes alrededor, Cerca de Plaza Sintagma. Barrio muy lindo

• Farhana (9/5): - The location was 5 min walking distance from my conference venue. The area has many cool restaurants nearby. The place was very comfy, large room with good amenities, and hosts were very responsive and helpful.
• Cherki (3/5): OLD NOISY - Neighborhood The place is old !!!!! On arrival we could not open the door of the apartment, we needed to call for help to open the door. The kitchen is the size of a closet. The bathroom is small and old. There is no place to put a bar of soap when having a shower and hardly any place for hanging towels or clothing in the bathroom. The shower handle is very old makes for unpleasant shower. The apartment is extremely noisy. The NOISE comes from inside the building from people speaking and walking as the apartment is next to the building entrance door. And NOISE from the street as the apartment is on street level ! The apartment sliding door giving on the street does not close ! NO POSSIBILITY TO LOCK THE SLIDING DOOR ! The apartment was NEVER serviced for during our 8 day stay. NO change of towels NO emptying of garbage bins. To top it all we were given just 2 toilet paper rolls for the length of or 8 day stay. We needed to purchase toilet paper !

• Kate (5/5): Passable - easy lock box outside the host was not contactable the entire 5 days - I requested a late checkout on the day of arrival - I never received any reply. Good thing i did not have a serious problem. There was construction next door which began daily at 8.30am. The building is very noisy with people coming and going at all hours. This studio on the street ground floor and next to entrance door and stairs.

• Valerie (7/5): Great location near Kolonaki Sq. - Location, clean, good communication from owner/manager re entry and location of key No place to hang stuff in bath and no electrical outlet in bath for hairdryer so I had to dry my hair in the kitchen with no mirror. Also nearly on ground level so leaving blind up was a non-starter. And the sliding door lock to the tiny balcony didn’t lock - easily fixable.
• Tana (6/5): Best suits a single for one or two nights. - Nice floor, nice rug. Very noisy street for most of the night - even in a Monday. Patio door does not lock properly. Curtains do not cover windows properly. An electric point in wall is hanging loose. Kitchen fridge very noisy. Could benefit from at least a couple of larger mugs for tea/coffee. Bed is not a comfortable double for a couple - two singles hooked together throw you both into the middle.

• Ilaria (8/5): perfect location in nice Kolonaki - Perfect location for a large bedroom with tiny kitchen and bathroom. The owner very fast in answering. I asked for a late check out that was not granted. Instead they asked me to inform them if I was leaving before 11 am (checkout time). In the flat there were soaps, shampoo, conditioner, some tea bags and coffee capsules. Kitchen and bathroom would benefit from some renovations. The flat was pretty noisy in the morning due to some ongoing works on the adjacent road.

• C (8/5): ok property in decent location - the location was mostly great in that it was near many restaurants and shops and in a good part of Athens. it was a short walk to Syntagma or Evangelismos. bed was super uncomfortable- 2 twins together but the mattresses dipped on the sides. the kitchen was a why bother. the bad thing about the location was that it was loud being right on the street and right next to some construction.

• Ioannis (7/5): Perfect location stay in Athens - Nicely decorated and clean room Strategic location to explore the city of Athens Extremely noisy A/C that doesn’t really cool down the space. The building is old and has very bad isolation. Therefore when people walk upstairs you hear their steps like horses. Bathroom has no real ventilation. The flat is on an elevated ground floor and everybody can see from outside inside the bedroom if you have open windows/curtains etc

• Sharra (6/5): Shabby apartment in a nice area- Ok for 1 night - The orange tree outside was beautiful. The location of the home is very good . Bathroom and kitchen are very primitive. It is very hard to use the so called kitchen . No room to move around!!! There is no stove, no oven, no microwave... The bathroom was aweful- very old and shabby. Purchasing a Shower head is really easy but I don't think owner cares!

• Philiaz (8/5): Charming old Athenian apartment in a lovely and central location - The property was easy to find and access. It was very clean and comfortable offering everything I needed for my short stay. I also found the hosts to be very communicative and responsive. The location was fantastic and I tried to book again for my departure but it wasnt available! Highly recommended for a short and central stay. For an old Athenian building which I prefer, I could find few faults, which I expected to find, but this did not effect my stay. I thought the kitchen and bathroom needed a fan and I think the electrical wiring is a little precarious and needs caution. Some may find this place a little noisy during the day, but this is to be expected in such a central location and it really didn't bother me at all

• Colin (6/5): Nice apartment, but... - No issues with the property and we enjoyed our stay. However, the owner charged us twice, in error. Admittedly the refund was prompt, but due to a change in exchange rate, we were out of pocket by about 5% of our original payment. Hotels.com were extremely helpful, but ultimately the owner said she had done nothing wrong and refused to compensate the loss, even though it was a direct result of being charged a second time.

• Su (9/5): A nice place for short stay in a safe residence area - The hotel locates in a safe residence area, easy access to supermarket and restaurant and shops. A indoor parking garage is in just 100 or 200 meters with 25 euro per day. Parking on street is passible and free between 9 pm and 9 am (please double check when parking). Process to collect the key is not difficult, but we spent some time to find the room (on which floor was not clear). A lady who lives in the building kindly guided us to find the room on the correct floor. It is a studio with a small kitchen and bathroom. Room is well designed and very clean. 1) The room is beautiful with TV, air conditioner. The edges of the beds are slippery and can easily fall to the ground, so be careful when sleeping or sitting on it. 2) the shower has limited warm water that cannot support two persons for short showers, the second one got cool water on the half way of shower in the night. In the next morning, all cool water. And you should hold the shower head all the time because no fixing on the wall for it. 3) there are opened small fruit jam boxes in the refrigerator in the kitchen.

I would definitely come back. Wi-fi didn't work but the host worked hard to get it sorted for me. I declined further investigation as I didn't really need it, or I'm sure it would have been fixed.

Great location with good quality restaurants and coffee nearby. Cleaner and nicer streets than other areas of Athens. The room was good for our stay. We didn't use the kitchen because we ordered food from restaurant. The kitchen is small if you want to cook yourself.
